Acrobat full version on Win8.1 RT

I noticed that Acrobat XI Pro is available for purchase in the app store on a Windows 8.1 (x86) platform.
Is there plans to make it available for Windows 8.1 RT Surface tablets (ARM)?
Once this becomes available, the Windows RT platform will become the ultimate office machine with its already available printing & scanner capabilities and continued development for support for network & WiFi printing & scanning devices, please hurry and get this going if its already in the process, if not, its a shame, the RT OS prevents employees from jacking up a computer with viruses & spyware.

I don't think this is practical. It would have to be entirely redone as a metro app. This is because Microsoft do not allow anyone to write desktop apps for the RT. (Yes, they do it themselves with Office, but nobody else can join Office on the RT platform).

I clicked on the link from Pat's page to get Adobe Acrobat XI, not Lightroom 5!
And I do have JavaScript enabled in Safari. That shouldn't matter, as it just throws up an a11y barrier, but for Adobe, they want to slow everything down with a bunch of javascript to have me download Photoshop Lightroom 5.
I want to convert a PDF to HTML. And that is for unpaid research. Ena and I are taking apart the Monsanto's bought-and-paid-for research, performed by Monsanto employees, using Monsanto testing facility, and published through Elsevier, which has been caught by Merck for falsifying an entire review board.
I tried many other PDF to HTML converters, but they couldn't convert tables properly. Mozilla's own pdf.js failed there, too.
We want to shed light on this research for the general public, which is only ever given dumbed-down, superficial PR. And it is my idea to do this using HTML. Nobody else I know can or will accomplish this. It must get done and I must do it.
Please help me obtain a copy of Adobe Acrobat. Version ten would be just fine for my needs; this is a 2004 study, so probably and old PDF.

Based on the site System requirements | Acrobat family of products - Older Versions (XI, X, 9), you need AA XI. However, as far as I know AA X runs on Win8.1 and I even think 9 and maybe 8 will run, though not supported for Win8.1. AA X is no longer available from Adobe. Any third party purchases can be very risky, so be very careful with such a purchase. At this point, I would suggest AA DC instead.

You don't transfer it. You install it and use the serial number from the original to activate it. You might be able to find your serial number in your Adobe account online if you registered the software when you previously installed it. You can download the software thru the page linked below.

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI full version but the serial number given to me is invalid

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI full version and the reseller sent me a serial number but when I install an error message says the serial number is invalid.
The reseller claimed it is Adobe's problem not theirs.
Adobe website is very confusing that I am not able to send an email to ask for help.
It has been a week since I bought it and I am still not able to enjoy the program.
How do I go about getting Adobe attention on my problem ?

Ok, thanks for that. If the serial doesn't work, you will indeed need to contact Adobe. But here are some things to try first.
1. Does it refer to a QUALIFYING PRODUCT? If so, enter the serial number of the OTHER product, not the one you just paid for.
2. If you are copy/pasting the serial, try typing it. If you are typing it, try copy/pasting it.
3. Make sure what you purchased matches what you downloaded. For instance, check you didn't buy Acrobat Standard and try to install Acrobat Pro. Or that you didn't buy a Mac product for use in Windows. And so on.

I just bought the full version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac as a download. I installed it, but it does not recognize the serial number which Adobe sent me!! Does anyone know a solution to this bizarre problem?

The only Acrobat package I had previously is the TRIAL version of Acrobat Pro XI ...

You won't be able to install your original Acrobat 7 at all, or use your original serial number. The server which used to allow this was switched off.
But assuming you have a compatible system, like Mac OS 5 or Windows XP, licensed users of Acrobat 7 can download a replacement and get a replacement serial number.

Full version of Acrobat interfering with newer Reader-only version

Hi,
Our office manager has a full version of Acrobat (v. 6) installed on Windows XP machine. She has also installed Reader v. 9 - it USED TO WORK - but she also had a virus earlier this year and got a cleaned-up system.
Now, when she tries to open a pdf file to the Reader, there's an error message about Version 6 is too old to view pdf files (usually these are ones she's trying to read off the web) and it closes.
Any work-arounds?

Acrobat and Reader will co-install using the current versions, but Acrobat 6 is too old to completely support the control of file associations - whichever package was installed last will take control of the PDF file type and in your case it sounds like Acrobat 6 won that battle. To get PDFs opening in Reader by default you'll have to manually reassign the file type in Windows Explorer's menu or uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader so it becomes the last registered application.

I want to buy Adobe Acrobat XI Pro full version, but I don't know what the difference is between limited access to online services offered by the full version and the full access that's offered by the month-to-month version. The retail version of Acrobat costs around US449$ and the monthly subscription is available for a very nominal fee of 19.99$ per month.
The software is the same and there's no difference between the functionality of Acrobat except that in the retail version you have a serial number to permanently activate the software whereas in subscription Acrobat validates the license very month to check if the subscription is active or not.

Acrobat 9 Pro. will not accept installation on 2nd computer in full version but only trial or buy a new license; comuter crashed with harddrive; could not deactivate; this is a new computer to replace the old, but now Acrobat refuses to accept it.

Using a single user license, you can activate Acrobat on maximum two computers.
You need to first deactivate Acrobat from the first machine and then activate it on the second machine using the same serial number.

Full Version of Adobe Acrobat X standard?

This might be a stupid question but I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere and I am only lightly familiar with Adobe products. I have a user who has never had a previous version of Adobe Acrobat Standard installed but does have the free reader installed. Do I need a 'Full' version of Acrobat X Standard or will the upgrade work? I ask because it doesn't seem that the Adobe site even lists a full version of the software, only the upgrade version. I have however seen full versions available for twice the price at a small number of online sites. Adobe really needs to clear up this confusion.

PDF without full version of ADOBE Acrobat (Smart Forms)

I try to generate a smart forms document as pdf-file by successfully using the otf-converter and afterwards the pdf-viewer.
Because of company rules only ADOBE Acrobat 7.0 Elements and ADOBE Acrobat 7.0 Reader are installed and we are not allowed to install the full version of ADOBE Acrobat.
Now the pdf-viewer methods generate error "did not find ADOBE application to display PDF documents".
Can anybody help?
