Acrobat generates two copies

Whenever I use my Acrobat 7.0 Professional to generate a pdf, it brings up two copies of it upon completion. I looked in my Prefereces but did not see any settings that could have caused this. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you! From the start, I have put password protection on the PDF. The problem is I cannot print (send to my CD drive)after I put the password protection on. I thought that I would be asked for my password so I could print the file but that does not happen.
Maybe I have other problems.
I do very much appreciate your time and I know there is something simple I am overlooking.

I downloaded some music but there's two copies of each song showing up on the phone but not on itunes or anywhere else.

I recently downloaded songs off of itunes on my computer. usually i don't do this because i think its a pain in the *** to connect my iphone to the computer but since i had recently updated it with icloud and the new ios software i figured i could do it just this once. well anyways i downloaded some songs on the PC i have and everything was going well up until i was about to connect the iphone to sync the songs. for some reason i remembered about icloud and i looked up the songs on my phone and sure enough there they were i clicked on them to see if they would play but they wouldn't so i just connected the phone to the computer after everything had synced i found that there was now two copies of the each song i had just bought. at first none of the songs would play but then i connected my phone to wifi and i think this is when the icloud came to into work because now one song will play and the other wont. it annoys me because its not showing whether i double bought the songs or if its some kind of stupid glitch. i dont think i double bought them though because theres no double copies showing up on itunes. i just want to know how to fix this because its annoying to have two copies of the song when one doesnt even play. could anyone please help?

Apple does not respond to these forums but users do. You can sync both devices to the same computer using the same itunes account. After initial setup you can pick and choose what apps you want on your devices. I have an iphone, ipod touch and ipad that I sync to the same computer and account. I have different apps, music, photos, etc on each. The key is one computer, one itunes account and you will be fine.

Do you need to do that just for these two sequences but not for other sequences? I don't see a problem to use SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError. Create this callback in both sequence files and configure them to log into the same file. SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError callback is called after each step of the sequence file if it has runtime error. You can access the calling step error information via RunState.Caller.Step.Result.Error property. Take a look to attached example.
The "other way" is useful if you need to log errors not for every step of the sequence file, but for some of them. This is more complex, because you need to create a custom step types for these steps. For the custom step you can create substeps (post-step in your case) which will be executed every time after step of this type executed. Then, this is you job to determine if error happened in the step, acces to step's error information is via Step.Result.Error property.
Also, be aware that step's post-expression is not executed in case of error in the step.

Can you have two copies of Encore CS6 running on the same computer?

I'd love to be able to have two copies of Encore on the same computer. While one copy is encoding and burning, I'd love to get another project started and encoding on the same computer and maybe, if possible, even start burning to a separate external burner. But first, I'd love to just be able to have two copies of Encore open on the same computer. I tried copying the Encore CS6 folder to a different drive and then running it but it says there's another Encore in session and this may cause issues with the hardware.

I can't imagine Encore being able to run 2 instances.
Build from Encore to an image (iso), and get ImgBurn. You can run multiple instances of ImgBurn and burn as many DVD/BDs as you have burners (including externals via USB or whatever). Send him a donation; his product is fantastic.

Two copies of iTunes on one computer?

A pretty stupid problem, but I can't figure it out. It appears that there are two copies of iTunes on one of our computers--or at least, iTunes somehow displaying two different profiles. If I have "start iTunes automatically" checked, when I connect the iPod, iTunes opens, and it shows the location of the Library file as on the workstation's local HD. Conversely, if I use the shortcut icon on the desktop to open iTunes, it points to a Library location on a network shared drive (which is where I want it to be).
I cannot for the life of me figure out where the two copies, if they exist, of the iTunes.exe file are located. The Properties for the shortcut iTunes icon is grayed out in the "find Target" box. I can find one copy of iTunes in the local c:\Programs\iTunes folder. Control Panel Add/Remove Programs list shows only one iTunes program. Is there any way to figure this out?

Ahh, thank you! What a pain in the neck. I figure I must have been signed into his account at some other point in time, maybe after... watching a movie..? [Though, that'd be the iTunes store, right? Not the App Store.] Anyway, some situation must've occured where I absentmindedly updated and iPhoto is now tied up with his account.
I'll go ahead and contact support to see if they can get me sorted. I suppose I can just ask him for his password, but.. oh, you know, it's a temporary solution and I guess I was just hoping to easily get iPhoto properly associated with myself again. Thank you!

