Acrobat XI trial version download problems

I have tried three times to download the Acrobat XI trial software but during file extraction I get Error 101, error installing the product installer.  Check disk for space.  This program is a little under 550 Mb and I have 529 Gb of free disk space available.  What do I need to do?  I don't want to purchase something that has this kind of flaw.

Buster what location are you choosing to download the installation files too?

    You can give that a try I would also recommend completing Solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1 to truely reset the download process back to it's original state.
    Also if you are utilziing a wireless connection it would be beneficial to try a wired connection with an ethernet cable prior to starting the download again.

    Hi there, I recently converted a Word 2013 document to a PDF using Acrobat XI trial version. However, when  I reduced the PDF size and secured it, the bookmarks disappeared. I'm interested in buying the full version but I need to know first why this is happening and what I need to do to fix it. Can anyone throw any light on the problem? Is it a problem with the trial version only?

    Unfortunately, how the document appears in Word depends on the selected (or default?) printer. So if you intend to convert to PDF, set the default printer to the Acrobat PDF printer and it shouldn't change.     Then, make sure you're logged in as an administrator and disable any anti-virus software before you install.

  • PSE 12 trial version - loading problems

    I have been trying for 3 days to load the 30 day trial of PSE12 on my new computer. My computer is loaded with Windows 8.  I have encountered problems over and over again with loading PSE12, but never the same problem.
    For example: after one download the start menu would open but it wouldn't go to the organizer or editor.  So I deleted that program and re-loaded it BUT -
    then , it went straight to the organizer - and froze, so I clicked out - tried to click back in, and NOTHING> >> not even the start menu.
    THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING! Makes me really second guess whether I should purchase this or not
    Please help!!!

    I think it said error 101, but not totally sure that I recall it 
    correctly.  I deleted everything and reinstalled and then it  worked.

    I am using Acrobat DC trial version right now. It has been only 3 days since its installation but now it starts showing 00 Days remaining. Note: I have once changed my system clock 3 months ahead of the current time & I think this problem occurs due to this. I want to explore more so please suggest any fix?

    I was thinking that at least Adobe might using some different method to track the trial period rather than just using the system clock. Suppose a person installs the software w/o checking his system date( that was not set correctly at the time time of installation) & fix it after the installation. Then He will encounter the same problem & may miss the chance of evaluating the software. Its really sad that we can't fix the same.

    You would only qualify for the upgrade if you had a purchased copy of a previous version that qualifies. For AA XI, that means you have to have AA 9 or later that you had purchased. So the answer to your question is NO, buy the full version.

    Can not download the Trial version of Acrobat Pro.  When trying to open the Download Assistant, the following error message:
    Sorry, an error has occurred.
    The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem.
    The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. 
    Please contact the application author.

    Ec.argos this an Adobe AIR error message.  You will want to remove the current installation of the Adobe Download Assistant and reinstall.

  • RoboHelp 10 Trial Version Download Link Not Working

    I have tried on multiple browers to download the trial version of RoboHelp 10.  Each time, it shows an error message after I select the language and click "Download."
    I called Adobe support and they said they couldn't help me: all I can do is post the problem on this forum.  How stupid is that? I am potentially going to buy this product and I cannot even download it!  Talk about bad sales on their part. (I wonder how the MadCap Flare folks would respond if I had the same problem? I'm just sayin'...)

    Thanks for the quick response. 
    I have tried I/E 9 and Firefox 17.   In I/E, I get the standard "Page not found" message; in Firefox I get "File not found."
    I don't have the Akami Downloader, and the option was never given to download it before I tried to download the trial.  I searched for it and all the places I found in my Google search require a purchase.
