Acrobat wants cloud renewal when membership already current

how do i get acrobat to run?  I downloaded it but it says I need to renew my creative cloud membership.  My creative cloud membership is already current.

A few clarifications questions. Are you on Windows or Mac? This is Acrobat X correct? Was Acrobat installed from the Adobe Application Manager via the Creative Cloud webpage? Is Acrobat the only one of your Creative Cloud porgams doing this? Had it worked before? Can you post a screen shot of the message asking you to renew?
Sorry for so many questions, just trying to make sure I get all the details to fully understand

  • Why is there an upgrade link on my adobe cloud page when I already have a full membership?

    When I log into my adobe cloud, at the top left side of the window it has three links.  One is "files", one is "Apps" and one in red "UPGRADE".  I have a full membership for at least 6 more months, and although I have the introductary price, I purchased it with the understanding that this was a full membership.  Can Adobe remove this link?  It really seams to distract me when I think I'm not getting a full version of software, and like today have wasted some valuable working time simply on trying to find out how to contact Adobe without speaking to someone for an hour.
    Oh yes, and also when I click on APP to upgrade,(lets say, as in today, Literoom)  the two links under each software icon now says "try" or "learnmore".  (Although it seems like I have full versions of software downloaded.)  I could have sworn at one time it was "download" and "learnmore".
    If I'm not getting my full version software then this cloud stuff is for the birds and it's not going to work for us faithful Adobe consummers.

    I have confirmed you have a paid membership. You are getting the full version of all the software included.
    What happens if you sign out, clear the cache and cookies in browser, restart the browser and sign back in? Do you still see the Upgrade link?

  • Current iLife needs updating, but don't want to pay for the latest versions when I already have the actual application

    I got a MacBook a couple of years a go and it was pre-downloaded with iLife 09.  I already downloaded the latest software (OS X Mountain Lion) and now I would like to update these to the most current versions out there (the ones in the Mac App Store) but I don't want to spend $15 per app when I already have the applications.  Is there a code that will allow me to just update the most current versions?  That would help most definetly.

    I'm having problems on the Lightroom CC App,as it seem's that when I open the Develop heading at the top of the screen,there is message that comes,which says this section is disabled and I need to renew my membership.My membership is up to date regarding payments etc.I use the student/ teacher version of the CC as I'm a student.Can anybody please advise what the problems seem's to be and what can i do to access the develop and other facilities on Lightroom?

    This is an indication that Lightroom is not connected to your subscription. Verify that your are logged into the Creative Cloud desktop app, or try logging out and back in again to refresh your subscription information: Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app.
    Also, verify that your student subscription is still current and active.

    I just renewed my membership for the Creative Cloud and my first payment has already gone through and I have to Creative Cloud icon on my desktop. Although, when I go to access Photoshop, it sends me to the screen where it says there is a download error. I need this for school and it hasn't been working!!     He has a pdf portfolio and what he actually wants is a basic pdf.  (his pdf portfolio has already been made, ie existing, not hypothetical!)
    I cannot find the answer either... extremely frustrating since I was not ever trying to create some flash based slide show, but a proper PDF, and inadvertently created the portfolio when choosing to Create PDF From File... You would THINK the default behaviour would then be to create a PDF, and NOT a portfolio pdf!!!!!
    Really annoying and frustrating... bad job Adobe!
    Is there a way to convert back to basic pdf??

    If you purchased the Perpetual Licensed version of Lightroom and received a 24 numeric serial number you will have to download the correct version from the link below.
    Before doing the new installation you will have to uninstall the existing version from your computer (it is the Creative Cloud version) since it is requesting you to "renew your membership" . This process will not interfere with your Catalog file, Preferences or your personal files, it will just remove the existing application. Both versions are the same application just a different download and activation process.
    Reboot your system then run the install of the Perpetual License download and input the serial number to activate. Things should be fine.

    you may as well install the later lr 5.7.1 rather than 5.6 and then updating.
