ACS administration page https fail to connect

Hello
Please help me to access to the admin page of  CISCO ACS 4.1 Software !!
First i was able to connect with http and https, the certification (for https) was ' auto-assigning certification' but after a modification by error of the local administrator , they change auto-assigning to CA externe. After that, a message appear ' certification expire error -8101'
I try to create a new certification in The CA and install it to ACS server; don't work
The Great problem is i can't access the ACS web page to change the configuration.
(telnet or SSH don't work)
Tell me please if they is some modification i can do solve this issue !
Thanks

You might need to re-image it.
The other option is,
Per bug CSCsm85466    Enhancement request for ACS to remove the Https configuration, Cisco provided a script to remove https from the configuration for ACS windows.
If yours is ACS for windows, you can use that script to remove it.
If you have ACS appliance, you can do a
1. backup
2. restore it on ACS for windows,
3. use the script to remove https config
4. backup it and then restore it on ACS appliance.
Please open a TAC case to get help on this.

  • Administrator page will not display

Running Windows 2003 server with Sun webserver and CFMX 6.1
Upgraded to CFMX 7. Followed instructions to install in the
default directory c:\cfmx7. Next step was to open CFMX
    administrator page (http:\\127.0.0.1\cfide\administrator\index.cfm)
to run the upgrade wizard. The problem is the page opens but does
not display properly. Displays in the browser as a jumble of text.
It also shows that it is opening under version 6.1.
    Any suggestions?

Sounds like perhaps the web server connector for Sun
    Webserver hasn't updated itself correctly?
I remember having loads of manual hacking fun with
connectors, multiple instances back with iPlanet and early versions
    of SunOne webserver 6.

  • RV120W Administration Page The connection was reset

I have a problem with RV120W, I can connect to internet and all, but I cannot get into administration page, once I input the username and password, it always comes back with.
    The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
That happens with Firefox and IE, any idea how to get it fixed?

    Rene,
Thank you for posting the fix. I tend to do that without even thinking about it so I forget that it can solve the problem. I had the same issue with an ISA550 recently and using https solved it.

  • Connection refused: proxy: HTTP: attempt to connect to failed [error] ap_proxy_connect_backend disabling worker

    Hi all,
I'm investigating cause of a wedged wiki this morning. The MacMini (10.7.5) was working well for the last year but we're not sure when it gave up the ghost.
I've already applied the fixes detailed at Mac OS X v10.5, Mac OS X Server v10.5: Web, Mail, Wiki, Personal Web Sharing, Parental Controls services may not start after restoring a Time Machine backup but it has't helped.
The error we see when we visit the top level of the server is:
    Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

The message in the httpd error logs is:

Let me know if you have any ideas.  Thank you.

    Thanks for the reply.
So, there were some Ruby related log file entries. Do these have any meaning to you?  I'm checking to see what collabcored2 does exactly.

Any suggestions on what I can ask my IT department to change on the server so I can connect would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
From the error and other description it seems that there is some misconfiguration with setup. You need to provide the FQDN name of the server as might server name is not resolving its name properly and so facing issue. As seems from below details:
    [2014-Nov-26 15:52:20] RDP (0): Final rdp configuration used:gatewayhostname:s:gato.gibbscam.com
    screen mode id:i:0
    use multimon:i:1
    session bpp:i:24
    full address:s:dev-JeremyS2.gibbs.local
Configuration used and full address name both appears different so please verify configuration accordingly.
Please check the DNS record, check certificate whether it match FQDN name of the server with certificate name, also try to check to connect with IP address and see what result you can find.
You can follow below guide to configure RD Gateway and after that verify the result.
    1. Deploying Remote Desktop Gateway RDS 2012
    2. How To Work with RD Gateway in Windows Server 2012
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks.

