ACSM file reached GOOGLE DEVICE LIMIT

Hi
I recently purchased a E-bbok from Google book and it appears to be a ACFM file. then I downloaded it to my laptop and open it with ADM.
At this point, I authorized my laptop without any ID.
Then the system broke down and I re-installed the OS
When I tried to re open the ACSM file with ADM, it showed E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED.
SO HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM?

I recently formatted windows, in doing so I had backed up my old Adobe Digital Editions library. /Documents/My Digital Editions/ I tried opening an ebook from my Google Book store by downloading. It prompted to login and I selected the option to authorize for this computer. After that I started to receive the error that everyone else got. I think opened up the digital library seeing my books there that I had copied over. It asked me to input my authorization information again. Then everything started to work and I'm not able to download again. Hope that helps.

Help plz this massage comes up when i restore from iCloud.  You have reached your device limit also says Ur apple id has been restored to the maximum number of the time last 90 days.

Have you shared your AppleID with anyone - family member or spouse?  Any given AppleID can only be associated with 10 devices at a time (five of which can be computers).  Once you reach that limit, the 90 day timeout applies before that AppleID can be associated with another, new, device.
You can see the explanation here - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
All you can do is wait the 90 days, sorry but I know of no way around that.  If you think the message indicates an error though, then use the Express Lane web support pages to send a note to the AppleID support folks.

  • "You've reached your device limit"

I am managing 25 ipads for teachers to check out from the same account and I have backed the image up to the cloud.  I can no longer restore from the cloud because I receive an error message that says "You've reached the maximum number of devices in the last 90 days."  Help!

    I too have this problem.
My iPhone was replaced as there was a problem with it. When I attempted to restore from iCloud onto the new phone, I got the message "You've Reached Your Device Limit". I only had 6 devices enabled. All of my contacts, messages, account settings etc. would restore but any third party apps would not, they would be on my home screen, but greyed out and 'Waiting'. Attempting to tap on the app to get the download going would result in the same error message about device limits popping up.
I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Apple about this and a solution wasn't found. Lots of different things were tried, turning iTunes Match off, signing in and out of iCloud and iTunes storeaccounts then restoring the phone. Every time the same thing happened. If I deleted an app, then tried to install it fresh, it too would just say 'Waiting'.
I was able to download an app on my Mac and transfer it across however.
There was a work around though. The Apple person I spoke with contacted the iTunes store team who deleted any apps that were in my download queue. I then deleted all troublesome apps from my iPhone, went back into the app store app, updates, purchases, not on this phone and then reinstalled apps I wanted back.
Not ideal, but at least I have all my apps back. Apple themselves don't know why this is happening and they do have engineeers looking into it. I just hope now nothing happens to my phone and I don't need to restore from iCloud in the next 90 days.
Anyone with this problem I would recommend backing up to iTunes and then if you do have to restore your phone do this through iTunes as the problem is only with iCloud restores I believe.

  • Why am I getting a "You've reached your device limit" error?

Help, I bought a new iPad and got a warranty replacement of my iPhone 5 last night. I restored my iPhone and I got that error, but all of my apps and setting loaded, but then, when I tried to restore my new iPad using my ipad 2's restore, I get that error. I currently have active on my account
    2 iPhone 5's (mine and my wife$
    1 64 gb new iPad
1 16 gb iPad 2 (which is now going off my account and on eBay)
So I don't need the iPad 2 to be synced to my account anymore, but I don't want to delete it until I can start using my new iPad. How do I deactivate my ipad 2 do I to open a slot for my new ipad and  restore it?

I tried this and still have the same issue. I went in a removed a handful of associated devices in Manage Devices in iTunes, restarted my phone and still get the same "You've reached your device limit. This Apple ID has already restored to the maximum number of devices in the last 90 days."
What's really frustrating is that this was caused by having multiple consecutive replacement iPhones from the Genius Bar. When I was given a replacement I restored from my iCloud backup but the phone was defective so I had to get another and do the same the very next day. Now I can't restore any of my third party app data to my current phone and have no path for resolution.
Does this mean I have to wait 90 days to use my apps?!? If thats the case I might as well have my old Nokia Razor.
I'm out of town and away from my primary computer for weeks. Not to mention I've put my faith in iCloud and assumed my content was safe and available when I needed it so I don't have a backup on my computer that I could restore from even when I do make it back home.

