Acrobat Livecycle need help

I am having a problem with Adobe Livecycle 8.2.1 i create a form then choose distribute the form has a email submit button but when user clicks submit my email I get this screen and it tells me if the user would like to submit the form via Desktop application or internet email on the internet email it tells me
"You will need to fill out the form and save it and manually send it to [email protected]"<<<<< Where do I change this [email protected] it's driving me crazy because thats not the right email address

Since the Distribute feature is part of Acrobat (not LiveCycle), this is a good place to post. You can change the email return address under Edit > Preferences > Identity panel.

Acrobat Error - need help! - Acrobat 9 Pro

When I try to open an acrobat files my it trys to Open EVERY acrobat file on my computer and does so until I get the following message
"There was an error opening this document. The maximum number of files are already open. No other files can be opened or printed until some are closed"
Then I have to force quit.
This just started happending a few months ago

What version of OS X? Some people have luck by clearing their caches. This can be done with Applejack in 10.5. Onyx will work in SL.

Hi,
I'm going a bit crazy over Adobe Acrobat. I'm quite sure I have the compatible version for 8.6 and for Netscape 7.02.
It's seriously frustrating. When I try to open a PDF it goes to the intended PDF website but the screen's blank. Nothing downloads, and more than occasionally there's a scary freeze.
If you could help, I'd really appreciate it. I found some directions that I need to download or at least open.

PS It's probably version 3.01. That's the newest, most recently modified file of it. I also probably have more than one version. Could that be the problem--I'll try deleting older versions; no, moving them. I'm afraid to delete them in case I need them.

More than likely this is caused not by your version of Acrobat, but rather by the creators level of compatibility. PDF files have to be told to be compatible with pdf 1.3 (Acrobat 4 or earlier) or they simply are created for the creators current level. A major change happened with pdf's when they changed from version 4 to 5. These changes involved fonts, licencing and transparancies. None of the changes are supported by Acrobat 4 or earlier versions. You will need to upgrade to OS 9.1 or 9.2.2 for Acrobat 5.5 to work. Acrobat 5 was very glitchy and patches brought it to 5.5 within a few months, but at least it supports most of what is being created and written from version 6 and 7 (don't know about 8 yet, I have not even tried to use it)

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Freezes & Shuts Down - I need help.

I am running Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows XP and recently I started getting messages that say "Please wait while document is prepared for reading" and then AA9 freezes and eventually shuts down. Need help with Java Script to perform a calculation in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 form

I have a form (test) that I am creating in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.
I need help creating custom Java Script so I can get the desired answer.
1) There are several questions in each group that require a numerical answer between 0-4
2) There is a total field set up to sum the answers from all above questions
3) The final "score" takes the answer from Step 2 above and divides by the total possible answer
Any help on what Java Script I need to complete this would be greatly appreciated!
I've attached a "spreadsheet" that shows it in more detail as well as what formulas I used in Excel to get the desired end result.

My computer recently crashed and I need help redownloading Acrobat X Pro. Tried "Download" under My Orders to no avail. Suggestion?

Need help downloading Adobe Acrobat X Pro

I purchased Adobe Acrobat X Pro & have an empty disc cover, i cannot locate the disc and need to reload teh software to my PC after a system refresh. I cannot locate the dowload under My Order History or My Download History. Can anyone assist?

Not it’s XI, but I was told it would accept it, it seems I’ve been misled?

You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

I need help with reviewing in adobe acrobat professional 8.0 for windows.
When I click in Edit->Preferences->Reviewing I choose Network folder and in browse button I select the network folder.
It´s ok, but when I restart the computer, the configuration of reviewing dissapear.
Any sugestion for solve this problem?

which I got from another thread. It works, but the result tends to have a - before the number. Also when I use the formatting in acrobat and select percentage the decimal placement gets confusing. I'm creating this form for a bunch of morons in my HR department so extraneous numbers makes them confused. I need the most simplified result possible.

Open the file in Acrobat, use File --> Save As... --> Microsoft Word.

If it is Win 7 or later, the Adobe PDF printer for AA 7 will not install and AcroTray will not function. You will have to install a PS driver from Adobe or maybe an HP color PS printer driver. Then edit the driver properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and the port to FILE. You will always have to do an extra step in creating PDFs by opening the file that is created in Distiller to get the PDF.
If you are talking about Win 8, you may not be successful at all. If you got Acrobat and Distiller to install, then there is a chance.

I've learned something. New. This must be recently changed. That last time I clicked on a Link I though was a dmg file and turned out it was and exe file my Macs wouldn't allow me to do so. But haven't tried recently everytime and exe file comes up I cancel. I gues I am used to the time everytime a Virus or some other nasty was downloaded it was packaged in and exe file and Macs owuldn't allow it. I suppose with the INtel guts now they can no longer refuse to download.
