Acrobat PDF Maker sending old mail merges.
I am using the Acrobat Add-In in Word 2007. Earlier in the week I sent a PDF mail merge and now that I have created a new PDF merge, for some reason the program is randomly adding old email messages and sending them again. How do prevent this from happening? Even if I select only one record for a test, the program sends three or four old messages again and it seems kind of random how it is picking the sendees and what old email merge it sends again incorrectly. The program did send my new message but it also is sending old stuff. I tried changing the folder I was saving the new messages to but it still sent out messages that were saved in the "default" folder "WZU3R435" the program created. I even tried to find that folder so I could delete its content but I can't find it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
General Acrobat Problem Steps
If you are having problems creating a PDF, there are two steps you should do FIRST
Go to the appropriate vendor web site and apply all updates to the program you are using (several recent messages have concerned problems with MS Office conversion, with the response that different versions of Office have different BUGS that must be fixed by a download from Microsoft - and MS Office products are not the only ones which may, from time to time, need to be updated to work properly)
Apply all updates IN NUMBER ORDER

さて今回の相談は、上記のアプリケーションにてPDFファイルの作成を試みましたがうまくいきませんでしたので、問題点もしくは改善策を教えていただきたく思います。
まずイラレの場合、[ファイル]/[別名で保存]を選択しダイアログボックスにてファイル形式をPDFに選択すれば問題なく作成できるのですが、[ファイル]/[プリント]でAdobe PDFプリンタ(仮想プリンタ)を選択し実行しても作成できませんでした。というのも、プリントキューを開きモニターしているとジョブが常に一時停止の状態なのがわかります。[ジョブの再開 ]ボタンを押してもすぐに停止に切り替わります。従ってジョブが完了されません。
またOffice Wordでドキュメントを作成し、一発で作成できる[PDFに変換]ボタンを押します。すると自動的に仮想プリンタのAcrobat PDF Makerが立ち上がりますが、これも完了できず進捗状況90%のところでアイドリングが続きます。
いずれの症状を鑑みても仮想プリンタに不具合があるのではないかと自分では思ってしまっているのですがいかがでしょうか。それともそもそもMac OS 10.5とAcrobat 7.0 Proとの組み合わせがまずいのでしょうか。自分では判断がつきかねます。どうかご教示願います。気になる点があるので。

Illustrator のファイル保存でPDF形式を選んでPDF化する機能は、llustratorが単体で持っている機能であってAcrobatとは無関係のはず。
llustrator単体のヘルプにPDF保存の方法が書かれているのでは? ヘルプで調べることはしていますか?

IllustratorのPDF保存化機能はAdobe PDF Libraryで実現されているはず。作成されたPDF文書のプロパティを見れば、それがわかる。
InDesign なども単体でPDF化機能をもっている。

Each Time I send a mail merge, Thunderbird freezes
Hey guys,
When I send a mail merge email, Thunderbird Freezes and I have to close it. This has been happening for the last two days.
I get that spinning colour wheel and I am not able to check the amount of messages that have been sent or the amount of time the mail merge has lasted.
Thanks for the help.It is a bug that existed in Mt Lion for a while (and was fixed) that has returned. We can hope that when Apple releases 10.9.1 that's one of the things that gets fixed.

Acrobat PDF Maker -- Mail Merge (WORD 10)
I am mail merging from a three tab excel. While using the second tab to drive the merge I selected "Automatically send...by email" however, the "To:" field does not tie to the excel tab I am working from. (just sent a bunch of emails to the wrong folks and needed recall...) How do I drive the "To" field from my desired tab and column?

Can I edit an Adobe Acrobat .pdf attachment in Mac Mail before I hit send?
I have numerous .pdf approval sheets that I attach to a client’s ad in order for each client to approve, sign and fax back to me. I have many different .pdfs made up with only different counties the client will advertise in already in the .pdf. Now the publisher wants the name of each client to appear on each sheet (I have 130 clients). Is there a way of editing the text (to add client name) in .pdf attachment before hitting send in Mac Mail? I don’t want to have to redo so many different .pdf approval sheets each time in order to keep changing just client’s name on the .pdf.