  • 12c design view of JSF page fails to render with 'Loading failed  Reason: Connection reset by server'

When in the design view of a JSF page, the page never renders in JDeveloper 12c.  Instead I get an error message 'Loading failed   Reason: Connection reset by server'.  I traced this to a conflict with the port used by Cisco Anyconnect (5001) which seems to be something JDeveloper uses as well to render the page.  Is there a way to change the port used to render the page in design mode?  I could not find any settings in the preferences.

    Hi Frank,
The proxy settings are set to use the system default proxy settings in JDev and I have not needed to change it when VPN'ed.
The product that is in conflict is the 'AnyConnect Web Security Agent' (acwebsecagent.exe) which runs whether I am on vpn or am in the office - it is listening on port 5001 and that is the same port jdev64w.exe is listening to when rendering the page in the design mode.  I confirmed this using netstat -ab.  After  getting the conflicting program switched off temporarily, the design mode of the page was rendered within the IDE so that I could then drop components on the design surface.
Since I cannot get the Cisco product to listen on a different port, I am hopeful there is a way to modify the port used by JDev.
    Thanks,
    Sunil

  • Safari Fails to Open Page- Cannot Establish Secure Connection

I am using Safari at my home comuputer (Dell, Windows XP. I recently installed it within the past two weeks. Just this Sunday, I noticed that there are several pages that I haven't been able to view and the same message "Safari can’t open the page “https://cavs.bpcc.edu/” because it couldn’t establish a secure connection to the server “cavs.bpcc.edu”" pops up, except it uses the current URL.
I have to open it in Internet Explorer to view it. What's the deal? I tried looking at my security settings.

I have the same problem on my macbook. Happens for certain sites.
I get the same or similar message from safari and opera.
It doesn't happen on my imac, which is sitting on the same wireless network.
    Any ideas please?

  • Safari can't open the page https

Frustrating to say the least. About a week ago whilst in Google mail, Safari failed to open an email instead it opened a page displaying the message Safari can’t open the page “https"//mail.google.com" etc
A page refresh also failed to open the page as did a my attempt to "Sign out".
Later that day the same problem occurred when I was using my bank's website. Oddly, when I turned to Camino and it too failed to open Googlemail and the bank's site. On my MacBook both sites worked from both applications. Add if I use a different user account on my Mac Pro, I don't have the problem.
My account is a “Standard” user. A logout and back in and it works again, a reboot and it works again but after a couple of hours the problem returns:
Any help welcomed as the following steps have failed to resolve the issue:
    Empty Safari cache
    Reset Safari
Uninstall Safari 4.0 beta and re-install Safari 3
    Re-install Safari 4.0 beta
Swaped ethernet connection on my Mac Pro
    Verify Disk Permissions
    Repair Disk Permissions
Delete website history with "Adobe, Website Storage Settings panel"
    Reset router
    Rebooted Smoothwall
    ClamXav found nothing
    DNSChanger Removal Tool found nothing
iServices Trojan Removal Tool found nothing
    removed .GlobalPreferences.plist
    Thx
    John

    Hi John
Google Mail has been problematic on Safari 4. There are a number of threads in the Safari 4 Beta forum addressing the issue.
Thanks for posting the steps you have taken so far.
In a broader sense, security certificates are at the root of secured sites functioning. Those certificates are part of the Keychain file in HD>System>Library>Keychains. Perhaps, the keychain file needs repair. Open Keychain Access in your Applications>Utilities folder. In the Keychains Menu, select "Keychain First Aid">repair. If any errors appear, rerun until you get a clean pass.
If no errors appear, you may have to reestablish the keychain entries in your Standard account. Do you have administrative privileges assigned to that account?
Also, I'm not familiar with Smoothwall's operation/setup, however, some tweaking of its settings may be necessary. Here's some dated technospeak about Smoothwall and Safari.

