Acrobat X Pro trial (problems in installing)

I downloaded Acrobat X Pro trial but could not complete the installation.
The error windows says there is a problem with the system requirements but that should be ok.
I have Windows Vista and about 30 GB of free memory space.
Thank you for your help

Vaharmony if you do not currently have another web browser available then please download and install one.  It is usually a good practice in general to have an alternate browser available to utilize when having an inconsistent experience on the World Wide Web.

  • Acrobat XI Pro trial won't install under Yosemite

I've downloaded a trial version of Acrobat XI and launched the installer but I get the spinning wheel after clicking on "Install" and it becomes unresponsive and I have to Force Quit. I don't get an error message. I've just noticed that Adobe Reader won't run now either, so there seems to be an underlying problem with Acrobat-related software. I have InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS5 running perfectly fine. Hopefully someone has an idea! Thanks in advance.

  • I have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended trying to install Adobe Presenter

I have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended trying to install Adobe Presenter can someone tell me where the serial # is located as there is none on the box although there is one for Acrobat.. thanks

Hi there. I'm having the same issue, and it appears a few others in the forums are as well.  The jist of it all seems to be that when you try to install presenter from acrobat extended, a message pops up saying that powerpoint is not installed. So like me you go to Adobe support, see that there is a download for MS office 2010 powerpoint, and download it. This is the kicker though, it seems that this is a stand alone version you have just downloaded requiring its own unique seriel number, (one you have to buy) and will not activate in combination with Acrobat Pro extended in any way shape or form.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, attempted to patch, but it will not allow me to, as presenter is not installed! Then I have tried to look at the presenter file within adobe folders, but alas its not there as I can't install it, I can't fiddlle or patch it in any way shape or form. This appears to be other peoples problem as well. Argghhhhhh!
I'm not sure of the work around for this is, hopefully they will sort it out soon, this programme is not cheap!!!!
Unfortunatly for me tech support is now closed until next week, but in your time zone it may be different.
I hope this gives you some background to the why you are having the problem, although not solving it for you.
    Regards,
    Keiran.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro shutting down after install

I just purchased Acrobat 9 Pro upgrade. The install goes smoothly. However, when I go to open up the program, it opens and then shuts down. I have tried reinstalling after unstalling and still have the same problems. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to get to open several pdfs and I can't.
    Thank you!

Do a search for others with this problem. It is being reported a lot right now and seems to be related to a MS issue. Of course, Microsoft says the vendors need to ensure the compatibility. Bill

  • Acrobat X Pro Trial

    Greetings All,
Someone sent me a PDF file of several pages where there are a lot of blanks to be filled out.
Ordinarily I would have to print the document, fill it out by hand, then scan it back into my computer to send back.
My goal is to find software that would allow me to fill in the blanks and save the end product.
I downloaded the Acrobat X Pro trial, but cannot even get it to run. I have plenty of space on my computer. I have Windows 7 Home Premium, with Service Pack 1.
There is no desktop icon to launch the Acrobat X Pro trial. Every time I click where I downloaded it, it thinks I want to install it again.
Every time I open an existing PDF file, Adobe Reader 9 which I already had shows up and won't let me save any changes.
It cannot be that difficult to accomplish my goal in this day and age.
    What am I doing wrong?
How do I get the Acrobat X Pro trial to run?
Is there a better and easier software to accomplish my goal?
    Thank you in advance.

You should be grateful that it won't open b/c you can't un-install it!!! If you really want it, buy it and then run it. I can't get my "Trial" version to un-install.

  • Acrobat X Pro (trial) giving different output then Acrobat X Standard

I downloaded and used Acrobat-X Pro (trial version) on a 200 page MS WORD file that was full of photos and it created a 133MB PDF (I ran in Press mode). The trial ran out, so I deinstalled and then installed a licensed Acrobat-X Standard version. I created a PDF using the very same file (again in 'Press' mode in case that has some bearing) and now the PDF file is only 107MB AND worse yet the contrast in the photos is higher and colors are a bit brighter!! (neither of which I want because I have already published the PDF of Acro-X version).  What is the difference between the two Acrobat-X versions (Pro vs Standard) that would cause the Acro-X Standard version PDF to be 20% smaller and the images to be different than Acro-X Pro?

You should be grateful that it won't open b/c you can't un-install it!!! If you really want it, buy it and then run it. I can't get my "Trial" version to un-install.

    Hi screen name,
Adobe PDF printer gets installed when you install Acrobat 10 Pro.
To use this printer you need to purchase Acrobat. Once the trial period is over you cannot use the printer to create pdf files.
An alternative way for you is to utilize Microsoft's own inbuilt pdf engine.
You can simply open the file and select 'Save as' and in the type list select 'pdf'

  • I just downloaded Acrobat XI Pro trial version - Expired?

I just downloaded Acrobat XI Pro Trial Version and the first time I try to open something it says my trial period has expired but I JUST ENROLLED.  I am needing to upgrade from 9 Pro - hated 10 Pro and would love to try 11 pro before I make a mass purchase for my company.

Since you are at a company, I suggest you try the trial on another computer. Be careful if you have another version installed as XI may uninstall that one or mess it up.

I am using Acrobat XI Pro and tried to install the current update. I got this error message: "Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp It has probably been updated by other means1 and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor." tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still get the error. Searched for C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp and cannot find the path or the file

For AA XI, you only need the 11.0.09 patch. Download from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows (Use "MAC" if a MAC is used).

    Hi higi97,
How are you connected to the internet? Are you behind a particularly secure corporate firewall? Are you on Mac or Windows? Do you have any anti-malware software running on your machine that may be preventing applications other than your browser from connecting to the internet?
You may try to follow the steps below:
    1.Close the Creative Cloud application.
    2.Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    3.Delete the opm.db file.
    4.Launch Creative Cloud.
Let us know if that helps,

  • Adobe Acrobat XI pro trial version Export options

How to export a PDF file to HTML file by Acrobat XI pro trial version? There is on HTML option in export menu. This XI version is supposed to support export to HTML.

It definitely supports HTML export. File > Save As Other > HTML Web Page. It does a much better job in XI with TOC  entries and list elements. Here is a link to a tutorial on the subject:

  • Acrobat X Pro Trial jumps 30 days forward when just activated

    Hello.
I've downloaded the trial version of Acrobat X Pro yesterday, and started it earlier today. It said, correctly, that I had 30 days left of my trial, so I moved on to create a PDF form. I browsed for a Word document and click Next, and it crashed caused by an unexpected error. The activation screen pops up and now it says I have 0 days left of my trial version.
I've never downloaded the Acrobat X Pro (Trial) before, so I'm a bit confused. Do I have to do something on my Adobe account? Can't seem to find anything that's related to this on my account. I might be wrong, hopefully. Any ideas?
    Cheers.

Nope, nothing you can do. whatever caused your crash busted up things.
    Adobe trial software expired early
