Acrobat Professional 9, all pages in palette not showing up

Hi,
This is really irritating. First off, let me say that Adobe's software has come down a notch with CS4. It's buggy, crashes, slow and has a host of other problems. On top of the problems, the other issue is that the new navigation sucks.
My Acrobat 9 Pro does not show all of my pages. So for example, if I have a 30 page document, the last page or two, will be below the pages palette where I can't get to them. AND there is no sroll bar to get down to them! I've attached a screenshot, if anyone else has had this problem, please help!
The document shown in the attached image has 281 pages, but you can only get to 280. See for yourself.

This is a known bug of Acrobat 9 (I'm not sure if Reader 9 has it as well). It has been reported many times to Adobe, but still no fix...

The only way to overcome this is to resize the Pages panel.

AS - all page items, access not allowed

I am upgrading an AppleScript from working with InDesign CS5.5 to CS6. When I recompile I get the syntax error:
"Can't set <<constant dpvtdppv>> to <<class aPgi>>.
Access not allowed."
My statement is a simple
"set pList to get all page items" within a tell myDoc section.
In reviewing the AS guide for InDesign CS6, the notes say that Chapter 4, covering all page items, was not changed in CS6. Page 113 of the guide phrases the statement without a "get", so my statement would be
"set pList to all page items". This fails with the same error. As my code gets plenty of use under CS5 and CS5.5, I suspect a dictionary error from Adobe.
Anyone with ideas?

ASk in the DW firum and be much more specific. Web page rendering issues are specific to specific versions of browsers and you may simply be using some bad code that messes up your page.

IWeb 08 : Album pages and Text not showing up anymore

Hey guys,
I work for a local television company and created a page for one of our shows. I have been publishing the website with no problems and then all of a sudden recently my albums pages are not showing the albums or pictures. Click here..

The pictures are on that page when I am editing in iWeb, but not when I publish or a folder or upload it to my website. Does anyone know why this would be or are having similar problems?
Also, the text on one of my pages is all out of line when I publish, but perfectly correct on my page. This page is also not showing the album I have posted. Click here...

I switched in the middle of making this website from iWeb 06 to iWeb 08, but I didn't have these problems at first, so I don't think it was the upgrade.
I did do some things with the domain (copy, save to an outside hard drive, to try to transfer it to another computer) and the problems did start shortly after that. But I didn't really mess with the domain file on my computer, so it shouldn't have created a problem.
Please fill me in ASAP if you have any insight because my boss is just as frustrated as I am!

Hi Laura,
I get a "The page can not be found" message clicking on both links.
You might try to republish/re-upload the whole page
A. If publishing to .mac go to File=>Publish All. Or try to publish to a folder and open it from there to see if it works.
B. If publishing to a folder: do they work when opening from the folder? If so reupload everything.

Yosemite Calendar - All day events are not showing

I have been using Apple Calendar for quite some time but after I upgraded to Yosemite All day events does not show in the calendar any more. Other events in my calendar is showing.
Environment:
1: I'm on Macbook Pro Retina, running Yosemite 10.10.1
2: Calendar is version 8.0 (2026)
3: I am using Google Calendar, added as account to Calendar
Problem/Bug:
This has been working fine on Maverick until this upgrade and I think it is a bug in Calendar.
1. I tried to add an all day event from Calendar, using my Google account calendar
2. Event is saved, but once saved it isn't shown in Calendar.
3. When I login to my Google account calendar, the event I created just created is shown nicely there!
I then tried adding a new calendar using my iCloud account, but same thing happened:
1. I tried to add an all day event from Calendar, using my iCloud account calendar
2. Event is saved, but once saved it isn't shown in Calendar
3. I once again try, this time by logging into my iCloud account, the event I created just created is shown!
This is really weird and a major issue as all-day events are kind of important to see when you are planning and scheduling meetings.
One additional thing, I'm not sure if it is related, I have Time zone support turned on as I am working across multiple time zones.
Anyone else that have encountered this?

I have the same proble. In all views all day events don't show up. If I search for the event, there is a result but it does not appear in the calendar.