When I try to access this address in a browser, I get a 401 error
    with the message below.

sooner I can resolve, the better.
    Any help appreciated. thanks,

I'm afraid I won't be of much help except to say that this is
a classic permissions issue. I have to assume you've checked and
double-checked the link referred to in your post (which is a good
    one).
You might also try this technote:
    Publishing
    to RoboEngine
In helping others troubleshoot this, it sometimes turns out
that there are firewall issues that are not obvious especially if
you are in a large organization crossing many domains from author
to server. Are you the ultimate "server admin" or is there someone
in your organization's network admnistration who could help resolve
    the permission issue?
Sorry I can't be of immediate help.

  • Can't Access the web administration page

    Hello,
I have a new Linksys router that I installed a few months ago.  I am trying to connect my PS3 using wireless.  the PS3 sees the access point SSID, but keeps failing to connect.  I have double/triple check the WEP2 key and it is correct.  I am also having problems accessing the web administration page.  I keep getting page not found.  I don't think that I have access the web administration page since I set it up.  I can ping the router, so I know that its up, along with getting out to the Internet, I have used NMAP and scanned the router, but only 10080 is open (PS3) port.  I assume that the default URL for the web administration page is http://192.168.1.1.  There is no port needed to put in the URL is there?  Also, since NMAP showed no ports open does that mean that the web server in the router is not listen?  If so how do I connect without having to reset the router?
I do have some Cisco Linksys app that shows a GUI of my network, but no adminisration help.
    Thanks,

    Who is your ISP..?
Are you able to go online on the wired computer...?
Make sure the computer is connected to the router on the Ethernet port and check the ip address first...Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt...A black box will appear(Command Prompt)...In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig and press 'Enter'...Look for Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway...
IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1)...
If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...If it gives you request timed out then disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer...
If you get 4 replies then,Adjust the browser settings....Open an IE, click Tools >> Internet Options, then delete all files, cookies, history, forms...Goto "Connections", make sure Never Dial a Connection is checked, click on LAN Settings and make sure all the options are unchecked...Once you are done click on O.k...Close the IE and re-open it...
Now,try to open the setup page again...

  • Network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server keeps reverting to user set 4

I didn't used to have this problem as far as I'm aware, but as of recently, I've noticed that if I try to download more than 4 of one thing at a time from the same site, it would fail. For instance, if I have up 5 web pages of streaming content, only 4 will load, the other 5th one will do nothing until I finish one of the others. Upon looking up some information on this, I saw that the network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server is set at "user set = 4", and if I change that number to anything else, it corresponds. If I click to 'reset' the number, it goes to the default of 6 - which is still less than what it used to be. I used to not even have a limit on this as far as I'm aware, or if I did, it was well beyond 10 and that wasn't a product of me manipulating it.
    What I'm asking is this:
    1) How do I make this so it permanently switches to a higher number? Every time I reset it to 6 or I manually change the number to something higher, once I close it, those settings go back to 4.
    2) Why is it reverting and not staying the way I change it?
    3) What's the purpose of this and why is it just recently doing it when I haven't put any new add-ons or made any other refinements to Firefox that I'm aware of?
    Any help would be appreciated

Two possible causes for it resetting to 4 that I can think of.
    # You have an add-on handing that pref and that is resetting it to 4 when Firefox is restarted.
    # That pref is set via user.js and that causes it to go to that value as Firefox starts.

  • Apex fails to connect after rebooting XE

    Hi:
My environment is Apex 4.0.0, Oracle XE 10.2.0, Apex default Gateway, Windows 2008 32 bit.
After I reboot the database, Apex fails to connect.
If I check the Apex port number, it lists 8080, as expected. (SELECT DBMS_XDB.GETHTTPPORT FROM DUAL;)
Look at the Oracle Listener status below after the reboot, notice the host value in line
    (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=127.0.0.1)(PORT=8080))(Presentation=HTTP)(Session=RAW))
When I reset the Apex port number to 8080, I can then connect OK (EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8080); )
Look at value of HOST in the Oracle Listener status below after the reset, the HOST lists the Server Name.
    (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=galapp13.bsci.bossci.com)(PORT=8080))(Presentation=HTTP)(Session=RAW))
This is a major problem, because if the Server is rebooted, nobody can connect to Apex.
I assume this is an Oracle Listener problem.
I have made no changes to the LISTENER.ora file, see values below.

