Acrobat is closing after 8 seconds

Acrobat Pro and Reader will only stay open for 8 seconds or less. Which is fine if you're riding a bull but for reading documents not to great. I downloaded and ran the license fix three times following the directions for rebooting in between and it still doesn't work.
Need this resolved asap.

You need to provide system information! The blindfold guess would be that a security tool is shutting down anything to do with PDF because they are "evil" as per the virus scanner's or whatever logic, but without any more info nobody can be halfway certain...

Does Acrobat closes itself after few seconds or the PDFs?
Do you get any specific error message when it unexpectedly quits? What is it?

When I open my apps on my iPhone 5s it is closing after 5 seconds?

When I am opening my apps on my i Phone 5s they are closing after 5 seconds. Apps like facebook, Email, Watsapp and alot more, I can't even delete pictures because they app is only closing when i try to delete them. Please i need help!!!

There is no need to reinstall the apps, that is simply a waste of time.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Creative cloud acrobat closes doc after 20 seconds

The acrobat will close after 20 to 30 seconds after opening a pdf document. the application used to work but now does this every time. Anyone have an answer? its on a PC with win7 64 bit lots of ram and did work fine until today.

Please navigate to C:\Program Files (X86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache and rename Cache file inside the Cache folder.
and rename it to Cache.db_old
Launch Photoshop (or any Creative Suite Product installed) and Click on 'Help' > 'Deactivate'.
Close it and open Photoshop again to activate.
Sign in using your Adobe ID
Now, please try to launch Acrobat and try to use and check if it works fine. If prompts Trial, then serialize Acrobat again.
Else, Try to launch Acrobat X, and instantly click on Help -> Check for updates see if Acrobat attempts to download the latest version 10.1.3, if it's downloaded successfully. Install the patch and check if Acrobat works. Alternatively, click on Help -> Repair Acrobat installation.

Acrord32info.exe closed after 30 seconds

when i open a pdf file in IE, a plugin of adobe (acrord32info) is loaded and when i close the pdf file in IE,
the plugin (acrord32info) is killed after 30 seconds.
i have to open a lot of pdf file and i lost 3 seconds each time to load the plugin because the delay between
each open is more than 30 secondes (about 1 minute).
is it possible to increase this delay to kill this plugin (after 5 minutes for example) ?

Nat tunnel for SIP closing after 933 seconds.

Hello.
We have a OS X Server 10.6.8 that acts as a nat gateway and firewall to our network. Through it I have opened tunnels to an IPECS ip-telephone system, everything works fine, except that it appears to close tunnels after 933 seconds. So, if I have an active call it will terminate after exactly 933 seconds. I cannot find anything in any log or anywhere in the documentation to explain this behaviour.
Any help or confirmation of this behaviour would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please get a SIP debug capture of this event happening?
The following command is dangerous and should only be run for a short period of time as it can crash the system from overloading it, but it will be very helpful in assisting with the diagnosis.
Step-1:
Turn monitoring on the terminal "term mon" if you are using a console cable it is on automatically
Step-2:
debug CCSIP all
The above is what will crash the system if you leave it on too long, do no more than say 2-3 calls, also make sure putty has at least 2000000 lines in the settings so that way you can copy all to clipboard and post it in a text file.
Once you have this captured in a text file, please upload that file up here so we can see it

Acrobat stops showing after 5 seconds.

Our version of arobat reader stops showing after 5 seconds when we open an element on our company website.
Is it the software that is the problem or the element on the website.
Below is our website: If you go to it and click on the link "100% recycled", a pdf opens up. On our computer it stops working after 5 seconds or so.

I had to reinstall Abode CS3 Web Premium. Why is Acrobat 8 closing after a few seconds on Mac Os X 10.6.8, when it used to perform perfectly?

I've searched through the web and this seems to be a recurrent problem that affects various versions of Acrobat. I've reinstalled Adobe Web Premium after a clean re-installation of Mac OS X 10.6.8.
Acrobat 8 used to work fine, but now it closes after a few seconds - no crash, just closes. I tried to clear the preferences folder and I had to introduce the serial number again. When I re-entered it, it says it's not a valid number, although the number works fine on Photoshop.
How can I solve this?

When I open mail on my iPad it's closing after two seconds...

Does anybody know what's going on with that?

Try this:
• Turn the iPad off and on again (hold the sleep/wake button for about 3 seconds until a red slider appears with the label "slide to power off")
• If it din't help, try a hard reset - hold the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously for about 6 seconds, until the iPad tunes off. Then turn it on again.
• Go to "Settings - General - Reset" and choose "Reset All Settings"
• Remove the Mail accounts (one by one) and check again, if it is fine then try to install again.

Acrobat XI Pro automatically closes itself with no messages etc. after few seconds

I don't know why but my Acrobat XI Pro (11.0.0) automatically closes itself (with no warning, no messages etc.) after few seconds. I installed the AXI as a part of the CS6 Master Collection on my Windows 8 (x64) laptop. Just as suggested at some other posts in the forum:
I checked the "security settings (enhanced)" tab but the protected view option is already off.
I searched for the eula.exe under the "Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0" folder but there is no eula.exe. May it be not present because I installed it as a part of CS6 Master Coll. package?
I am using Eset Endpoint Antivirus as a third party Anti Virus Software.
The problem occurs when:
I open up a pdf file from outlook etc.
I manually open a pdf file from windows explorer
I open adobe acrobat with no file to view
As I mentioned above, I see no error messages or warnings during the closing down. It acts as if I clicked the close button on the top right corner. I know that there are a lot of posts in the forum about this issue, but none of them helped me to solve my problem. I would be glad if you can help me with this problem.

Hey i was having this issue also with Adobe Acrobat pro... it only seemed to be affecting one program that produced PDF output automatically. When the processes finished the PDF is supposed to be displayed and instead it would rapidly flash across the screen and close. THen i would have to hunt for the PDF to review its content. I tried a couple of things like deleting my preferences for acrobat C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0. You might have to show hidden files. In the explorer window select Organize-> Folder and search options-> once that opens view -> check show hidden files, folders and drives. then navigate that path above. Make sure adobe is closed then delete everything in there or move it off to another folder if your worried it will break it further.
That did not fix the problem though. I opened the application and ran my process again same results (adobe closes pdf auttmagically). so i opened adobe acrobat and navigated to Edit -> Preferences -> look under the General tab and click the select default PDF handler and that seemed to fix my problem. I also disabled the enhanced security look further down in that list under security enhanced. then a reboot so it is possible that the enhance security setting was the cause i think i will play with that for a minute to see if it was but i think my issue was the default handling. good luck

You have an activation issue. When you launch the program it is going out to check on activation. This is failing and so the program closes. The solution to your issue most likely lies in the TechNote below:

Are you sure it's crashed and not 'temporarily-frozen'?
I'm having this issue with Acrobat 9, in which it launches and runs long enough to page down two times and then stops responding for about 30 seconds.

I am having the same problem and following your "repair method" does not resovle the problem. It keeps on bouncing me back to the email icon on the home screen.
Do you know WHAT and WHICH is the culprit? What mechanism is causing this problem?

Failure to down load CC Acrobat DC Pro for a second time after a system recovery

Failure to down load CC Acrobat DC Pro for a second time after having to perform a system recovery.
The previous 'DC Pro' is not showing as not being an installed program.
When trying to perform the update again an error shows in the Creative Cloud window 'the download appears corrupt please try again in a few minutes(26).
Trying again both in a few minutes and after a restart the same error message shows again.
What next?

check the dl'd file size vs expected file size to see if you're getting a completed download.
also, you can try a different browser and/or different wired connection and/or a download manager.
