Acrobat Pro XI when installed over Acrobat 9 Pro removes LiveCycle Designer.

Acrobat Pro XI when installed over Acrobat 9 Pro removes LiveCycle Designer.  Forms Central can't open LiveCycle Designer Forms so what do you do?
I have uninstalled XI and re-installed LiveCycle Designer only.  On re-installation, I chose not to uninstall version 9 and to do a customer set up (not installing forms central).
LiveCycle is now working along with Acrobat ProXI

LiveCycle Designer is no longer distributed as part of the Acrobat release. I think it is available as a separate product. At this point, Acrobat provides the AcroForm type tools (kind of hard to get to, just as in some previous versions) and the option for Forms Central. The whole focus has changed. I suspect that others may be in the same situation of trying to get their forms to interact in Acrobat or Forms Central, but at this point I do not think there is any way to back Designer forms into either of the two current formats. Not much help, but a comment in any case.

  • Problem beim installieren von Adobe Acrobat X Pro/Problem when installing Adobe Acrobat X Pro

    Hallo,

    Hello,
I wanted to update Adobe Acrobat to X Pro. When I wanted to start the installation an error message occured. The systemrequirements aren't given.
    My systemrequirements:
OS: Windows XP Professional SP3 (32bit)
    3 Gb main memory
    Prozessor: Intel Core2-Duo
30 Gb free Hard drive space
    Internet Explorer 8 is installed
So you see the systemrequirements are given. On other PCs with the same configuration I updated Adobe Acrobat to X Pro without any problems.
Has anyone ever seen such a problem?
    Please help me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Ok, I found the problem.
On the PC Windows XP Pro SP2 was installed. Usually we've got a standard image on all our PCs with the main software like OS, MS Office and other programms. So I didn' look at the OS which is installed on this PC because on every PC is XP Pro SP3. I've got no idea why there was only SP2 on this PC.
Nevertheless many thanks for your time and your effort David.

  • Acrobat 10 Pro: Unable to Install Updates After Virus Removed: Receive Error 1310 ?

Acrobat 10 Pro: Unable to Install Updates After Virus Removed: Receive Error 1310 ?
Attempted to re-install the original Adobe Acrobat 10 Pro from the disk provided with the purchase; and it has put me in a trial; and is requesting that I purchase the software I already paid for, two years ago.

You can try a repair (may need to go to Control Panel>Programs & Features). A reinstall is a last resort, but if you go there be sure to uninstall from the control panel, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, and remove any part left of the Acrobat folder. Then reboot as the administrator and reinstall. Be sure to disable antivirus during the install.

  • Quicktime 7 Pro is not installing over Quicktime 7

I have Quicktime 7.7.6 for Windows installed on my computer.
I purchased Quicktime 7 Pro and received a registration number
I entered the registration number according to instructions
Quicktime 7 Pro did not install over Quicktime 7.
    Help!

Entering the registration merely unlocks the Pro features of QuickTime Player 7. It doesn't replace it with a different version.

  • Boot camp not recognize keyboard and mouse when installing windows 7 pro 64 bit

    Hi,
I have some issue when installing windows 7 pro 64 bit using boot camp. after done partitioning the windows drive and when boot to windows installation process, i've got stuck in the first screen when choosing the language. it seems that the keyboard and mouse are not detected.
i'm using boot camp ver. 5.0.
does anyone have similar problem with me?

I have finally successfully installed Windows 7 x64 on MacBook Air 13.3" (2013) thru Bootcamp.
Problem:  After Windows 7 install thru BootCamp, I got to the first login screen and not input devices (Mouse, keyboard, USB) worked.   I tried to boot into Windows Safemode, but I received the error  "Windows can not complete installation in Safe Mode".
Cause:  WIndows 7 does not have native USB 3.0 drivers, included on the install images.
Resolution:  I downloaded the latest device drivers with thru BootCamp and copied them to the USB Flash Drive that had my bootable Windows 7 x64 install on it.  The second option in BootCamp is "Download Support Media".  This does more than just download drivers.  It creates a file called "autoattended.xml".  This is key as it tells Windows during the install process to use the device drivers that you download.  Otherwise, you need to do it manually, which you can't because you have no mouse or keyboard.
NOTE:  I had no need of a super drive because I had all the files on one USB flash drive.  Therefore, I don't think it matter which side of the MBA the USB drive was plugged in, as other solutions suggested.

do I need to remove final cut pro 7 before installing final cut pro x

No. When you install FCP, it will move the FCS applications into a folder called Final Cut Studio.

Updated Windows RT 8 to 8.1
Uninstaled Adobe Reader Touch 1.3 and instaled 2.0 Build 84770
    Additional Information
The form was created 10 or 11 months ago, and we are pretty sure that we were able to open it a while back
The same PDF file opens just fine in Windows 8.1 using Adober Reader XI 11,0.06, it is only the app that is affected.
The document cannot be opened by any other mobile app that we have tried or on another mobile OS (iOS)
    Any ideas?
    Thanks & Regards

The user's assertion is surprising to me, but perhaps I'm missing something important. I thought the correct position was from the conclusion of my earlier post "it can't be done". Adobe state their Reader Touch doesn't support XFA (http://blogs.adobe.com/readermobile/2012/12/13/adobe-reader-for-windows-8-tablets/). Unless (see that blog entry) you changed the type of form.