  • Managed device limit (110) devices has been reached. Unable to manage more.

I get this message when I am adding more devices after discovery. I have the WLSE 1130 that I just upgraded to 2.12fcs. Need help ASAP.

Earlier to this, I was upgrading from 2.11fc to 2.12, and the install failed and I had to download the 2.12 iso. I already have over 110 devices I was managing, and the show version does say device limit=110. It also says now I have a 1105 not a 1130 anymore. Since there is no replies yet, I'm going to try to restore again with 2.11.

  • Time Capsule 50 Device Limit Question/Help

I have a Time Capsule and I understand they are limited to 50 devices.  Well, I must have reached my 50 device limit, because I can not connect any additonal devices.  How do I go about deleting past devices so newer devices can connect?  I've done a reset, but that does not do it.

    A full factory reset will.
    The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel..  add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.
Set the dhcp server time to 20min.. that will quickly recover the IP of any device that is no longer connected.
A gen3 TC btw is more than 3years old now.. mostly.. and will be unreliable.. it needs replacement.. they are not long life devices.

If you connect an external hard drive with music, iTunes won't know the music exists there until you tell it. There are two simple ways to tell the application about the music. 1) Drag the folder(s) that contain music files onto the iTunes icon on the Dock or 2) select Add to Library from the File menu and then use the fileselector to select the drive with the music.

The backup files for my devices are saved to my internal hard drive. I have a small internal hard drive and would like them to be saved to an external drive. How can I change where iTunes automatically backs up to?

This has nothing to do with iTunes as iTunes provides no way to move or relocate the backup files.
A search of google or the fourms would reveal ways to create a folder link to relocate the physical location where the files are stored.

Great. I'm glad it worked. Others have said you have to clean the cache in Chrome (too much trouble for me)

  • "E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED" error when trying to open an .acsm file inside Adobe Digital Editions

    Good evening,
I get the above error message inside ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS. I did the following before getting this error:
    a) bought three books from Google Play
    b) Downloaded the three .acsm files reffering to the books from the google play online page and added them to library(in Adobe Digital Editions-ADE for abreviation from now on), without using any authorization.
c)the books opened successfully and with no problem.
d)I decided to make Adobe ID. After I made it I made authorization inside ADE and erased in the path ''C:\Users\SEA\Documents\My Digital Editions'' the three pdf files reffering to the books witch where downloaded after completing the steps b and c.
    e) this was where the problem began... from there on I wasn't able to redownload the books again inside ADE so I can read them without using the browser and when I try to reopen the .acsm files(for downloading the books and making them accessible inside ADE) I get the error message ''Error getting license.License server communication problem: E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED'' .
Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this problem?

"Error Getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN".
    Could you please help?
    Thank you.

Hi, I am having the same problem when trying to convert my books from Google Play to epub format on the computer to move to my Nook tablet. Were you able to get any resolution from the content provider? When you say that you erased everything before and after the fulfillmenttoken area, could you be more specific (i.e.did you remove all of the previous content or only the content located in that specific tag?) My html and xml coding is a little rusty so any information you could provide would be extremley helpful. Thank you so much!

  • I'm getting a message ablout files having a 2g limit. what can i do?

I have a new 15" macbook pro. had been messing w/GB several hours then it stops recording and the message comes up.

Is the project you are using on an external drive, and is this drive formatted for mac? If you are using a volume that is still formatted for Windows (MS-DOS (FAT)) you cannot create files with a size larger than 2GB, so GarageBand will stop recording, when the file size reaches the 2GB limit.
If you are using a disk with GarageBand, that is not formatted MacOS X Extended (Journaled) reformat it for Mac OS X using Disk Utility. Formatting will erase the contents, so copy all files you need to save to a different location.
