I am trying to deploy the SampAp sample application that comes with the Planning 9.3.1 installation. I have installed and configured everything successfully and have created, deployed, and uploaded the HFM sample applications just fine, but I am having trouble when trying to deploy the Planning application with the following detail.

Does anyone have experience with error 504 when trying to download a podcast? I've been a subscriber for two years without issue and in the last two days can't download this particular podcast (everything else is working fine - music, other podcasts, etc)

The album was released on the 27th March this year, so the error occurred almost immediately after it was supposedly available.
In the manage pre-orders section of my account, it says AVAILABLE but does not give me any choice over whether to download it, just to cancel it. Is this normal?
iTunes customer services reset my password and tried to download the album themselves, but they also got the 5002 error, so it's been passed off to the engineers. How long does that usually take?
If anyone has any other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Net Framework assembly error 66536 when trying to deploy a project

I'm getting the following when trying to deploy a project from SSDT to SQL Server 2012 SSISDB on an AlwaysOn primary replica. I tried removing SSISDB from the Availability databases but still had the same problem.

Internal Error 500 when trying to open Interactive Form

I ve installed the NetWeaver Java Trial / SUSE Linux 10 Server (VMWare Edition).
It includes a demo scenario, where a new employe needs to confirm the confidentiality aggreement in an interactive form.
When I click on this I get an internal server error 500.
The trial certificate for interactive forms and the svg viewer are installed.
Can anyone bring some light into this?

I am trying to run a web application(J2EE and velocity) that works perfectly fine on Tomcat but doesn't work on weblogic. I was initially getting a nullpointer error but I got rid of it when I removed xercesImpl.jar from my application's library folder and repackaged the war file. However, when I try to run the application now, I get the following error:-

The application has been deployed successfully but I am unable to run it using the link generated in the testing tab. The application. I was wondering if there is any workaround for this error.

The testing link is using, the host:port/contextroot. Note that the URL is per default not accessible and give justly the 403 forbidden error.
When you have an index.jsp (or something similar) in the root of your Web application it will automatically load that one, otherwise
you will get the forbidden message.

Issue with Smart View when trying to connect to Planning/Essbase

I'm facing this issue with Hyperion 11.1.1.3 & 11.1.2. In Excel, I've created a connection in SmartView by giving the URL as http://ServerName:8300/HyperionPlanning/SmartView. After that i'm able to see "Servers" and when i started expanding that, it displayed the server name. When i clicked on the server name, it should display the Planning Application name right ? instead of that just a Cuble symbol is displaying. Do i need to make any settings for proper display of the Planning Application names ? This is perfectly working fine with HFM. I'm able to see HFM application names. Pls. advice

IPod Updates with error message when trying to upgrade iPod software

We now have 3 iPods (2 3rd generation, 1 2nd generation), which are sync'd with a single iMac (running Leopard) with different checked play lists. When either of the 2 3rd generation iPods are attached, it indicates an upgrade is available (v1.1) but when selected indicates "problem downloading the iPod software for the iPod x. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation"

Developing for iphone can be amazingly complicated and frustrating. (even before you start coding). The process of having to create a Certificate, to approving the Certificate, to Assigning the deviceIDs to the certificate, to creating the AppIDs, to creating the provisioning profiles and then creating the .p12 file... is just too tedious.
I solved the problem of the "Entitlements are not valid".   The AppID i had set in the iPhone Developer Portal did not match that of the AppID i had set in the Adobe Flash CS5 -> Publish Settings. (ie. com.yourdomainname.yourappname). After I re-entered my AppID and compile, i was able to sync the .ipa file into my ipad.
I wish the error message had been a little more descriptive. Could have saved me a whole day.
I hope this helps others. But my guess is, if you don't set the 40 character device ID correctly, or the email in the signingcertificate correctly, you'll get this same generic error message.

I have revised the java path, the jato.jar existence in the WEB-INF/lib and i�m out of ideas. Any clue?. Other applications like the Access Manager works seamlessly.

I have observed the same error (java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/iplanet/jato/ApplicationServletBase)
during the Java Enterprise System installation on Fedora 9 and resolved it.
when you install an Appliation Server as part of JavaES,
it looks for some resources (jato.jar,cc.jar,dtd,gif...)
to the path configured by webconsole. for example it is
looking for jato.jar to /opt/sun/share/lib/jato
[root@localhost sun]# find | grep jato.jar

My Steps to fail:
for uninstall purpose I had made
rpm -qa | grep sun (but not for SUN)
and removed the searched RPMs.
I had not made search for "rpm -qa | grep SUN" that take a look to RPMs related with webconsole.
Later I removed /opt/sun/, /var/opt/sun, /etc/opt/sun directories.
At the next JavaES installation the webconsole has not been installed
as there were a conflicts with the already installed RPMs and I have
missed this point. So the needed /opt/sun/webconsole path is absent now.
Despite of the mentioned above I have manually corrected the link
to the corrupted paths and copied the needed jars from other products
("identity management") which comes with JavaES, and was able to login to
https:localhost:4849 with admin admiadmin successfully
At the end of all
I have made a search for rpm -qa|grep sun and rpm -qa|grep SUN
and removed the related RPMs and the mentioned above folders
and reinstall a fresh JavaES. It works fine now.

TS1368 Extremely frustrated with error message when trying to download apps and updates. HELP please!

I have been trying to download a couple of apps and keep getting the message "cannot connect to iTunes." This is nonsense because I can access both the app store and iTunes directly. I've downloaded other items today with no problem. Now all of a sudden I'm getting this error whenever I try to download an app or update an existing one. And it doesn't help that that it practically takes an act of congress to access a human being to ask a simple question. I would very much appreciate any help I can get in resolving this issue. I have already tried rebooting my iPad and my software is up to date. Haven't tried it with my iPhone yet. Thanks.

You can't use Safari to download iPad apps. Only use iTunes/App Store.