"Mail Contents of this page" images do not show

Hi, if I do send a webpage with "Mail Contents of this page" then the images the page contains do not show up on Windows machines and some Mac's aswell. The message looks good in Mail before i send it.
Does anyone have a solution for me?

The photos are probably on your machine and the recipient can't access them. You should put your page on a server.

While navigating the pages in Menu Not showing correct jspx

We develop 10 ADF Pages and attached those pages to Menu . Now while going to page A its not showing pagA.jspx in address Bar ( though its showing correct Page ) But when navigating to PageB
its showing PAgeA.jspx in ( Address Bar ) but its showing correct pageB content . Why this behave like this ...??

This is not an ADF issue - this is a core JSF way of working.
Why would your end user care about the address anyway?
You can set your navigation case to be redirect to get around this.

All profit centers are not showing up in KCH6N

How did you load these profit centers - LSMW, ALE or manual?
If it is anything other than ALE, it will be available under the corresponding nodes when your do a expand all nodes.
If you have uploaded the profit centers in the new system through an ALE, the problem is that it updates the table CEPC directly without using the t-codes and therefore the standard hierarchy doesn't get updated. Even SAP recommends not to update the standard master data tables directly and it should be done by using the relevant t-codes either manully or through LSMW
We had such an experience and we had to reload all the profit centers through LSMW again.

Acrobat Professional 7 Document Message Bar does not display

I am running Acrobat Professional 7.0.9 on a Windows 2000 PC (HP Compaq dc7100, P4, 1GB RAM). After upgrading Adobe Reader to version 8.1.2, I can no longer create forms that trigger the Document Message Bar to display in either Acrobat or Reader. (No, the Always Hide option is not selected in my preferences in either program.) Forms I created before the upgrade still display normally. How can I fix this issue?

I had troubles with Acrobat Pro 6.0 after I installed Reader 8.1.2.
I removed the newer reader and all worked fine again. Seems I'm not missing much using the 6.0 version.

Some Pages documents do not show up in Quick Look properly

After upgrading to Yosemite, when hitting the Space button on some Pages docs to see them in Quick Look, all I get is a thumbnail of the doc next to it's title, last modification and size. This is not the issue with all Pages docs, but only with some. Other Pages docs will open in Quick Look just fine and I can scroll and read through them perfectly.
I completely don't understand why some Pages documents won't open in Quick Look, and some others do. I'm running on a 13" Retina Macbook Pro.

ABAPwebdynpro iview in EP7.0 , ESS Home Page Service is not showing up

There is a problem with my abap webdynpro iview when i assign to page and give PCD path in ESS Area page service using IMG .clicking on the service which is there in ESS homepage the iview is not loading when we refresh the iview using the options provided by that iview it is showing up .
we are using EP7.0 , created sap webdynpro abap iview
passing name space : sap and mentioned correct Application parameters ...
and hided worksets on the ESS Home Page ESS .
when i assign the iview to page and to workset -> role -> user it is showing up
only when i assign to Area page in IMG and hiding the workset in home page , iview is not loading (Refreshing).
may be if any one knows how to refresh the iview automatically using any iview properties?
please any one help me on this , how to solve this issue

Thanks a lot for ur fast response ....i tried with all options , and found the solution
that is in ESS 1.0 with EP7.0 , to create an icon with a service in ESS home page there should be a webdynpro java page , it will not accept portal page , so i created webdynpro java application and gave the pcd path of abap webdynpro iview in that , created an webdynpro iview and page along with that now it is working perfectly .
this is what i came to know after a good research ....please experts correct me if i am wrong ?

I am recieving calls from a solicitor. Show up as no caller Id. I want to block all calls that do not show caller Id. Can I do that? I am on the do not call list

How do I block all in coming calls that do not show on my caller Id. Phone says "no caller id" This particular call is from a place selling septic tank cleaner. They leave an automated voice mail. They are calling me over and over. I am on the national do not call list but that's no help. Because the caller id doesn't show anything I can't even report them.
I remember in the past calling a number and before my call would go thru I would have to enter my phone number so the party I was calling knew who was calling them. That is what I want to do. I want to block all calls from "no caller id" "number unavailable" Just FYI my phone is an IPHONE 5 and I am on Verizon.
Any help would be appreciated.
