ACS1113 services degraded.

Hi all,
A ACS1113 appliance is having their services degrading on the normal production hours.
i have checked the memory usage and i think its too high..
the total physical free memory is 84MB this could be rated as a memory leak bug ? or this high memory usage is normal on this device ?
This status i got latter at night with the load for this ACS is very low.

Thank you.

Hi,
A package.cab file would help from the ACS in this case when you see performance degradation
However looking at the output you provided i see this box has been UP since last more the 2 years. Will  rebooting  appliance an option for you ? If yes we can do that and observe that for few week and see if you get that behavior
again ?
Thanks

  • Service degradation - post here?

Verizon provides without question the best service in my neighborhood - until today. Something must have happened to a tower or something (Boulder, Colorado in the Newlands/Sanitas neighborhood). Any ideas on where to report this service degradation? My wife is also a Verizon customer and her service has also been terrible today. Just want to make Verizon aware.

  • Atlanta service degradation?

Has anyone else noticed a serious service degradation in Atlanta in the last couple of months? I've had problems that I haven't seen since my early days with my first iPhone.
    Things like:
--A long time to connect a call (or sometimes the call doesn't go through at all.)
--Little or no available bandwidth in areas I used to have no trouble. Mostly this just results in timeouts when trying to access something online.
I'm just trying to figure out if this is unique to me or a general malaise.
    Thanks, Jeff

  • AP541N-K9-1.9(2) - Service Degradation

I have 4x AP-541N clustered on my network, connected via Ethernet to a network switch.  I think I have experienced most of the problems previous posters have mentioned.  Can a member of Cisco support provide an update regarding degradation of service?  At any given time, it would appear that 1 of my 4 AP's is suffering from poor signal strength, the AP is always different.  The symptoms can last between 1-5 hours, the event log does not indicate that there is a problem.  The user experiance's an average data transfer rate of between 1-5 Mbps or alternatively, the network appears unavailable.
    Is the advise below the only suggested fix;
Try to just disable 'Key Refresh' in each VAP.   Set the Broadcast Key Refresh Rate to 0 for each vap that does WPA(personal or enterprise).
I look forward to receiving a reply.
    Regards,
    Paul Mitchell

Oddly, I reapplied the software upgrade and now my iPhone connected with no problem.  I can not determine the root cause of the connection issue.  Will update further as I find information.

  • BT Infinity - service degraded following outage. ...

    Dear All
I experienced an outage on Sunday lasting from sometime on Sunday afternoon all the way through until the early hours of Monday morning.  Flashing orange light on BT Home Hub 5 router.
Prior to last Sunday - my download speed was 41Mb and my upload speed was 7Mb.
Spoke to Broadband and Technical Helpdesk in India on Sunday evening who booked an engineer appointment for Tuesday 6th January 2015.
I noted on Monday morning that my HomeHub 5 was reporting that the connection had re-established however download had dropped by 4Mb and upload had dropped 5Mb.
Tuesday 6th January 2015 - I had to take an unpaid day off work to accomodate the engineer.  Called Broadband and Technical Helpdesk in India on Tuesday morning at 8:30am to confirm that the engineer was still booked, at which time I could have still gone to work.  Stayed in all day - engineer didn't turn up.
After long calls and tests with Broadband and Technical Helpdesk in India on Tuesday afternon I requested an engineer which was declined.  I was advised that a manager (provided with a name) would call me back today (Wednesday 7th January 2015).  No call back.
More long calls with Broadband and Technical Helpdesk in India this evening.  After various line tests and checks, I was advised that there wasn't anything they could do.  Requested an engineer.  Declined.
Something happened to my BT Infinity connection on Sunday, and I suspect physical modification or interference either at the cabinet or in between my building and the cabinet.
I would be very grateful if someone could please advise how I can request an engineer to come and review the physical aspects of my line including the cabinet presentation.  My connection was perfect before Sunday, for 10 months.
    Many thanks.

I am using the standard BT issued equipment and cable from the BT wall socket to the BT Home Hub 5 router.
The fact is that something physical has changed and this appears to be associated with the outage which I experienced on Sunday.
I am expecting a procedural return call from Broadband and Technical Helpdesk in India however I expect this to be purely procedural with no change or help.  But then again, the original assigned engineer did not turn up and I did not receive an arranged call yesterday as promised by the previous technical representative.
Could anyone answer the following questions:
    - Given that this service is critical to my day to day work, I would be willing to pay for an engineer (even though I didn't cause the problem), as the cost of slow upload access is probably in excess of the cost of a BT engineer.
    - Is it possible to cancel this service and order a new service?  I can live without broadband for a couple of weeks by working in a central London office, knowing that a new BT Infinity provision will provide my previous connection speed.
    Many thanks

