Acrobat Pro XI - can't find the trail in my programs

I followed instructions, never got the last screenshot shown. I went through every step, even repeated them, still no icon on my desktop nor does it appear in my programs. What am I not doing?

I am using Windows 7.
I did a full reboot, then I went to the control panel list of programs and it was not there. I opened the Download assistant for the third (maybe 4th) time and went through the process again. This time the "Set up" window opened which had not happened at the conclusion of the download process the last times I tried it I have no idea if it was a glitch in my system, or your process.
Yep, it totally worked this time, I have an icon on my desktop and on the start menu. Thank you for your help, Regardless of what it was, the forum being available helped me get through the process! Nice set up!

Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
Do you have any idea how to get rid of this annoying pop-up? I searched for that file name on Google, but nothing came up.
This only started happening after the Scareware program, Open Cloud Security, infected my computer a few days ago. My wife got into my registry to remove Open Cloud, but now I am left with this annoying Firefox problem. I have to close the annoying window TWICE to get back to Drudge.
This happens 6 times per hour.

Hi: Please click on the device in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. Post the top string of characters you see. Those will identify the type and model of the missing device and I can send you the link to the drivers. It is either your AMT driver, TPM driver or IMEI driver. In Acrobat Pro XI, can I limit the form I created to "fill in and print," with no saving or signing?

I created a fillable form from a word doc using Acrobat Pro XI.
When I look at the form in Acrobat Pro, I see the following at the top of the form:
If I look at the form on a computer running just Adobe Reader, this is what displays at the top:
I just want users to fill out and print this form. The instruction that Adobe Reader is giving is confusing. Can I modify those instructions, or change the file properties of my form somehow to limit to "fill out and print?"
I don't recall encountering this before in earlier versions of Acrobat.

Finally figured it out -- if I view the form directly in Adobe Reader (over our network), I see the confusing message about "Click 'Sign' to fill out..."
BUT, if I open the form within a web browser (IE, Firefox, etc.), I see the usual message: "Please fill out the following form. You cannot save data typed into this form. Please print..."
It is doing what I expected; I just wasn't viewing it in the usual manner. Users will be seeing this form via a web browser, so problem solved.

I can delete this window, but it keeps recurring, sometimes within 5 - 10 seconds.

Acrobat 8 Professional can't find the scanning device when creating the second page of the PDF file

Hey guys, this is my first post here, so please excuse me if there is anything I need to know.
I am a Mac User and I have the whole CS3 suit installed.
Everything works just great except there is this little thing bugs me around.
When I try to use Acrobat Professional 8.0 to create a PDF file through my scanner, (samsung SCX-4725FN, it's scan/print/fax combined) I wouldn't be able to continue to scan to the second page. To be more specific, I have no problem to scan and create the first page of the PDF file, when it asks me if I want to scan and create another page, when I confirmed it, I wouldn't be able to see the scanner in the "Acrobat Scan" window. The "scan" botton stay faded, therefore I can't continue. If I click "cancel" and try to create another PDF file from the scanner, the smae problem will show up again. The only way that I can continue to scan is to quit the program from the menu bar and restart it, then I can start to create the next '1st page only' PDF file from the scanner. I had to do this rapidly to get all the pages scanned first, and then combine them to get my work done. This is a pain in the butt. I have downloaded the most updated scanner driver, and patched Acrobat to version 8.1.2 , but the problem still exist. I have tested the scanner with PS CS3, the scanner works just fine. So I assume there is a glitch here with the software. Can anyone help me please?

I am not very clear at which step you are facing issue. Below is the sequence in order to scan more pages from Acrobat:
1. Launch Acrobat. Click menu File->Create PDF->From Scanner....
2. "Acrobat Scan" dialog will appear. Select your scanner installed in Scanner dropdown. Check 'Prompt for scanning more pages' checkbox as you want to scan more than one page. Click Scan button in "Acrobat Scan" dialog.
3. Now scanner UI will appear. Make setting like color mode/resolution and click Scan button(or may be Accept button) in this dialog. (This is scanner specific ui)
4. After this scanning will happen and "Acrobat Scan" dialog will appear with "Scan is Complete" and "Scan more pages" option.
5. Select "Scan more pages" option and click OK in this dialog to scan more pages.
6. Now again scanner UI will appear as in step 3 above. Make your settings and proceed.
Do you see scanner UI or "Acrobat Scan" dialog in step6? Are you not able to click Scan(or Accept) button in scanner UI?

When I open firefox, normal tabs open, then several more that all show: Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/W¨'ÂÒ×žß¬¤ïžìWv¥YH´ªï]ã9v€Õ°pÎ%0C ï½Q2. I have uninstalled/reinstalled firefox with no help.

I can use the regular tabs, but new tabs will continue to open with strange things on them. One was marked as a Dangerous page by my anti-virus program (Trend Micro).

Don't what to say but WOW! downloaded and ran malwarebytes. It found a Trojan and something else. At the same time, my Trend Micro finally ran a scan and found 2 trojans and a cycbot, both associated with Adobe. Did the superantispyware program too, found a couple things. Uninstalled reinstalled firefox without any of the old personal settings, so NO add-ons at all. Opened in SAFE MODE and the error STILL persists. Computer does not want to shut-down and I find that I can do a few things then programs won't open anymore (such as my Trend Micro antivirus and even firefox.) I have no idea how any of this happened. I know a fair amount about computers and do NOT open links etc that I am not sure about. It was working fine while using in my truck yesterday. When I brought it in the house, it started doing all this. Just plain WEIRD! Any other ideas?

I get multiple windows opening with this message. Sometimes as many as 8 or more. I first tried clearing my cache then I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it but the issue persists.
I am using Trend Micro anti virus software with their latest updates and have run a complete scan. The program tells me I do not have a virus but I suspect I do. Can anyone give me any input on this?

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.<br />

Show that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is installed on my Windows 8 computer, but I can't find the app list

I am using windows 8 and the Adobe Cloud shows that Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is installed and updated, but I can't find the app, and, when looking at my list of programs to "uninstall", I don't see it listed either. (I thought a possible solution might be to uninstall and install again)

Can't find the fullscreen option for acrobat 9 pro

In the technotes it's mentioned that an embedded movie (.mov, .mp4) in acrobat 9 pro can be played in fullscreen. I can't find the option.

You mean by clicking a control element in the video player? No, does not seem possible.
What you can do is to set the document to open in full screen, so the video will also be full screen.
