  • URGENT: Bug in Adobe Acrobat X /// Acrobat.exe Runtime Error! R6025 - pure virtual function call

    Hello
I work usually with large PDF documents, and I was trying to convert a PDF document of 1000 pages ONE THOUSAND PAGES, to little PDF documents of 10 MB each one.
When I tried to convert the PDF file into little ones, craaashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
    I got this message:
Acrobat.exe Runtime Error! R6025 - pure virtual function call - Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
This seems to be a BUG AS BIG A GRAND PIANO... so I would like someone from Adobe tell me how may I solve this problem or if they will release an update soon?
    Thank you

  • Acrobat 7.0 Professional Runtime Error

I beg for help...  I am trying to launch my Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro application and am now receiving a runtime error message.  It says, "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.  Program C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat\Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\Acrobate.exe."  Then it crashes on me...  It was fine yesterday, now today, not loading.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled.  I always install to My Documents.
    Please help... Thank you.

    Thanks for that SimonATS
Had a look and have resolved the issue thanks to your post, I ran adobe under an admin account (which allows access due to allowing permissions on top level) ran the updates under the "Help" tab and upgraded it to 9.2, then ran perfect !
If anyone else experiences this issue would suggest running updates, but if you cant run the program full stop ! would suggest SimonATS suggestion, that will get you back up and running

  • Adobe Reader X (10.1.1) Visual C++ Runtime error - Citrix XenApp 4.5

    Error:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
I work for a large government agency, and we are experiencing the above error, but we have the added complexity of Citrix (XenApp 4.5). Most of our servers run Server 2003 SP2 Enterprise.
When you log into the server's console, a PDF from a network location launches fine, however a Softgrid package which contains a link the PDF produces the error (unless you have elevated domain privileges - and then it works fine).
Using Citrix to launch the PDF via the Softgrid package or the network drive sometimes works, but randomly produces the error. Our security team will now allow us to disable Protected Mode (from our last test, disabling Protected Mode resolved the issue).
A Procmon log of a failure to launch shows AcroRd32.exe producing an Insufficient Resources error to an IPC share on all our DFS Namspace servers. After that Reader seems to terminate.

    Hi,
Can you please let me know the following information:
    1) Is the issue exist for previous versions of Reader as well (like Reader X, Reader 9)
    2) Does your organization also use XenApp 5 or XenApp6? If yes, can you please try to reproduce the issue for the clients of those servers.
    3) Please try out the following :
-- Launch Reader10.1, Goto Edit->Preferences -> General . Un-select the option 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' and close Reader.
-- Open the PDF file which was throwing Visual Runtime error and see if the error still persists.
-- After the observation please launch Reader again and goto Edit->Preferences -> General and now select 'Enable Protected Mode at Startup' and close Reader.
(Reader should always be kept at Protected Mode as it is much more secured)
    Thanks,
    Shakti

    error:
Runtime Error! This application has requested the Runtime to
terminate it in an unusual way.
I've tried every fix I could fin on the Web including

Yep, can confirm this issue. Did not want to fork up the money to Adobe support, but they better fix this.

  • SERIOUS ADOBE ACROBAT PROFESSIONAL 8 ERROR

    Hi
I am using (or TRYING to use!) Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.
But every time it loads up I receive the following pop-up message:
"A serious error has been detected and Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional cannot continue. Please re-install the application and try again."
I click OK, and then another message appears:
    "Acrobat.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x05bf1243" referenced memory at "0x12284e88". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program"
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but the error comes back!
What can I do?? Can ANYONE help?!!

