Acrobat Standard updated and now automatically starts every time computer reboots.
Adobe insisted that I update my program yesterday, so I did. But now each time I reboot my computer, Acrobat starts automatically and freezes the entire PC up. I have tried to contact Adobe support but they won't help with anything on Acrobat 7. Can someone please help me get this to stop starting by itself?
Sounds like you added Acrobat to your Startup by accident. Remove it from the list and you should be good.

Some Firefox issues can be resolved by downloading a new Firefox installer from Mozilla.com, then closing Firefox, deleting the Firefox application folder (program files) and reinstalling Firefox. If this does not help, or if you would rather completely remove Firefox and start over instead of completing all the troubleshooting steps, follow these steps:
1. Download the latest official version of Firefox from Mozilla.com.
* You should avoid unofficial download sites that bundle Firefox with other software such as the Google Toolbar.

I have an iPad 1 and after I got the latest update for keynote and Now it crashes every time I try to open it
Do you have iOS 5.1.1 on your original iPad? If not update the iOS.
You might also try quitting the app and then reset the pad.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Still no joy? Delete the Keynote app, reset the iPad and then reinstall Keynote. You will not have to pay for downloading it again. -
I recently upgraded to iphoto 11 v. 9.2 and now iphoto crashes every time I try to upload photos. I have tried to upload from my camera via usb, from my iphone, and from the memory card directly and it crashes every time. What can I do to fix this problem?
It was the folder that I trashed.

I updated to Firefox4 and at first everything seemed to run just fine, but then I tried to search for something, using Google... it crashed.I tried again, then with several other search engines... it crashed every time and took everything else with it.
I tried it with both the search bar and by manually typing in the add for the search engine. If I call up the site nothing bad happens, but it still crashes as soon as I start a search. Tried it with Explorer and Safari and everything worked ok, it's just Firefox having these problems.Hi talaimosr,

I followed instruction from a Yahoo Mail agent (in a yahoo-related issue with their mail) to clear cache & cookies on "Everything" (time range). That crashed Firefox. Now every time I reopen, it gives the error message and an option to restore or start new session, but as soon as I click on ANYTHING, it hangs.Apparently, my user profile was corrupted. If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

My upgrade failed once and now it fails every time.
whilst upgrading to iTunes 10.6.3 (from 10.6.1.7) on my Windows PC my Wifi internet connection was lost and the installation was interrupted, the program still opens and runs in 10.6.1.7 however every time i try to update it, the update fails... please help???

Windows 8 Introduction video starts every time i reboot
Hi Fellow Lenovo'rs,
Just got a x1c, and havent used it for more than a week yet. However, since yesterday, the windows 8 introduction video that plays when you make an account for the first time, "swipe left" blablabla always plays everytime i reboot my laptop. Of course, i can just alt+f4 it, but its getting quite frustrating and slowing down my boot times.
Have any of you here experienced this problem? If so, how do you fix it?

Now, Firefox shouldn't be giving an error when you start the computer, unless somehow it got placed in your startup items. Can you go to Start > All Programs > Startup and see if it is listed in there? -
2.2.1 update and now error message every few seconds
Did the update this morning. All went fine. I have never used airplane mode. So phone was not in it.
Now all I get every few seconds on the phone, even while in sleep mode, and it wakes the screen is message:
This accessory is not made to work with iphone. Would I like to turn on Airplane mode to eliminate audio interference etc… Yes/No
If I do nothing the message goes away and the iphone goes back to sleep.
I tried selecting yes. It put phone into airplane mode. But message stills comes up. Same thing when I selected No.
This error comes up every 30 seconds or so. I have tried hard restarting the iPhone hold down Home and top button until iPhone shuts down. This didn't do anything.
Anyone else having this problem?This is very weird. You can always restore the phone again in iTunes. If you have proper backups (pics, contacts, music, apps), after restoring, set it up as a new phone so there is no potentially corrupted backup getting on there. See if that works. If not, take it to the Apple Store and have them look at it.

Just installed 11.3 and now iTunes freezes every time I launch It
There's not much more to add. I've tried rebooting and for a short while iTunes was ok, and then it froze again. I have given it half an hour to see if it unfreezes, but no. I have checked in Task Manager which reports that it is 'not running'.
