Acrobat XI trial completed and now I cant even open a pdf
Every time I click on a pdf to open it the message comes up to either purchase or install my serial number. I do not want to purchase at this point but it seems I dont even have the Adobe Reader I had previously. Can you please help
Uninstall Acrobat, run the Acrobat Cleaner Tool, reinstall Adobe Reader.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes (similar to those above) and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if iTunes or one of the components won't install normally.

2 questions, 1 I tried to download developer preview 2, and it did not complete and now I cant redeem again. Is there a way to fix without calling the 800, 2 if i put all itunes in the cloud do i have to store it on my machine still, can i delete movies etc, on hard drive
If you mean the Developer preview of OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion you need to be posting this to the appropriate developer forum or AppleSeed forum. We can't help you with software that hasn't been released.
Your second question seems to be related to iTunes Match, yes? Try posting it in that forum. -
I excepted the firefox update and now wish I never got involved with it at all. I am so upset, it change my toolbars and everything and now I cant even get anyone to fix this. maybe you have a suggestion or you want to fix this since it was your update that created this mess.

What "child lock" are you talking about?
Do you mean you set up a Managed account (Parental Controls), or some other software?
For Parental Controls, select the account in Users & Groups and uncheck the "Enable parental controls" checkbox. -

I recently downloaded the most recent version of snow leopard to my imac. Now I can't open any pdf files. I just get a dark gray screen when I try to pull one up. Has anyone else had this problem? Please advise.

My free Acrobat trial expired and now I can't open PDFs with Adobe Reader
I recently downloaded a free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro before purchasing the software. I already have Adobe reader installed on my computer (Dell PC -- Windows 7). I attempted to purchase Adobe Acrobat as the parent of a student and I was told I had to wait for verification, which could take 1-2 days. In the mean time, EVERY time I try to open a PDF, it asks me to buy the software and reminds me my trial has expired. How can I revert back to using the free Adobe Reader I have always used? If I had known it would be this much trouble, I never would have tried the free trial! Can anyone help me out?

I downloaded a new version of I tunes yesterday and it did not install correctly- I cannot open I tunes, I have tried to download again, install again, repair and nothing... should I uninstall ITunes completely and reinstall fresh? what happens to my music collection, images, etc?

How did it get on your ipod in the first place if not from your comptuer?

Installed Adobe 9.2 and now I can't open ANYTHING pdf
After installing Adobe 9.2, all of my pdf files are not inaccessible. I get "Internal Error" and it closes the program. Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to what I can do. Now, I can't unistall Adobe 9.2 or Adobe 8 to reinstall. I tried the "fix" feature and that doesn't even work. Is there a bug with Adobe 9. I called tech support and they are useless, so I am here. Please anyone, please help, I am in dire need of using my pdf files. Thanks so much for any help you can provide. God Bless!

ok for the past couple of days ive used youtube enhancer its been taking me to another tab where i had to pick how i wanted to download the vid...b4 it did it all on the same page... now when it goes to the other page theres no options to choose from to click on to start the download. I downloaded an audio book this morning, it did not download completely. I came back to bring back up iTunes to see if the book was completely downloaded and not I can't even bring up iTunes?

I'd recommend putting the iPod into 'manual mode.' This will need to be done from the computer that it's normally synced to in order to prevent removing existing content, but it can then be connected to your computer, and you can add the audio book without removing the current library on the device.

Error occured during update, and now i cant even use my phone.
i was going to update my ipone 4 from 4.2.1 and after the itunes downloaded, the update, it said, an error occured during setup, but i didnt remeber the number of the error. and i cant see it in itunes, and i see an usb cable and itunes on my phone main screen. i dont know, what can i do.
This support article won't help since he was able to connect to iTunes but got an error message and his phone went into recovery mode while attempting to update. He needs to resolve the specific cause of the error. Restarting the computer and iTunes won't help at all.
