Acrobat XI Pro Opens a blank Adobe Software License Agreement. Hitting Accept doesn't do anything.

Acrobat XI installation problem seems to prevent the app from opening. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. There was a working previous version that I have since uninstalled assuming that there was a conflict. Now I have no working copy of Acrobat. On a Mac running 10.8.5.

  • Blank Adobe Software License Agreement Window

I uninstalled an early version of Acrobat Pro. I then installed, through the Creative Cloud app, the Newest version of Acrobat Pro XI. The installation process generated an error so I clicked on "retry" It appeared to be successful. However upon launching the Acrobat software I get an adobe Sofware License Agreement window that is blank except for the bottom of the window: Clicking on "Accept" does nothing. Clicking on "Quit" quits.
I have tried to uninstall this app through the Creative cloud app but "Uninstall" is greyed out. the app has a green check by the Adobe Acrobat XI app.

    Thanks Mylenium.
I found the solution that worked, but it was here:
Solution 1: Sign out of the Creative Cloud application
    On the EULA, click Quit.
Launch the Adobe Creative Cloud application.
Sign out of the application. For information, see Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud desktop app.
Launch Acrobat and accept the EULA.
When prompted, click License This Software and sign in with your Creative Cloud subscription.

What happens when I need to Accept and text of terms are not there...just blank space?

    Thanks Mylenium.

  • Why does Acrobat XI installed via CC ask me for Adobe Software License Agreement?

When I try to open a pdf with Acrobat XI Pro installed via Creative Cloud, after few second it starts Adobe Application Manager, it opens a completely blank window titled Adobe Software License Agreement asking to Accept. It's pointless to clic the Accept button: it doesn't do anything and Acrobat is unusable.

  • Adobe Software License Agreement pops up over and over when I try to use Acrobat. Even after I "Acce

Adobe Software License Agreement pops up over and over when I try to use Acrobat. Even after I "Accept".

I have the same problem as Pam101. I am on OS X 10.9 and Safari 7 (actually on 2 iMacs). The one iMac is fine but the other with the same versions and settings Adobe Reader will not work. What happens is the Adobe Reader icon appears on the dock, bounces once and that's it. When trying to open a .pdf file from a website a new tab is opened on Safari, the background is black and there is a pop up message (black test on a white background) that reads: "Adobe PDF Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement." This is all very well but if Adobe Reader will not launch how on earth is it possible to accept the End User License Agreement terms? Very, very annoying, especially since it all works just fine if I launch a .pdf file from a website using Chrome. What is going on here and who do I talk to in order to fix this problem - Apple or Adobe?

  • I have a valid copy of Premiere Elements 11 that does not open past the Elements 11 Organizer Adobe Software License Agreement

My copy of Premiere Elements 11 will not open. I'm on a PC with System 7. When I double-click on the PE11 desktop icon, the window opens that says Elements 11 Organizer Adobe Software License Agreement. I select English (North America) and "Accept". The window disappears but then reappears again and again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the disk and from the download. I have also tried a clean boot and have restarted numerous times. It accepts my Serial Number OK, but I can't seem to get beyond this step. Any help would be appreciated.

Consider uninstall, free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts), reinstall with antivirus and firewalls disabled.
CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download
Significantly different from what you did already?
Have you looked at the antivirus interference in this?
Even after the uninstall/reinstall, you might explore deleting the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file, and, if that does not work, then
the whole 11 Folder in which it exists.
    Local Disc C
    Users
    Owner
    AppData
    Roaming
    Adobe
    Premiere Elements
    11.0
and, in the 11.0 Folder, is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then you delete the whole 11.0
Folder in which it exists. Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see
    the complete path cited.
I have not seen that Organizer Adobe Software Licensing Agreement issue before and it does not quite fit in with the usual troubleshooting
drill. But the above is worth the try to rule in or out.
We will be watching for your progress.
    Thank you.