Smartform output to pdf and send through mail
Hi,
I am able to save the output of the smartform as pdf file and able to send the pdf as attachment in mail.
But the problems are -
1 - As i have set the field - 'X' TO ls_control_param-getotf.
I am unable to view the print preview of the billing document and no spool is getting displayed. I want to see the print preview and create a spool and also generate a pdf file.
2- I am using the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send the mail of the pdf file. But i am getting the message like
"Cannot extract the embedded font 'FranklinGothalicITCBook'. Some charactersmay not display or print correctly" followed by "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly".
Pls help me in resolving the issues.

Hi,
I installed Adobe Creative suite 3 Premium on Widows Vista....then upgraded to Windows 7,...never had any problems.
Today Adobe Update Advisor downloaded and installed some updates to Adobe Professional 8 (that came in a package with Adobe CS3 premium)....since then (it has been 3-4 hours), I cannot convert any document into PDF using ANY application MS Office 2007, as a Printer in browser...etc..
The error message says:
"Missing PDF Maker Files.
Do you want to run installer in repair mode?"
I clicked on Yes, then waited, then restarted my PC, and that didn't solve the problem"
Adobe Support (a very unfriendly guy) told me that AdobeProfessional 8 support for Windows 7 is not available and that I can either upgrade to Adobe 9 (no way, I paid way too much money for Adobe CS3), refer to Adobe Forum, or reinstall Adobe CS3.
Can someone tell me how to solve this problem without reinstalling the whole CS3?

When I check SOST transaction I see the e-mail but the body content I cant see and the attachment I cant open.
The same logic was working in version 5.0 (now we're in 6.0). But it was using content_bin parameter which is obsolete now, from now we need to use to content_hex parameter.

Bookmarks created for elements not selected in Acrobat PDF Maker
I recently upgraded to Windows (7 64-bit) and Word 2007 (SP2 MSO). I am using Acrobat 9 Pro (9.3.3) to convert a Word document to PDF. The bookmarks created in the PDF document are for all Word Heading styles (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5). However, on the Bookmarks tab of the Adobe PDF Maker, I only selected 3 heading styles (H1, H2, H3) for bookmarks. I did not have this problem using Word 2003 and Acrobat Pro 9.
I searched this forum and I have found reports of similar issues, but no resolution. I also found a thread back in 2009 where a response suggested this is a bug and provided a link to report it. I have not found any information confirming this is a known issue and if there is a resolution in the works.
Are there settings in MS Word I need to consider? I've looked at all of the conversion settings in Adobe PDF Maker and nothing seems obvious.

logically, all of the toolbars items (view menu) in Word should only appear if you ask for them
since nothing at microsoft seems to be logical, the "adobe pdf maker" toolbar appears constantly when you open a file so that you then have to throw it away to keep it from using up and cluttering the screen

You haven't stated the version of MS Office you are using, but the following instructions, written with Office 2004 in mind, will also work for Office v.X.
How to remove the PDFMaker toolbar in MS Office applications
The PDFMaker toolbar launcher is saved in an application-specific directory for each Office application. The general format of the directory path is:
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/office_application
Therefore, to remove the PDFMaker toolbar from MS Word, trash the PDFmaker file found in the directory:
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Word/
Do likewise for Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Note that Adobe Acrobat automatically checks the state of its features — like PDFMaker — when it is launched. Depending on the version of Acrobat you have installed, it may try to replace these files after you have deleted them. Adobe Acrobat has a "Do not ask again" option if it offers to "repair" these files
Note that the same instructions work under Office v.X.

I have created a custom PO SAP scirpt for the tcode ME23N and configured the same in tcode NACE Application 'EF' , output type 'NEU'
But the client requirement is to send this SAP Scipt PO converted to pdf & then send thru email to the user who created PO (ME23N)?
How do u get this functionality please let me know?

that is easy, you only need to keep the steps to do in mind:
1) find a suitable point to place in your code to do all this for you
2) create a FM that will convert your form into PDF (search a little, this has been done like zillion times here)
3) create a FM that will send the PDF stream (hex data which is accepted by the BCS class as the attachment data)
4) check the email customizing in your system
5) run and enjoy
All the parts has been done here many times, shouldn´t be a problem.
