Thanks for the AcroQtp Addin ,it works fine with most of the pdf form in a browser.
But i am not able to identify some XFA list box and edit box .
In my pdf form some objects are getting identifed and some are not
Please help me in this

I am not able to view some PDF files in Safari

When I try to view a link to a PDF file using Safari in Mavericks I am told to open Adobe Acrobat. I do not have that and do not want to buy it. If I use Firefox I can view the PDF.
Here is an example of the message I get from Safari:

You need to launch the Adobe Reader app from your Applications folder and accept the license agreement.
The message is generic and refers to Acrobat or Reader as "Acrobat".
You don't see that with Firefox because it has its own PDFJSViewer built in.

Not able to produce some Czech characters in pdf using java.

Hi All,
I am not able to produce some Czech characters like ě and č in pdf using java. Can you please guide me what could be the cause. The characters are coded in properties file and its just neglecting č and ě and taking other character next to it.
we have used below code to display the characters but its also not working..first we thought its font issue since Helvetica dont come by default in windows but after putting helvetica font also we are not able to produce the characters.

we are not able to print in pdf format with using a template, if we use default layout we are getting a pdf output,If your scenario with APEX Listener is generally capable of producing a PDF when using a working template, than the error is very likely to be in your template, not in APEX Listener.
If that's the case, you'll probably find more people with experiences on how to build custom xsl-templates into your APEX application in the APEX forum: {forum:id=137}.
If you decide to post there (or even if you think it's better to continue here), please provide information on your APEX and APEX Listener version and whether you see some error information in APEX Listeners log when trying your own template or not. If you don't see anything there right now, enabling debug mode will make the log more verbose and probably provide a hint on which part of your template can't be processed properly by the FOP built into APEX Listener.

I was combining different types of files into a single PDF. Some of them were excel spreadsheets and I had set the print areas in each file. When I cleared the print area the problem stopped. So I am assuming that had something to do with it. Though I am not sure.
The strange thing was that I was able to open the excel source documents after creating the faulty PDF but some of the MS word source documents also had "access denied" status. I still cannot figure that part out.

Make sure the pdf has the '.pdf' extension on the file name. I've seen this a few times and adding the extension usually solves the problem.

Not able to delete some of the pages in subpage

Hi,
I am not able to delete some of the subpages in a pagegroup and it gives the following error mentioned below can any one shed some light so that it can be fixed.
the error that surprised me during the page deletion is
Internal error (WWC-00006)
Error while deleting page. (WWC-44130)
Unexpected error - User-Defined Exception (WWC-35000)
Unexpected error - User-Defined Exception (WWC-35000)
Path ID does not exist. (WWC-50001)
this is the same problem with some of the pages is the same page group but a different set of subpages.
My portal version is 10.1.2.0.2 (Build: 150).

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad. Part of the problem in helping is likely that there is no program Adobe -- that is the company name. You are in the Acrobat forum, but it sounds like you have subscribed to Export PDF or such, a different program. The subscription to Acrobat is currently $19.99 per month.

SQL Developer is not able to identify the Tnsnames.ora file

Hi,
I have installed the following in the laptop having Win XP:
1) Oracle 10gR2 Client software in the D: drive of laptop. Tnsnames.ora is located in this clients Network\Admin path. This client is used to access the databases on the other servers.
2) Oracle 10gR2 Database software in the E: drive of laptop. Right now there is not Tnsnames.ora file in this softwares Network\Admin path. This db software has been installed to create local databases in the laptop.
3) Oracle SQL Developer Version 2.1.1.64 is also installed in C: drive of laptop.
The problem which now I'm facing is that the SQL Developer is not able to identify the Tnsnames.ora file mentioned in the above point-1 which contains entries of databases on the different servers. Could you please help me out in solving this problem?

I forget what version I was using at the time, but when I had an ORACLE_HOME defined for the environment and TNSNAMES file defined in SQL Developer (different one than was in ORACLE_HOME), that I would see results from both tns files. I don't know if that is still the case. I have since dropped my ORACLE_HOME environmental variable.

I am not able to open any PDF documents, what I just see is blank screen in new tab.

I am not able to open any PDF link in Firefox(I downloaded and installed latest version) but able to open easily in other browsers.

I have seen that same complaint a lot in this forum, and I don't know how to fix this. Download the PDF to your local disk, then open it from there.
Alternatively use a different browser like Firefox.

Just quick thought i believe you installed a business content datsource along with the transfer rules and then after writing this transport request you tried to delet the transfer rules right?
Suggestion is just reactivate the data source and take a new transport request and make sure about all the objects got saved under the new request and transport it.

I have a iMac and Macbook pro at work and at home also, all less than two years old, one two weeks old, and I have noticed the same behavior. As in your case it has been going on for a couple of months or so. Depending on the download speed the page eventually loads and it never happens later in the evening or early in the am. Have a PC that has the same issue among others. My ISP says it's a bottleneck problem that they have no control over. Minor irritation, if yours is more than that it may be something else but I wouldn't try to fix something that might not be broken, give it some time my connection speeds have been better lately and haven't noticed it as much if at all.