In my iTunes library there are 2 albums which appear to be duplicated on my iPhone.
In my iTunes library there is only one copy of the following two albums...
1. Armin Van Buuren - Imagine (11 tracks)
2. Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (10 tracks)
Yet on my iPhone these 2 albums are duplicated.
When viewing on the iPhone in coverflow, the albums appear as...
1. Armin Van Buuren - Imagine (11 tracks)
2. Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (10 tracks)
3. Armin Van Buuren - Imagine (11 tracks)
4. Armin Van Buuren - Shivers (10 tracks)
Even stranger, when viewing in Album view (phone held in potrait mode) one album appears 3 times...

See One cover, too many tracks and One album, too many covers. A tiny spelling discrepancy in the Artist or *Album Artist* field is making one part of the iPod app see two copies of the album, the *Greatest Hits* "bug" then gives each copy of the album all of the tracks rather than just those with the matching value of Artist/Album Artist.

Can I edit one project on two computers with external drive and two copies of software?

I have two copies of premiere elements. One on IMac and one on Macbook. Video files on external drive. I want to be able to edit same project on both. I originally started the project on macbook but IMac doesn't see the exsisting project. Can I do this? thanks for the help

The matter of the sign in/trial version has happened to me from time to time with Premiere Elements (I worked with Windows). I supply
the requested information and that usually takes care of that message for a long while.
What is the status of the issue now with the MacBook Pro to iMac projects? Is that matter restricted to just one project from MacBook Pro to iMac?
If so, on this particular one, did you try the Project Archiver/Copy Project workflow in MacBook Pro?
As for the error message...I am not a Mac user, and consequently I am not sure I am interpreting the following correctly. But take a look to see if any of it applies

Can I run two copies of FrameMaker at the same time?

I am trying to learn Structured FrameMaker. Is it possible/legal/safe to start two copies of FrameMaker on my PC at the same time?
Specifically I want to have one copy open in Structured FM to experiment and the other copy in Unstructured to take notes on what I am learning. I am trying to see if I understand the concepts by writing up a tutorial but I do not want to be locked into structured mode when do not have a template which covers all of my needs ( I am still figuring them out) and I do not yet really understand what the structured templates do.
Will the documents save by the rules of the window they are in? What other problems will/could I encounter?

Marjorie,<p>If your machine has sufficient disk space and memory, yes, you can run multiple copies of FrameMaker at once. To run the different user interfaces at the same time, you'd have to start both copies. Then, change the user interface in one copy. Since the change doesn't take affect until you restart FrameMaker, shut down that copy and start a new one (leaving the first user interface in effect in the other original copy.<p>All that said, I suspect you can do the testing you want in one copy of FrameMaker, using the Structured FrameMaker user interface. The structured user interface simply means you can work with structured documents; you can also work with unstructured documents. Each document is independently structured or unstructured; in fact, each flow is independently structured or unstructured. You might therefore consider using the structured user interface and opening one structured and one unstructured document in a single copy of FrameMaker. Or create a single document with side-by-side flows and put structured content in one and unstructured content in the other.<p>Just remember that some of the dialog boxes are slightly different in the two user interfaces. For example, the marker, anchored frame, insert table, and cross-reference dialog boxes all let you select an element tag. Since there are no element tags in an unstructured flow, the element tag text boxes in these dialog boxes shows <Unstructured>. If you are willing to ignore these differences, I recommend you do your experimentation in a single copy of FrameMaker.<p>--Lynne

My user folder has disappeared from my hard drive though if I do a find for it it says it is still there. Anyone know how to restore it. I can drag a duplicate from the find window onto the hard drive but don't want two copies with one hidden.

Did you update to 10.9.3?
If you did then update to iTunes 11.2.1.
That is the fix for that problem.

HP Laserjet CP1025nw Color Printer - printer prints two copies when only one is requested.

pcwizard (HP) requested that I try Foxit Reader 5.1 to see if the printer will print properly. I used the same previous document and printed it with Foxit Reader 5.1. The printer printed two copies when only one was requested as it had done in the past. We still have a problem.
I am using Windows 7 (64 bit) for OS. I have experience the issue on two different computers.

CP1025nw won't print wirelessly; two copies of printer appear in the network!

My two Macs running Mountain Lion (10.8) won't print wirelessly to the HP CP1025nw. HP Setup Assistant can't find the printer after it's set up wirelessly. The computers see the printer wirelessly when I try to add it, but there are TWO copies of the printer, and they won't print. Sometimes they seem to think the printer is already in use, possibly because there are two copies.
The printer prints fine through USB, though.

Same issue here, the CP1025nw can't print multiple copies UNLESS the user is a local administrator; which in this domain environment is not allowed. So another solution must be found.
The common answer is to adjust the "mopier mode" however this driver does NOT allow for that to be changed. The universal drivers typically do have the mopier setting but I could not find any compatible colour universal 64bit drivers that would work with the CP1025nw.
Even tried finding something in group policy and/or printer permissions, still no luck.
Please help!
