With aaa-reports! you can import the ACS database (package.cab or dump.txt) and then run an inactive user report against this and the accounting records imported.
If ACS has the password ageing feature enabled we can see the last authenticated date/time stored in each ACS user account.
Obviously the second method is the most accurate as doesnt require any accounting data.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

ACs For Windows 4.1.(1) build 23

We´ve got two Windows 2003 Server R2 machines, with installed Cisco ACS For Windows 4.1.(1) Build 23 used for RADIUS users authentication and now days we´re trying to deploy now a TACACS+ configuration to the network device manage now from those ACSs, TACACS+ Accounting tab works fine, but the Accounting administration records or logs are updated but when I click on the TACACS+ Administration Tab the showed log files are empty, I knew about a bug in the 4.1 versión, the question is?
Can I fix the issue if I upgrade or install only the 4.1.1.23-5 patch?
It´ll be enough?

Password History Validation - ACS for Windows 4.2.x

I'm evaluating the Secure ACS for Windows v4.2 platform against PCI DSS v2.0, specifically the "Implement Strong Access Control Measures" section.
We currently run version 4.0(1) Build 27 and use local user and password management.
For a variety of reasons I'd prefer to maintain this approach rather than pursue integration with an external identity store such as AD, but I need to know whether or not the in-bult password validation options are stringent enough to meet all of the relevant requirements.
I believe from the research I've done so far that version 4.2.x should meet the majority, but there is one in partiuclar about validation of previously used passwords that I'm still unclear on.
In the "Local Password Management" section of the ACS 4.2.1 User Guide (Text Part Number: OL-20208-01) it states that the password validation options include "Password is different from the previous value".
The PCI standard states: "Do not allow an individual to submit a new password that is the same as any of the last four passwords he or she has used."
Q) How many previous passwords is the newly submitted password validated against? Is it just the last one or will it check against more? Is there any way to configure how many it checks against?
Any help or guidance very much appreciated.

After login in to ACS application. You can click on the Cisco logo on top left... You can find the patch version.please refer the below screen shot.

Unable to get Windows User Name using Oracle Forms 6i, Jinitiator 1.3.1.17

Requirement: Get Windows User Name using Oracle Web Forms 6i.
Tools Using: Windows NT, Oracle web forms 6i, Oracle 10g DB.
Description: I am using GetClientInfo JBean from otn.oracle.com, which gets windows user name, IP address and machine name. The demo I got from oracle web site uses Jinitiator version 1.1.7.18. While we are using the latest version Jinitiator 1.3.1.17. Due to this reason, I am unable to use Javakey which comes with older version but doesn't come with newer version, that's why I can't create the new JavaBean Java identity (PJC).
Please advise what to do. All environment variables are set everything is done, this is the only thing bothering me.
I went through the article 202768.1 from metalink, but on step 5, it gives an error keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Input not an X.509 Certificate.
Also, please let me know if there is any other workaround for this requirement.

Thanks for your kind reply. Actually there was a problem in creating a certificate, now it is okay with the same method. Certificate got imported on client and everything is ready.
Now, the problem is when I try to set Bean Area Implementation Class property with oracle.forms.demos.GetClientInfo, it gives an error FRM-13008 Cannot find JavaBean with name 'oracle.forms.demos.GetClientInfo'.
I went through the articles 1072329.6, 196824.1, and set ClassPath and Path variables with proper values. Also, I have copied jar file and signature file in forms60/java folder. I don't see any problems. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. My limitation is that I have to do all this in forms6i.
I searched forums on metalink and found out that someone installed Patch 15, and everything went okay for him. Do you think I should install Patch 15? if YES, how will I do it, I mean should I first uninstall my forms and then install patch15 or install the patch on my forms?

Help with PDF formsmaking them work for Windows users

I'm using a new user of Acrobat 8.0.0 and having a helluva time figuring out how to make PDF forms that work for Windows users.
I can make the forms okay and Mac users can fill them out (using either Preview or Reader), and I get them emailed to me just fine. But all of the PC users that I send them to tell me that they "can't save them."
Here's a test PDF I've created (with just a few plain fields in it):

Can someone who's got XP tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or what I can tell my XP users how to save it and be able to email it back with their text.

