Acrobat won't play with Windows 7 nicely
I am running Acrobat 9 Pro on Windows 7 32-bit.
I save a pdf then close the pdf. I do not close the program, just the pdf. I go to windows explorer and attempt to move the folder that contains the pdf I just closed (as well as a few other files). Windows barks at me and says that one of the files in the foder is open and it can't move the file until it has been closed.
None of the files are open.
If I go to Acrobat and close the program entirely, only then will windows allow me to move the folder. Is there a setting in Acrobat that I need to change? It seems that Acrobat is telling windows that it still has the file open.

Adobe Acrobat locks the folder. You can move the closed pdf files, not the whole folder.

My songs won't play on Windows 7 version of iTunes. Everything on my PC is up to date. Windows Media Player works fine. I followed the directions and nothing has changed. I have already tried to re-install iTunes but that hasn't worked either. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please E-Mail me at [email protected] or reply to this message.
Itunes worked after reseting my computer to factory setting however had trouble again after syncing my iPod and iPod shuffle. Is this a coincidence or could it be the cause of the problem?

Creative Zen V Plus won't sync with Windows Media Player 11?
My Zen V Plus won't synchronize with Windows Media Player . I plug it into the USB, then an error message pops up in WMP that says "WMP has encountered a problem and needs to close" but if I just move the window aside WMP works fine. I then click 'sync" and it says "preparing to sync" but doesnt move beyond that. I have synced with WMP before, this problem has recently started occurring. I have all the firmware updates on my player, I don't know what is causing this problem.

Gi'ven the problem you describe, it would seem your best bet at this point would be to contact Customer Support. I doubt there is much the users here could help you with given your problem. If email support hasn't answered, did you get the automated reply? If so, did you reply to it's You won't get an advisor till you reply to the automated email, otherwise it is assumed the automated system solved your problem.

h.264 encoded video, AAC audio. Both standards of MPEG 4.
You need Windows Media Player version 12 or above to play MP4 (or add the codecs to your current version). -

I have the same issue with my OJ 6500 (network connected). And I've been just been sent on a wild goose chase to install the support assistant - which didn't actually resolve my issue. When I go directly to the drivers, it recognizes my OS as Windows 10, but doesn't give me a matching driver package to download... How/when will this be resolved? Does anyone have a workaround?If I knew that my printer/scanner doesn't work anymore I certainly wouldn't have upgraded to Windows 10. Win 8.1 wasn't perfect, but at least everything worked... We are going to have to get at your export settings which gets us to the properties of the finished video that you are trying to play in Windows Media Player.
If you take your finished video from Premiere Elements 13 and import that into a new Premiere Elements 13 project with Add Media/Files and Folders,
does it import into the new project. And, when the video is in the new project, does it display video and have audio in the Edit area monitor?
We need more details of the properties of the finished video. Knowing that you have no problems with this matter in Premiere Elements 12 and that
the finished video plays in CyberLink are important, but they do not help to figure out what is happening in 13 so that it does not happen again.

MOV files won't play on Windows computers
I have a number of MOV files (shot in full 1080 resolution) that won't play on a Windows PC. When I attempt to open them I get a warning stating that Quicktime may need extra files (or plugins?) in order to play the file. When I select the link it takes me to a page with all sorts of other providers such as DivX. With that said, what is the best format to enable smooth playback on a Windows machine?
I am in the same boat. I need to view AVCHD files that were converted to .mov by iMovie on a PC.
I think it is mainly because iMovie isn't really compatible with AVCHD so it converts it to .mov.
But it is not a normal .mov!
Apple loves to help you go from PC to MAC but when you try to go back again, God help you.
I refused to pay the price for a new MacBook so bought a core i7 laptop for less than the cheapest MacBook(white)!

Compressor creating movs that won't play in Windows
I am trying to make transcode video to play back on an installed HD television set. It is being fed by a Windows XP computer over HDMI using Windows Media Player. I have tried 25 different codecs including avi, wmv and mov. The avi and wmv will play on the pc, but the quality is bad and file size is too big. The movs that I create work fine on my mac but won't play on the pc. The movies load with an error message indicating an unknown file type. The audio track plays but no video.
Is there a "Make PC compatible" button that I am missing?From what I've experienced, HD Quicktime Codecs are not cross-platform. You could try using AJA's or Blackmagic's free downloadable codecs, which are cross-platform, but I don't know how those codecs perform with Windows Media Player.
Your best bet would be to purchase the Flip4Mac HD WMV codecs:

Will Acrobat Pro 7 Work with Windows 7? It did NOT with Vista.
I create fillable forms using Pro and have never had any problem getting Acrobat Pro to install the PDF driver with Windows 6 or XP.
However, I have tried every "solution" offered by Adobe to get the driver to install on my new notebook which runs on Vista. I have also downloaded and installed both Vista service packs. The driver still will not install,
Without the converter driver, I cannot do a substantial portion of my work on the new computer.
I was going to upgrade to Acrobat Pro 8 but found out from other irritated users that Pro 8 also failed to install the driver using Vista.
Am I the only customer who thinks there is really shoddy support from Adobe on this issue?
I am willing to upgrade to Windows 7. However, if Pro fails to work with Windows 7 like it did with Vista then the upgrade would be another waste of my money. If we cannot depend on Acrobat Pro to work on the Windows platform, my company (5000+ employees) is going to have to find other software.

How did you encode the music files? If you used iTunes to rip the music with make sure you have Apple Quicktime player installed and/or check for an update for Quicktime player. Does you music files play in any other music player? Also try to uncheck all music sources log out of the Spotify desktop app and log back into the Spotify desktop app, add music sources back again into the Spotify desktop app and see if local music files play now.
What Spotify desktop app version are you running?
