AcroPro.msi missing

Issue: can't print PDF anymore
Have: Adobe Reader XI (11.0.10) and Adobe Acrobat X Pro
All of a sudden I can't print to pdf any more. Print pdf is not any more an option in my printer pull down menu.  I thought repairing my Acrobat Pro might help but when I tried it keeps stopping during the repair because it says it can't find AcroPro.msi and error 1706. I tried repairing my reader too (which it did re-install) but that did not fix my problem.
How do I get pdf option in my printer back?
Thanks everyone for your help... And Happy New Year :-)

You might try downloading the install file from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. If that does the job, then please backup the file for future needs (to CD or backup HD).

I am looking for the installation package "AcroPro.msi".  I had previously installed Acrobat Pro XI, but it seems to have disappeared, although the computer says it's installed.  Where do I find this installation package?
I use Acrobat Pro to save documents as pdf files, mostly tax returns and documents for transmittal to clients

    Hi Billstrom,
What was the Acrobat version installed on your machine.
You may visit this link to download Acrobat version you own: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html
If you have windows, click on Start > in the search box , type Adobe Acrobat and wait and see if you have Acrobat listed there or you may visit  C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat and look for "Acrobat.exe " or "Acrobat". It should be there if you have Acrobat Already installed.

  • German Admin Install ACROPRO.MSI

    Hi,
i have a multilanguage Installation Disc of Acrobat Pro 9.0
Unfortunately only the SETUP.EXE allows me to install in german.
I have to create an admin install of the MSI to integrate the hotfixes to 9.3.2.
If I  do so i get an english version. How can I get the german one?
    Cheers
    Carsten

    Hi,
You can install AcroPro in German using the following steps:
    1. Create an AIP for Acrobat 9x using the command: msiexec /a <Path of AcroPro.msi> /p <Path of patch_file>
    2. Copy the "1031.mst" from the installation disc to the machine
    3. Run the installation using the following command:
msiexec /i <path of Acroat 9 msi present inside the AIP> TRANSFORMS="<path of .mst file>"
    Thanks,

I can't uninstalled itunes.  I get the message  (itunes64.msi missing)  any help out there??

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Where does the acropro.msi file belong?

I have Adobe Creative Suite 6 installed on my laptop and I want to uninstall some of the programs I never use. A while back I moved the AcroPro.msi file from my laptop to an external hard drive. I believe I need it to properly uninstall these programs, but now I can't remember where it is supposed to reside on my computer. I am running Windows 7.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on your Acrobat version and the bitness of your Windows system, it should be in somewhere like
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat XX.0\Setup Files\{XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}

    Hi,
When I tried to download the new version of ITunes, the process stopped telling me the file "ITunes64.msi" was missing, so he couldn't uninstall the old version.
I deleted ITunes in order to re-install it.
But I still have this problem of missing file.

If anyone can help me to solve this problem

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

  • JRE8 U20: CAB file for MSI missing

    Hello @all,
we deploy JRE by extracting the setup to gain the MSI file. In former versions, we got the following files:
    jre_1.8.0_11.msi
    jre1031.MST
    Data1.cab
With Update 20, there is only the MSI file in the folder. When we run the MSI file we get the error message that "one part of the file is corrupt or missing" during the Installation.
Is this by design? If so, which possibilities to we have now to deploy Java by MSI? We do not have a software deployment system, we use Active Directory software Installation which only works with MSI files.
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Ben

    Hello,
I figured this out - the error appears, when you start the MSI file directly per double click. When you install it per command line (msiexec /i ...) it works.
    Where is the difference?
    Best regards
    Ben
