Acrobat X Pro No Longer Loads - Win7x64 - working up till c. 2 weeks ago

Not sure what's happened, but Acrobat X Pro no longer runs. Was installed as part of Web & Design Premium CS6, but it's no longer working. I'm normally pretty up to date with Adobe updates, and Adobe Application Manager is not showing any updates for this or any other Adobe application at the moment.
Is this a known issue? I found another thread from 9th October re an update, but there is no update available for me at this time.
Any help appreciated, as I have clients waiting!

harminder@apple - any luck? Try this, open Finder and press command-shift-G and copy and paste:
~/Library/Application Support/Skype
In this Skype folder: delete the file shared.xml and restart Skype.
See if this helps.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro will not load on new Windows 7 Home Ultimate PC

When I double click on the AA9 icon to initiate installation, it whirls away for a while then asks if I want to allow "this program to make changes to his computer?" I click Yes and it begins to process again for a few minutes. Then it displays the following Invalid Unicode file error message...and simply stops processing or installing. In that last process, it also reaches out for whatever reason and activates the magnifier tool in Windows.
I have thought that perhaps upgrading to a higher version of Windows might help, but who knows for sure?
P.S. – This is a brand new HP Pavilion dv6 series computer that is more than adequate to this task.

Please ensure that you are signed in as admin and antivirus software is disabled at the time when you install.

How can i have aperture restart loading pictures from my camera. 2 weeks ago aperture was perfect. thursday aperture stopped loading new pics from the same camera. have done library rebuilds and permissions to no avail. about to trash aperture.

I recieved an error message stating the photo files were not uploaded. The apple store staff was no help at all this time( they usually are very good) should i delete/trash the app and start over?

Thank's for the respones. Found out that Aperture runs great on at least 2 gig of ram. Just installed 4 gig. All of my issues have vanished. Moving on the the next day.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

The problem is that the POP3 client is not issuing a DELE command to remove the email from the server.

Acrobat X Pro no longer edits pdf's after doing clean install going from 10.9 to 10.10 on mac.

all other suite programs seem to work just fine. Just not Acrobat X. Was install from upgrade serials numbers. Acrobat X does not work well using Yosemite for me.....

I am not able to edit scanned documents that once could. They were scanned in as PDF files. The files that I once could edit in Acrobat x Pro are no longer editable. Past PDF's that I used change dates and resend no work. I did a clean install going from maverick 10.9 to yosemite 10.10 due to an issue with third party program. Since the clean install I have not been able to see or work on older adobe files that I once could. Everything that had a adobe icon attach to it has disappeared and been replaced with an apple pdf icon. It will not let me select areas as I once could to even copy and paste.

Acrobat XI Pro "add text comment" not working

In Acrobat, my "Add Text Comment" comment feature no longer works. I am using Acrobat XI Pro on Win7.
The property "Locked" vs Make Property Default fix on these forums did not work for me.
When I click on a document to add a text comment,
1. Acrobat creates a small square (uneditable)
2. Acrobat adds a comment to the comments list
I am unable to type any text, nor edit the box, nor change the box's size, nor see the properties.
Any thoughts are appreciated as to how to fix this feature.

Hi cpa-michael,
If this issue appears in any PDF that you try to add comments to, please repair the Acrobat installation by choosing Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.
If the issue appears only in one PDF file, that PDF may be damaged and you can try Saving As to repair the document, or you can try to "refry" the PDF by printing to PDF from within Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat X Pro Is Installed but Not Working

I installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro about a year ago. It has never worked, and I'm just now getting around to trying to fix it. When I try to open a PDF document with the program, it brings up a window that asks if I'll allow the program to make changes to my computer. I click "yes," and the window goes away, but then absolutely nothing happens, the document never opens, and I have to open it with Adobe Reader instead.
I'd like to be able to use the program that I paid for.
What can I do?

you should open the directory where adobe x pro was installed. find Acrobat.exe, right click it>click "run as administrator".
if that fails, fun the acrobat cleaner: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
restart your computer
reinstall acrobat x pro.

How was the pdf created. When I want to get the best results I scan to TIFF at 300 dpi and then import the TIFF file into Acrobat.

I've installed Acrobat XI Pro via the Creative Cloud App Installer, it has a green check and says Up to date. When i try to run the program, an error dialouge pops up immediately:

In creative cloud app preferences I've set the install location to the E: drive (though somehow creative cloud still manages to install over 10 gigs of file on my SSD C: drive)
I've uninstalled/reinstalled, ran the adobe wiper tool, all no luck. Any ideas?