I've been watching this thread hoping to find an answer to nearly the same issue... "Acrobat Cannot Continue At This Time Until You Open Photoshop" (?)
It doesn't matter which application I open... Acrobat is worhtless and closes in roughly 5 seconds. Hard to believe Adobe's been unable to duplicate this in-house? Now I'm afraid to uninstall it and reinstall ver. 7. I already had to FORMAT my Vista install and deal with Microsoft requiring personal information before allowing me to authorize my copy of Vista Ultimate a second time, just to get Photoshop CS3 installed on my PC following the beta fiasco.
And to think I installed Vista in the first place because I wanted to be able to use Bridge 2.0....
Jeff, why couldn't there have been a list of files and registry entries to be removed posted? Some sort of procedure to help out those of us that didn't install the Photoshop beta to the default drive or directory? The WinClean tool did NOT work for me, (or several others I'm aware of).
As it looks, the same thing is happening now with Acrobat 8. Those of us with problems are out of luck after spending a lot of money on a productivity suite of tools. After all the problems I had with getting Photoshop CS3 on my computer from Creative Suite, I installed it from a stand-alone version before installing the rest of the suite to gain use of Dreamweaver, etc., (which ALSO crashes my entire system every 2nd or 3rd time I use it!).
I don't mean to be ragging on it, but I am a bit confused after using Adobe products for as long as they've been around...
    Thanks.

  • How can I block 80% of the users to use Acrobat PRO in a Citrix Environment?

    Hi,
We have a Citrix Environment with 60 users. We only have 10 Adobe Pro licenses.
How can I block the Office / IE Add-ins for the not licensed users?
We also use RES Workspace Manager. Can that give a solution?
    Thanks in advance.

I have eventually uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it.
I lost all bookmarks and passwords, but I have not (yet?) heard of VUZIT again.

  • Acrobat 9.0 Professional Runtime Error

    Hi There
I'm an IT support analyst at a large college trying to resolve this current issue with Acrobat 9.0 Professional
I have installed it on two machines on campus and i can't even get the program to load......... everytime the user click's on the icon it flags up with a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error"
Flags it up as the acrobat.exe which has the issue, when you look into the issue more it informs me saying their is an error with a specific .dll file "MSVCR80.dll". The current AppVer is 9.0.0.332 and ModVer 8.0.50727.4053. I have had a look on the forums to see if anyone else is getting an error like this and i cant seem to find anything in relation to this issue.
I have checked security permission's, cleared the users local profiles, rebuilt the machines and reinstalled it but keeps flagging up with the same issue. I dont know if anyone knows of this error or knows of a solution on how to get this resolved but any feedback at all would be grateful.
    Regards
    Mike

  • Acrobat Professional 9 error merge multiple files into one file

In  the same file I made the text boxes and then I have produced more than  one file, I then tried to merge into a single file but the software  copies the same pages of the first file.
    Let me explain:
    1) in the first file number 1 I have 3 pages, these pages I have text boxes and then I saved the file with no 2, then No. 3, then 4;
    2) I took the first file and the file I downloaded in the last 2,3,4
    3) I opened the software to control and I copied the file multiple times n. 1 just
    4) so now I have to file a repeated 4 times in a single file.
What should I do to be merged into a single file as separate files?
Perhaps  this warning is that you understand the problem, since I used the same  page by giving it a different name just because I made some text boxes  with different content, that is, the program identifies the file and  then continues to quote the same as another copy the same file, then I should change the form field for each file. How should I proceed?
Of course I followed the instructions of the notice but the thing has not changed, all the files you copy the same.

  • Getting C++ Runtime Error R6025 trying to open LC form

This is a form I created with LC 8.05/Acrobat Pro 8.1, now on my client's website at http://www.rachc.org/docs/CommonsRR4Form-Guidelines.pdf  -- is there something seriously wrong with this version of Live Cycle Designer? Or is it the current crop of Readers or 8.3 Acrobat pro? With IE the website completely freezes, but with Mozilla, just crashes acrobat. What's UP??
    MS C++ Runtime Library
    Acrobat.exe - Runtime Error
R6025 - Pure Virtual Function Call
Research on this Error shows faulty programing calls in acrobat -- is the latest versions of 8.3 and Reader causing this? If not, What then?

  • Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin for Microsoft Office 365 does not work. When I check the cox for COM Add-ins, it unchecks it. "A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in." I use Adobe X Professional. The Add-in worked fine in Office 2

I recently upgraded to Microsoft 365 Home and use Outlook 2013. The Acrobat PDFMaker Addin worked fine in Office 2010. Now, I get an error message: Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in.

I have restarted Outlook, restarted my computer, and nothing changes.
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Steve

I do not think that AA X is compatible with the newest versions of OFFICE and such. Your only choice is to print to the Adobe PDF printer or use the MS plugins to create PDFs.
