Acrobat X Pro Not displaying Scanned Images

Question

I have a client that has halef the users on Adobe Pro 9 and another half on Adobe Pro X.  The users with Adobe Pro 9 can see scanned documents with no issues but the users with Adobe Pro X cannot see any documents that are scanned.  I have searched through the forums and the only suggestion was to have Disply Large Images checked (which it is).
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated as it is fairly critical that everyone see these scanned documents.

              What happens if you save these documents first and then open them in Acrobat X? Also, could you try disabling Enhanced Security in Acrobat? Although disabling Enhanced Security is not allowed, we'll need to do this to verify the real cause of this issue. Please follow the steps below to disable enhanced security:
              1. Launch Acrobat X / Reader X.
              2. Go to Preferences (Edit > Preferences or Ctrl+K).
              3. From the list of categories on the left, select "Security (Enhanced)".
              4. Now, uncheck the checkbox called "Enable Enhanced Security" and Click Ok
              5. Close Acrobat/Reader and relaunch Acrobat/Reader.
              6. Now, try opening the same files which don't render.
              Please let me know your findings.
