    I recently got the new MacBook Pro OS X 10.9 and when I started up my computer I transferred all of my information over to my new Mac from my old MacBook (2008 version).
    I was happy that my Acrobat XI Pro transfered over, but it only transfered as a "trial" software and all previous records of purchasing my sofware in my account at Adobe are now gone. I thought I would be fine because the trial software frequently reminds me that it is a trial, and prompts me for my serial number. I have my serial number from my previous Acrobat saved and entered that number. When I do, this message pops up,
    "This serial number is not valid for Acrobat XI Pro. You can either use a valid serial number for Acrobat XI Pro or use this serial number on the appropriate product."
    What???
    Please help, my trial ends soon and I've run out of options. I can't lose this expensive software!

    Hi NLC alamo,
    Adobe does not recommend using any migration software to transfer the software.
    Please remove Acrobat and reinstall it and use the serial number to activate it.

    My computer crashed. I am trying to reinstall Acrobat 8 Pro. This version of Acrobat 8 Pro is an upgrade from a earlier version for which I don't have the serial number anymore. During the install it asks for the current and old serial numbers. I only have the current number. The install process states to contact support for a Response Code to complete the installation. Please send me the response code. The product can not be deactivated on the old computer's hard drive has crashed and can not be repaired.

  • Adobe CS6 Design Standard Product Code Invalid?!?!

    Yesterday I purchased a brand new MacBook Retina Display 13". I was eligible for a deal on the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard Student Edition as I am a university student and was also purchasing a MacBook.
    I am trying to install the sofware on my MacBook and it keeps telling me my product code is invalid! i have tried entering it in a variety of ways e.g with dashes, without dashes ect. and nothing seems to be working. I have currently been on hold to Adobe for 15 minutes and not sure how much longer I can hold out! I really need to get on with using photoshop and Indesign for my current project and nobody seems to be able to help
    I noticed somebody else about a week ago had exactly the same issue but no resolution ever seemed to appear on his question

    Mine does not have six set of four numbers.More like five. Out of the five, one has six alphanumeric combinations. It won't let me finish adding that last group of numbers and letters to complete re-registration of my software, allowing the disc to install the software data. The first two boxes won't let me add alphabetical letters from the product code number.

  • Acrobat X Pro with Outlook 2010 - Bookmarks & help!

    Hi,
    I am a novice user of Acrobat, and use it to produce the most basic documents with good results.  I have only ever used Acrobat 7, and one thing that I have pushed to our managers here, is the ability to output a folder of emails direct from outlook to PDF, with automatic bookmarking.  It really works very well.
    The company now want me to procure Acrobat for the whole projects team for many reasons, particularly the bookmarked email export.
    I have installed Acrobat X Pro now, with a view to roll it out, but I can not for the life of me work out how to do what was very simple and automatic in A7.
    When I go to the preferences, 7 had an option for auto bookmark, but X doesn't.
    This is embarrasing for me at the moment, can anybody help?

    Hi Vince,
    Acrobat X does not allow bookmarking of separate messages in flat PDF.
    You should instead go for PORTFOLIO creation. This can be done via CHANGE CONVERSION SETTINGS in the PREFERENCES hive of "Adobe PDF" ribbon > Opt for "Output Adobe PDF Portfolio when creating a new PDF file".
    Portfolio creation helps retain the folder structure that existed in your mail client, making it easy to traverse messages in a layout similar to that of the common mail clients.
    For filtering the PDF content in archived Portfolio, you could use FILTER(s). These can be added via choosing the FILTER icon from the mail archive navigator, as shown below and adding criteria for filtering messages:

    Hello, I read the thread Acrobat X Pro Installer Rolls Back in Windows 7 64-bit
    And I need help applying the solution. I don't know how to run the command.
    I have an acrobat X Pro CD with a serial number key to install the program but the program doesn't install and it rolls back all the time.
    Can someone help me with this? I'm trying to install on a windows 7 pro laptop.

