Acrobat error msg. 1303

I am installing acrobat in Win8 and receive error message 1303 which states "the installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:Program files (X86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat The installation cannot continue. Log on as an administrator or contact your system administrator." Any thoughts?

I'm trying to upload movies to my iPad for the first time. My Library is on a network drive (\\MYBOOKLIVE\Public). When I try to import any one of three different m4v files into iTunes I get an error message "Attempting to copy to the disk 'Public' failed. An unknown error occurred (-1303)."
I've seen discussions here for the iPhone with this error, but I don't find any discussions under iPad for this error.
All other applications recognize this network drive.
Is there any other work-around to get a movie onto my iPad to get around this error?

Hi,
The numbered error messages usually point to anti virus software and / or a firewall. Disable the software, turn off the Firewall. See if that helps.

If you are running v10.6.4 as your profiles suggests, you need to update your system software. Click the Apple () menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...

Photoshop CS2 (program error msg)... Help please!!

I have installed the full creative suite 2 on my new iMac. everything works fine except photoshop?!!?
Illustrator works great, In-Design works great, But when i try to open a file or create a new page in PS it tells me "Could not create document because of a program error"???? ***?
I had a previous version of CS and it worked fine for one day, then that started happening. I installed the CS2 trial version, and it would still give me the same error msg. I erased everything and installed the new CS2 (photoshop, illustrator , in-design and acrobat). It still gives me the same darn msg.???
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest whenever you have problems with third-party applications, the first place to start troubleshooting is with the application's documentation, then vendor's web site. Usually their sites have FAQs, lists of known bugs, or application-specific forums similar to these Discussions. Sometimes, unlike the Apple Discussions, the questions are even answered by employees of the vendor.

Editing a pdf form that I created. Adding header, currently the header only appears on page 1 of a 3 page pdf form. I want it to appear on each page. I am receiving the error msg "do not have sufficient permissions to perform this task"

I have the same issue...I called Adobe and they said that Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 7 ...so I tried installing the suite again without Acrobat and still the same issue....does anyone know if this issue is resolved by getting the new CS5 suite??? My Acrobat Ver. 9.4.2 has the following error msg when I click Attach to email: "No profiles have been created.."
I have created the profile in Windows 7 and it works fine with all of the Microsoft Office programs. I use Thunderbird email.
I've followed the corrective measures listed by Adobe to no avail. Can anyone offer some help?

Hi,
It is possible that even though you are using Thunderbird, Windows might have made outlook your default email client once you installed Microsoft Office. Since there is no email profile set in Outlook, it throws an error "No profiles have been created".
A work around can be to make create an email profile in Outlook and make sure that it is set as default email client by selecting it as default in "Default Programs".

PS: Adobe does not officially support Thunderbird.

Error Msg when trying to open PDF

When i try to open the pdf I keep getting an error msg that states "Warning: This form is not supported with the current version of Acrobat or Adobe Reader. Upgrade to the latest version for full support" but I only just downloaded this app today. Is there another version or an upgrade that I'm not finding?

Ran installation asst. several times for XI and at the end of the download, nothing happened. No prompt for where to install the trial program. Don't know why. No error msg. NADA. This is most annoying!

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and Internet Explorer version 11 (latest)
I used to beta test for Microsoft (among a plethora of software developers)
and am no stranger to installing software. Did it all the time (at home and
at work).
The Acrobat Install assistant leaves a lot to be desired, Im afraid. The
last time I ran it from the web site on my PC, it asked where to install and
the default is PROGRAM FILES. What it was saving to that location was the
actual install assistant NOT the trial version of Acrobat XI therein
lies the difference.

if you're using windows, click the start button>control panel>uninstall programs> and check for adobe acrobat and adobe reader. don't uninstall anything if you find it.
but if you find no acrobat/reader run the cleaner (Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs) and then try and install adobe reader.

How To Print After Error Msg: Unable to convert postscript file

We installed "Maverick" on our MacBook Pro and our printer is a HP 8600. We were unsuccessful in getting our Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 to print our PDF files. Instead, we got the error msg: Printing Stopped: unable to convert postscript file. We have used this application for years without any problems. How do we solve this problem so that our application WILL "convert postscript file" or do we have to spend several hundred dollars to upgrade?

I think we solved the problem. Instead of looking for the solution via Adobe, we went to our printer info online, which was the HP OfficeJet 8600. We found special printer drivers for our newly installed Maverick operating system for our MacBook Pro. After downloading and installing the new drivers per the directions, we tested printing a pdf document and it was printed without any problem.

Could you please specify more on this issue. Which app are you exactly talking about?
Are you using Adobe Reader on your Galaxy tab? Have you signed in to your "acrobat.com" account using Adobe credentials.
What exactly were you trying to do?
Please attach the screenshot of the error message(using camera icon) so that I can analyze the issue at my end.