    Hi
Where did you find the latest WLan driver?
Here on this Toshiba driver page you can find the latest Wlan driver:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
I recommend uninstalling firstly the old driver and then to install the newer version.
Furthermore its necessary to update the BIOS. I read in the forum that similar issues could be solved by BIOS update.

  • Hyper-V Remote Admin on a Domain - Failed to connect to root\cimv2

I'm trying to configure our Hyper-V server so that a user on our domain has administrative control.  Our Hyper-V server is on the domain running 2008 R2 (named SERVER85 below), and the client is on Win 7 Ent x64 (named DEV03 below, username accuraty\jkessel).
In the output below you can see that it appears we might have a problem with this user's access to the WMI path root\CIMv2, but if I pull up the advanced security settings for that node in WMI, I see:
    Name: Justin Kessel ([email protected])
Apply to: This namespace and subnamespaces
Permissions allowed: "Enable Account" and "Remote Enable" (no others, no denies).
IMHO, the server, the desktop, and user are all fairly "vanilla" with nothing unusual going on.  Maybe one thing worth noting: our Small Business Server 2008 (i.e. domain controller) is running as a VPS on SERVER85, so SERVER85 never boots with the
domain controller on.  This hasn't ever caused problems except that the machine always thinks it's firewall should be in the "work" configuration instead of the "domain" configuration.  I tested running the HVRemote script while the SERVER85 firewall
was turned off, and I get exactly the same results below.
One more note: this user currently can logon through RDP to SERVER85 and administer Hyper-V just fine.  This user is *not* a domain admin or an admin on that server - I've simply provided him with the right permissions to be able to RDP and admin Hyper-V
    only.
We used HVRemote and it output this info when run on the client:

***** Error:     -2147024891 Access is denied.
    ***** Namespace: root\cimv2
FAIL - Was unable to connect. Diagnosis steps:
         - Have you run hvremote /add:user or hvremote /add:domain\user
           on server85 to grant access?
         - Are you sure the server name 'server85' is correct?
         - Did you use cmdkey if needed? More information higher up.
         - Did you restart server85 after running hvremote /add for
the very first time? (Subsequent adds, no restart needed.)
         - Is DNS operating correctly and was server85 found?
Look at the output of tests 1 and 2 above to verify that the
IPv4 address matches the output of 'ipconfig /all' when run on
server85. If you do not have a DNS infrastructure,
           edit \windows\system32\drivers\etc on DEV03
to add an entry for server85.

3 warning(s) or error(s) were found in the configuration. Review the
detailed output above to determine whether you need to take further action.
    Summary is below.
1: Anonymous Logon does not have remote access (may be ok)
2: You *may* need to set credentials for access to the server
    3: Cannot connect to root\cimv2 on server85
    I'd greatly appreciate some help!

  • Failed to connect to backend system

    Hello,
I have installed visual composer and experience some errors.
My system fails to connect to the backend system in VC. I am able to create SAP transaction iviews for the system, see the alias, and user mapping is configured.
When I perform the System Connection test for my system which based on the load balancing template. All the test fail except the ITS test.
    - SAP Web AS - SAP Web Application Server
    - ITS Connection Tests the connection to an SAP
    - Connection Test for Connectors Tests
    - Connection Test Through DQE
Must all these test pass, or is it enough with only a subset of these tests. Does the alias have to be the same as the logical system.

    Hi Jørgen,
It is a genuin problem. Just tell your Portal Administrator to give the userid (which you are using to log in to the portal from VC) the full authority for the alias you want to access from VC, as it is the portal administrator who has the rights to give access to various portal users. In the portal, the administrator can give a user the access to an alias by selecting that alias and change the required property.
Try the following flow to get the required document:-

Check out the given help document, I hope it will help you in solving your problem.