  • Service degradation with Mifi 2200/early termination fee

We use our Mifi to provide Internet access to my rural house that is about five miles from the nearest DSL connection. The Mifi replaced HughesNet in February 2011 -- and we've been very pleased with the service up until this month. We pretty consistently had about 2.85 - 3 Mbps download speeds. We have the 10GB plan.
On May 8 we noticed my previously decent connection is now worse than HughesNet. When we can connect and we can only connect one device at a time, it's very slow (0.06 Mbps download/0.09 Mbps upload according to Speedtest.net). We're well under our usage limit for the month.
We noticed some work going on at two local towers and waited it out.
Last Tuesday (May 22), since it appears the work on the towers is over and one of my neighbors said their Verizon cell phones were completely down for two days, I called Customer Service and worked with them and their script for two hours before the genuinely trying-to-be-helpful woman on the other end said she'd have to submit a ticket to technical support to have someone come out to my house. They would call me. I'm still waiting for that call.
Last night I took the mifi and my iPad about 25 miles down the road to see if maybe it was the mifi. On the side of the road, near a couple cell towers (don't know if they were Verizon), I was able to get 1.85 Mbps download speed. Not wonderful, but better than HughesNet on a good day.
Do I have any option to get any money back for service they are NOT providing?
Can I get any kind of break on the early termination fee if I have to cancel because Verizon is unable/unwilling to fix the problem with their tower? (I live in a sparsely populated area--so they don't have hundreds of customers screaming about it.)
What is the early termination fee for a Mifi 2200? (I've looked all over the website and am unable to find it).
    Thanks for your advice.

    Hello,
    To answer your questions:
    1. There are no options for a "refund" on your service.
    2. Yes. Call them up and mention you wish to leave for service related reasons. VZW should be leniant and atleast offer you a discount if not cover the entire fee.
    3. ETF $175.00 for these devices.  The ETF is pro-rated for each month of service you used the device.  I believe the ETF is reduced $10.00 per month.
Service related problems are hard to argue.  Either the service is good enough in your area or it is not.  Sometimes there is seasonal interferance that naturally goes away and comes back over time, its not always worth it to wait it out.  Some users are successful with antennas and amplifiers to improve the signal strength.  Conducting a site survey should give you some confidence in a decision to invest in that equiptment before you buy.

  • EDGE OF RAIN MOVING AROUND 3G service degrading

Is anyone else in Rural area experiencing horrible service? It is worse than the dialup days here.  Last summer things in exact same location were going great with USB 760 and decent speeds.  Now it sees the mobile at connect but switches to national access right away where it takes minutes to load a page.  Any way to tell it I don't want to bother if it isn't 3g? How does VZ get worse? I spoke with Tech Support and was told I am on the edge of the rainstorm or something.  The map on VZ web pages continues to show nuttin' but nice red full coverage for 3G like it did last summer?

I have had a broadband signal for about 5% of the time for three days in a row. I downloaded a 16.6mb file yesterday, TOOK 25 MINUTES.  I downloaded a 32mb file yesterday, TOOK 57 MINUTES.  AVERAGED ABOUT 10kbs.  Our cellphones still run the gamut of signal strength, FROM 1 BAR TO 5 BARS, CHANGING EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES.  I initiated a trouble ticket on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd, #4168339, AND HAVE NOT SEEN ANY IMPROVEMENT IN MY SERVICE. I get the same thing when I log on, see an EVDO signal, then as soon as it connects it drops the EVDO and all I have is the 1X, which is actually slower than the old dialup days.  Web pages take forever to load, I get kicked off the system and have to log back on.  Verizon does not seem to care about this problem.  You're about the 5th person to complain in this forum in the past week, so it's not just one person's equipment.  They have a problem.  They need to fix the problem.

  • Why is 4g service degraded in Franklin, TN in the area of Williamson Medical Center?

Starting a few days ago, I and several coworkers have noticed that we cannot get 4G service in the area of Williamson Medical Center. There is construction in that area. Could the construction have damaged or interrupted 4G service? I have also had difficulty with unsent text messages.
    Thank you.

I appreciate you taking the time to reach out. I want to ensure that you and your fellow coworkers have a positive experience with service. Does data service revert to 3G while in the area or do you receive no data at all? May I ask how far do you have to go before 4G service is restored?

  • Azure Service (Health) Dashboard - Accuracy and timeliness of service status indicators

The Azure SHD is a really nice tool to get an overview over current service degradation and interruptions. But currently I am wondering what the more accurate or recent status of an incident is.
In the following example the incident is classified as "Service Interruption" however the title of this entry describes this incident as degredation:
    http://imgur.com/f2nztVf
There are many more examples where the title of an incident report doesn't match with the status indicator. That's why I wanted to ask what the more accurate/recent classification information is: The title of an incident or the (icon) classification?

    Hi phreazer,
    Thanks for posting!
Base on my experience, I think classification of incident reports is by Regions and Clusters Impacted and Customer Impacted. The icon of legend only shown the severity level of incident. I think you could use those icons to classify the severity levels.
    Hope it helps.