    Hello Aadesh, thank you for getting back to me to help me with this issue. I don't get an error message during the installation process. What happens is that the installation stops in the last seconds and it says rolling back. And on the next window it says something like "installation wizard was interrupted and couldn't finish installing"
    I tried downloading Acrobat from the link you provided and same thing happens.
    I want to try to apply the solution posted on this thread Acrobat X Pro Installer Rolls Back in Windows 7 64-bit
    But I don't know how.I mean I know I have to use the command center but I don't know what to type as a path

  • Crystal Reports v10. SP6 install failed. Reinstall product code invalid

    As the title says, I downloaded and installed the SP6 patch for Crystal Reports Professional Edition version 10, and the programme crashed on load up (even after numerous restarts of the computer)
    I tried re-installing the patch to no avail.
    So I loaded the original full installation file, and ran the 'reinstall' option. The prompt box checked that I wanted to uninstall existing version first, which I declined to do on the first pass (this didn't resolve the problem)
    I then re-ran the reinstall and selected 'yes' to uninstall existing, this being the only option left to me.
    I was then prompted to re-enter the product code. I did this using the original code supplied when I bought the software (in 2004) and the code was rejected as it has apparantly 'expired'.
    After about an hour trying to decipher this website, I called a couple of support numbers, both of which insisted the only way to contact support was through this forum.
    Hence this post.
    I would be grateful therefore for any response.

    Programme is now installed, but prompting me for a registration key, which I do not have.
    Website link embedded within programme is now out of date.
    ..so I'm back to this forum which I understand is my sole source for this information.
    Any help gratefully received.

    A couple of problems I am having with Adobe products. First, you tell me I can't get Acrobat XI Pro in Papua New Guinea and yet you allowed me to have the free trial. Now I want to buy it and you won't let me. Second, your chat which says is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week doesn't work. Lastly, I can't change my country of residence in my account. So far it's a very disappointing experience with you. I wonder if there is some other product out there that does the same thing  without all the problems I am encountering from Adobe?

    When I try to enter my product code, this appears: Identit-e does not recognize this product code.

    Sending CMYK Information you should only need to go through the redemption process once.  Once the redemption process is complete the serial number should be available under your account.  You can find more details regarding redeeming your redemption code at https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/redemption-code-help.html.
    If you have a product code then it likely you have already redeemed the code previously.  If you are unable to locate your registered serial number then please contact our support team at Contact Customer Care.

    Acrobat 9 is part of the CS5 family of products so you might try downloading the trial of that and see if it works out.
    You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
    Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

    Hello,
    Due to getting a new Desktop machine I am trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Pro onto the new machine.
    The current problem is that I don't have the license code anymore ( I still have Adobe Acrobat X Pro installed on my old machine).
    I tried to find the license code in Adobe Acrobat X Pro itself but it's nowhere to be found.
    I also tried Google but I still get no clear description about where to find my licensecode and if it's possible to even find the licensecode.
    I also wonder if it's possible to come into direct contact with Adobe ( by phone or e-mail)
    So to sum up my questions:
    Where can I find my Adobe Acrobat X Pro license code ? ( digital / in fysical documents)
    Is there a way i can retrieve this licensecode if I don't have the fysical documents anymore? (but still have the licensed version on my machine))
    Can I contact Adobe directly by e-mail / phone (anything besides a forum)

  • I'm getting "invalid product code" when trying to install Dashboard Design

    I have verified that it's a valid product code and was informed to make sure the following Microsoft KBs, KB2467175
    KB2467174, or KB2467173 are present on the computer.   All are not, however issue persists.   The OS is Windows XP Professional.  Help?

    Do you have write permissions to registry?
    This issue can happen when Restrictions have been applied to Windows UAC (User Access Control), limiting permissions to HKLM Registry. To avoid this: when performing an installation of Dashboard Design, make sure to right-click on the setup.exe, and select "Run as Administrator" before launching the routine.