  • Adobe Software License Agreement issue

Every time I try to open Acrobat Pro (creatie cloud) I get this Adobe Software License Agreement with a blank screen.  It won't let me choose accept. Assuming there is a check box I need to check somewhere in the blank window. If i hit cancel it closes Acrobat.

Blank EULA screen appears on Acrobat XI launch

  • Why do I keep getting the adobe software license agreement?

I just downloaded cs6 and when I try to open Acrobat Pro X I get the software license agreement, I'll hit agree, it will go away for a couple of seconds and then just pops up again and again. HELP please

Getting same problem here.  Just got CS6 suite.  Dreamweaver works fine, Photoshop works fine.  But when loading Acrobat Pro X, the "Adobe Software License Agreement" comes up, I click Agree, and it comes up again, I click Agree, and it comes up again, and on and on.  Am admin on machine.  Ran As admin, still no go.

  • Will agreeing to a CS6 Master Collection "Adobe Software License Agreement" initiate the trial?

I downloaded a CS6 Master Collection trial but I'd like to try the applications individually instead.
I am attempting to open a .pdf and Acrobat X is asking me to accept an Adobe Software License Agreement.  But the window for this agreement says "CS6 Master Collection" in the upper left corner.
Will accepting this Acrobat/Master Collection agreement initiate a CS6 Master Collection trial?

The simplest solution would be to Install the free Adobe Reader to view the PDFs.
Acrobat is included in the Master Collection, and is now the default PDF viewing application. Starting Acrobat, I believe, will start off the trial countdown.
But to be fully functional, if you don't need the entire trial right now, you can go ahead and uninstall it.
And to buy extra time, install individual trials of products as you need them. Just remember that you can try out a product only once on a machine.

  • Sign in required and Adobe Software License Agreement screens appear

Everytime I launch the Adove CC Software (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator....) I have to sign in and then the Adobe Software License Agreement screen appears. Are these two screens supposed to appear everytime I launch the software (it didn't used to do this). It's very frustrating. Any help would be welcome.

  • Adobe software license agreement repeatedly appears

So far my update to CC has been relatively (and I use that word sparingly) bump free, but Im plagued with a minor, albeit annoying issue.
Randomly at program launch, I'm greeted with the "adobe software license agreement" dialogue box, and I've already agreed to it about 15 times. It happens very randomly, and multiple times across same software.
    Is this a known issue?

  • Adobe software licensing agreement

    Hello everyone,
I would like to download Adobe's Reader 11 program for Windows 7, however I must already have a pdf viewer installed on my computer to open the software licensing agreement (SLA). Is there a way to avoid downloading another pdf viewer (which I don't want to do because I would have to read another SLA) just to read Adobe's SLA for Reader 11? I'm interested in using Adobe's Reader 11 and would rather not just go with another program.
    Thank you.

Here is the Adobe reader 11 download page:
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Above the download now button is the link to the Adobe SLA, which takes you to a page that has multiple SLAs for different products towards the bottom.
I think the link you supplied will be sufficient however, thank you.

  • Can't get past Adobe Software License Agreement window

After upgrading with Creative Cloud Membership I can't open Acrobat XI. It launches for a moment, then switches to Agreement window. This window is blank, and the "Accept" button doesn't do anything.

Its there in the list of known issues: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/known-issues-acrobat-xi-reader.html
The workaround is to launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite and deactivate it via Help > Deactivate menu. Quit the application. Then, launch Acrobat and accept the EULA. Then, for the CCM subscription product, launch it and select “License this software” to enable the CCM product again. If a CS application, launch it and reactivate it.
    Thanks

  • Adobe Software License Agreement

When I intalled Acrobat and the above window came up and I clicked on Accept, it goes no further. I can open a PDF but it quits within a few seconds. IfI open the PDF in my old Acrobat, the programme quits. I need to submit this to a printer so it is very urgent.

    For your first question, yes.
