acrobat XI does not open - licensed copy - has been working properly for several months. i never did have any problems before this. was acrobat 10 with acrobat XI upgrade in November 2013 so 6-7 months of trouble free use

I too have the same problem working property until about January or February this year...get "bad parameter' message trying to open files and then when I did the upgrade this a.m. it will not open at all, just spins and then disappears. I had this problem about a week ago and our IT man thought he had it resolved, even then kept getting 'bad parameter' and then this a.m. right back to not opening at all. I have Windows 7 Professional v6.1 and am wondering if it's a compatibility issue? Will I continue to have these issued until I install Windows 8?

operating system imac has nothing to do with this I am just trying to make a copy.
Just changed the ink today when the problem started. It still will not make a copy I just get a blank page.
No changes of any kind.

I searched other posts and someone suggested that I go to setup on the front of the printer and then tools. I did a cleaning twice and now it makes copies again. The first time I did the cleaning it still did not work, the second cleaning did it. I would strongly suggest to HP that they address this issue in their troubleshooting docs. They don't even mention not making a copy, they only talk about printing, two diiferent issues.

What is your Operating system version and where is your library located? Have imported new images recently or changed the location of your library?

It sounds like an issue of trying to run XI on VISTA. That combination does not work. Info on both the Acrobat full version (including sub-version) and OS would help. It might also be an issue of running 11.0.0 on a system that needs the updates to work.

The E-M1 was first supported by Camera Raw 8.3 which is only compatible with CS6 and CC. It is not compatible with CS5 or lower and never will be.
Some options:
Upgrade to CS6
Join the Cloud
Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the Raw E-M1 files to DNGs then edit the DNGs in CS5

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If nothing above helped, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

My unibody macbook (latest 2010 model) wont connect to my home wifi. When it does which is rare, it is very slow. I have tried everything from renewing DCHP lease and such. This has been going on for two months.

It will not connect but my other apple devices can connect and the wifi works very well. I have moved houses to my house wifi isnt the same as the old one. Also, i have to type in the password every time even if i click autosave. Sometimes it also says invalid password or connection timeout. This has been going on for two months and is getting really annoying. I've tried most of the solutions listed on other discussions, none of them work. Any other tips? Thank you. I had already tried deleting the review slide itself, though Captivate wouldn't let me - it just hid it. I tried again using the method you recommended but the slide remained in the filmstrip, so I tried deleting again, then re-added it from the Quiz Settings page ... no joy, same behavior as before.
I checked the Advanced Interaction page and confirmed that all of the scored questions were configuredthe same way as the non-scored questions, with the only difference being the pool that they were drawing from.
Other thoughts? I am by no means a Captivate expert but this one really feels like it shouldn't be this hard, and I'm more than a little afraid that it's the file itself that's jacked up ...

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad.
If you haven't synced to a computer them (from here) :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

All my markers on a given piece of audio allows me to left click to highlight the time signature until my audio reaches the one hour point. From there on, the left click will not give me the drop down menu in order to copy and then paste into an Excel sheet I then have to submit for the proofing purposes. After the one hour mark, I can only control/c in order to highlight, then when I slide up to my Excel sheet, I'm able to right click and paste. Why is the program not, all of a su allowing me to left cllick the mouse and have a drop down menu give me the option to "copy, " as it does for any time signature markers up to 1:00:00.000?

Which version of Audition? With the latest version of Audition running on a Windows 7 machine I can't get a dropdown menu at all when I left click on the time in Markers List. The only way to do it is with cntrl-c.