Worked on my Firefox browser PDF plug-in running XP on my MBP. Opened the completed form in Adobe Reader 9 Windows and all looked fine. Just a note on your fields; date field not properly formatted and once filled, it has the same name as the NAME field. Just make sure our fields are named separately.

ACS for Windows vs ACS Appliance?

First, the only thing I saw on the Appliance was that it was a 'hardened OS'. So I'm assuming like many of their other appliances that this is Windows 2003 locked down? Regardless if it is or not, are there any issues with the appliance being in a mixed environment with ACS for Windows and replication between the two?

When you use ACS for Windows, you install it on a member server, which can "relay" the auth requests to the domain controllers.
ACS SE's are not a member in the domain, therefore you need to install the remote agent on a member/DC, so that it would act as a "relay agent" for the auth requests.
You'll also need to manually create a workstation account in AD to allow auth requests from the ACS SE's.
The default name used is "CISCO", but it can be defined differently.

I have an idea for a firmware update that would go a Long way towards making this product mildly Viable for windows users. It has Many issues from the windows side of things - but one feature addition could make all that tolerable.

How can I share my a public calendar from iCal (through iCloud) with Outlook for Windows users?

I have a public work calendar that I wish to share with colleagues in the office. No issues for those having a Mac or an iPhone, but how can I share the calendar with Outlook for Windows users?

The steps detailed below explain how to go about publicly share a calendar (which doesn't require that one be an iCloud user to accept).
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note: You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Send.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
In the sidebar, a shared calendar has a dark Share button.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.

Is Paragon's "HFS+ for Windows" safe to use in Boot Camp Windows &/or Parallel 8 Windows?

Is Paragon's "HFS+ for WIndows" safe to use for read+write access to HFS+ drives when running Windows [8] via Boot Camp?
Drivers that came with Apple Boot Camp (or maybe Parallels [8]) enable "read-only" access to HFS+ formatted drives from Boot Camped Windows, but I want to be able to write to the drives, too. I'm worrying about whether something in those Apple (or Parallels) drivers for Windows that makes that possible might also conflict with other software like "HFS+ for Windows," maybe even make a risk of corrupting the HFS+ disk (either external or even the OS X boot partition) so badly that everything on it becomes lost.
So I'm looking for people's experiences with using "HFS+ for Windows" with Parallels Desktop [8] for Mac. Is it safe?

Thanks, Templeton. Yes, within OS X using Parallels 8 the integration with the Windows Parallels virtual machine is great. But once I leave the OS X / Parallels environment the folder sharing access disappears. So when I Boot Camp to Windows I have no visibility into the OS X partition nor any external HFS+ drives. (Except for a few specific activities that can only be done in OS X or are best in OS X, I spend almost all my time in Windows, so I usually wouldn't run OS X or Parallels to Windows.)
Thanks GeekBoy. Paragon HFS sounds risky with Parallels. I'll be eager for more feedback about risks of using that combo from whomever can offer it.

Skype for Windows Desktop should use Windows Desktop Scaling

Skype for Windows Desktop should use Windows Desktop Scaling. Right now, on Windows 8.1 with high DPI displays, Skype scales very badly. It is either very blurry with scaling turned on or is too small to see when scaling turned off. This negatively affects not just SMS and IM but also webcams. Since Skype is a Microsoft product it should follow the Microsoft guidelines for desktop scaling, even if it is not a Windows 8.1 specific application. There are a multitude of other applications, like Firefox and Internet Explorer, that work perfectly with desktop scaling. Skype should do this, too.

I see this thread is over a year old and still no fix for this issue. Just 'upgraded' from old Vista laptop to new hi res Asus N551 with Windows 8.1 and Skype Desktop looks crap! Blurry fonts and pictures, webcam image terrible. In short a disgrace. I hate the kiddies version on Windows 'Metro' style app by the way. So, looked up support and only solution suggested was to retore my custom desktop scaling option back to 100%. Obviously I am not doing that otherwise I would be unable to read the resultant microscopic text in Windows 8.1. So if anyone does have another, workable, solution I be pleased to hear it.After over a year though the Skype team really should make scaling for Skpe Deskto a No. 1 priority.