  • Can't remove Acrobat 7.0 when Installing Acrobat 9.0

I must have uninstalled Acrobat 7.0 Pro improperly and so now when I go to install Acrobat 9.0 Standard the installation wizard tells me I must remove Acrobat 7.0 before installing 9.0.  As it is trying to uninstall the rest of 7.0 during the 9.0 installation, a message screen pops up telling me "Error 1714: The older version of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard cannot be removed.  Contact your technical support group".
What do I do as I have tried runnning clean script and manually removing Acrobat 7.0 as discussed in some threads in this forum but nothing seems to work. I do not seem to be able to delete the remaining files in the Program Files\Adobe\Active X directory, it tells me they "cannot be deleted, access is denied, make sure that the disc is not full or write protected or not currently in use".
Please help as I have a project deadline on Monday 7/20 and I need to produce .pdf files!!!!!

Reinstall 7 and then delete it properly. You might actually be able to do a repair if it is still in your list of programs. If you install it and it works, it might be better to use it to complete your deadline. Bad time to be changing software.

  • Error 1714 Message when Installing Adobe XI Pro

I am trying to install Adobe XI Pro, but it will not install.  The error message is 1714 - the older version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro can't be removed.  I tried uninstalling all other Adobe Programs but it will not uninstall, saying The patch package could not be opened.  Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it or contact the app. vendor to verify it is valid.  What does this mean?  How can I successfully uninstall the old version and install the new version?

    Hi Carriefromcdm,
Acrobat XI pro is the latest version of Acrobat. Please try the following Kb article and suggest if this was able to resolve the query for you or not.

  • Blue screen when installing Win XP Pro on Satellite A100-211

    Hi all.
I'm started to get really desperate here!! I've just bought my new Satellite A100-211 and now I want to install my own copy of Windows XP Professional (since the notebook ships with XP Home). But, when I try to boot from my Win Xp Pro CD (with no SP1 or SP2 integrated), i get a blue STOP screen just as the setup application reaches the "Setup is starting Windows" phase!! The STOP message states something about a file named "pci.sys".
I don't know what is wrong or how to install XP Pro!! It should be so simple! I even tried getting the SATA drivers from intel and load them at the windows XP Pro install setup (with F6) with a floppy, but I still get the same blue screen at the same stage of the setup!!
Can anybody PLEASE help me??? Can anyone explain how can I install Win XP Pro on this notebook???
Thanks very much in advance!! I'm really really freaking out with this
    Octavio.

    Hi
Did you get this error message?
    "stop error 0x7E in Pci.sys"
I have found information on the Microsoft website that you need the latest Microsoft service pack.

  • K8N Neo2-F hangs when installing Windows XP Pro

Hello, I've recently been trying to put together my first build, and I haven't had too much luck thus far.
My problem occurs when trying to clean install Windows XP Pro on my hard drives. Using either of my HDDs results in the Windows setup screen coming up, loading all the drivers, and then crapping out right before it lets me add/delete partitions. It hangs right before there, and provides me with a STOP 0x000007 BSOD error. I've tried with both my SATA and my IDE drives, and nothing seems to work. The IDE drive works fine on my old motherboard (Non SATA compatible, so I can't even test the SATA drive on it), and lets me partition the drive, so it's not the HD, and it's not the CD. The processor, mobo, SATA HD and the RAM are all new.
I've followed the guide that fafner and syar2003 have provided here, and have come up with nothing. (I only tried the first method, not the second one further down the thread).
Is there a BIOS setting that I'm missing, or what?
    Thanks in advance.

Amps on the power supply are:
    +3.3: 32A
    +5: 40A
    +12: 24A
I've tried installing windows with just the SATA drive, just the IDE, and both. I've now tried installing Windows using syar2003's advice in aforementioned thread, saw this link and tried setting the max memclock to 166Mhz, with 1 stick, or 2. Had the timings set to auto though. No dice.
No matter what, after it says "Setup is now starting Windows", it hangs, and after about 5 minutes, this BSOD comes up.

  • No bootable device issue when installing Win 7 Pro 64 with OSX 10.8.3

Trying to install Win 7 Pro 64 on brand new iMac running 10.8.3.
Using external LaCie optical drive to read Win 7 OEM DVD installer.
Using Bootcamps Assistant, I can create the Windows partition but then when the iMac restarts to insatll Windows, I get a black screen with the message No Bootable device found.
Seems the iMac is not able to boot from the LaCie external drive.
Have tested the LaCie on both a mac and a PC and it works fine.
This iMac can see the drive and its contents in OSX but can't seem to boot to it to install Win 7.
How do I get a round this?
I have done dozens of dual boots using bootcamp but all with Macs that have built in optical drives.  Have never had this much trouble.

I just got this working - finally!
My solution was to download the Win7 ISO file from microsoft and then use BootCamp Assistant to create a USB ISO.  From there, I was able to boot to that "disk" and install Windows.  I read a variety of posts some saying that you cannot use an external DVD drive, others saying that you could but it had to be an Apple SuperDrive.  In any case, the ISO download worked and I would recommend that approach.

  • HT3986 when installing win 7 pro on my macbook pro retina and win drivers that download from bootcamp the USB ports not works

please som eone help me to make the USB ports on my macbook pro retina works, as its stopped just when using win 7 pro after complete  installing the win drivers