  • Linux install server and solaris 10

    Hi,
I am trying to learn Solaris as a student. I bought a SPARC (Netra T105 UltrasparcII) server on ebay which requires a network install as there is no cd-rom, or keyboard.
I only have a linux box (like I said, I'm a stingy student) to use as an install server, there is a few tutorials out there to try and do this, but none for Solaris 10. I have been hacking away at this for days, but cannot get it to install. I have the sparc server using RARP and then getting the /etc/bootparams file and downloading the boot files, but it does not get to locating the jumpstart files or the install files (I dont know if I can install from the terminal using the keyboard (without jumpstart) - I have not got that far yet).
I always get this, like it cannot find the install directory, I was wireshark on the linux boot server and see loads of NFS traffic after the TFTP download, but cannot seem to see what part it actually at. I have a detailed log at the bottom from putty. Any help greatly appreciated.Cheers

/sbin/install-discovery: information: not foundHmm. That looks like the image file is corrupt. Can you pull the image from media again? Can you see if there's a /sbin/install-discovery file in the image (usually under Tools/Boot/root). I recall there used to be a problem with that file.
    Linux box setup:
    /etc/bootparams
solaris root=192.168.2.10:/home/sunos/Solaris_10/Tools/Boot rootopts=rsize=32768 boottype=:in install=192.168.2.10:/home/sunos_install/Solaris_10/Product sysid_config=192.168.2.10:/home/sunos_install/jumpstart/sysidcfg install_config=192.168.2.10:/home/sunos_install/jumpstart/jumpstart.confIf you just want an interactive install (prompt for configuration/settings), you don't need sysid_config or install_config. Those are for automated installations.
    TFTP setup from /tftpboot:
    [root@robert tftpboot]# ll
    total 232
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Jun 10 13:55 C0A80214 -> inetboot
    -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 221280 Jun 10 13:47 inetboot
The Openboot can get ahold of the inetboot file and downloads and it and then loads it.
The following directories are exported through NFS
    [root@robert sunos_install]# cat /etc/exports
    #/home/nfs 192.168.2.0/24(ro,sync)
    /home/sunos *(ro,no_root_squash)
    /home/sunos_install *(ro,no_root_squash)
    [root@robert tftpboot]# showmount -e localhost
    Export list for localhost:
    /home/sunos *
    /home/sunos_install *That looks pretty good.
You do have the option of running VMware on linux, and putting a Solaris 10 image on it, then using that VM as your boot server. But the problem you're displaying doesn't appear to be related to the linux server.

  • Same batch is reserved with many times during reservation

    Hello Expert
I am facing a problem during reservation of material with Batch no.
      Suppose
A1 is reserving material with batch(0000179) with quantity 300
A2 is also reserving the same material with same batch(0000179 ) with same quantity 300
my question is as follows with two conditions.
                  1) condition-1  material is in stock with 300 quantity only.
suppose  A1  has reserved material with same batch&same quantity before A2
if A2 also trys to reserve same material with same batch&same quantity or differenet quantity after
                      reserving by A1.
system should throws error message that material is already reserved first by A1 for the same batch.
                 2) condition-2  material is in stock with 600 quantity only.
suppose  A1  has reserved material with same batch&same quantity before A2
if A2  trys to reserve same material with same batch&same quantity
system should  allow to reserve the material  to A2 with  the same batch&same quantiy.
please guide me to overcome this problem.
    Best Regards & Thanks

I have the exact same problem. When I signed up 2 years ago I had great service in my house, and now I can't make a phone call even from the driveway. How does service degrade so badly? My contract is up in a couple months and I'm probably going to go to T-Mobile because they have WiFi Calling, unless Verizon can fix this. My poor wife works from home and can't even call out anymore.

  • Setting Up a Second Network Interface.

    Hi All,
I am really quite new to Solaris and UltraSpac 10's, so please keep that in mind when responding. (newbie):D
I have a Sun Ultra 10 which appears to have to ethernet ports. One of which I believe looks to be intergrated to the motherboard and the other whcih looks to be attached to a PCI slot.
    Executing the "prtconf" command shows:

When I boot the system I see the likes of:

I can't see a hme1 or anything, is what I am seeing at the back of this Ultra10 box an ethernet port of a NIC?
How can get the (either/or both) NIC to work?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
If you need anymore info, please let me know and I will gladly provide it.
    Regards.
    UPDATE:
    Sorry,
    I don't know what I have done,
but it appears I have a "hme1" in the "Connection Properties" and in ifconfig -a?
Still appears to be disconnected though.

    Hi, Everyone.
Just had a resolution to my problem.
It seems the Network at my workplace has some funny switches.
I used an extra switch between work switch and solaris box and it seems to be all working well.
    Thanks for all your help
