Action Box configuration

Hello Everybody,
Regarding to notifications: action box (follow-up actions) ... Does any of you have previous experience with function modules?
I'm looking for some out of the box function modules when called it up can trigger the following actions:
1. Create of Purchase order
2 Goods receipt
Any clue will be welcome.

For good receipt already one function is available as enter goods movement in the standard. Kindly check whether the same can be used
For purchase order creation you might have to use BAPI and along with user exits to trigger the same

My client has configured a new notificatiion type (copy of F2). I am not seeing full action box there. I am keen to see "request 8D report" in action box.
I am able to see "request 8D report "in F2 action box.
Can you pls advise how can I get action box configured to show " request 8D report"in new notification type.

Multiple Action Box Conifgurations in one CIC Profile - is it possible ??

Hy,
We work with different action box configurations as they differ for each business unit. Still the configurations have a common base some general over all settings.
If I make a change on one of the general settings I have to work through all the action box configurations and change it manually. I wonder if there is no other solution.
I've tried to find a way to set up a general configuration with the general over all settings and a configuration only providing the specific need of each business unit but there seams to be no possibility to include two or more action box configurations into one CIC-Profile.
Has anyone of you already dealt with this problem?
Maybe I missed a hint in the documentation?
Any ideas, suggestions, help?

Custom code in Notification Action box

Hi All,
I have called a custom FM through Notification action box configuration.One custom screen is also called from th ecustom FM. Now when I am trying to save the Notification through IW52 transaction then it is giving the dump.
If I execute the FM individually, it is working fine.
Please let me know what else I need to add to avoid this dump.
If the issue got resolved reward points must be given....earlt response apprecited.

QN Action Box- Reqmnt for creating transfer order and its confirmation

For the return to vendor process, if Plant is warehouse managed and I want to perform the transaction like LT03 and Lt12 directly from the QN action box. is there any standard function module is available which can be called from action box as part of the configuration steps.
or any other way to implement this functionality.
If any one has used this functionality, please let me know.

Thanks for your response. I am not able to see the list of the FM here. I tried in Trx se37 where I tried with QM* & QM06 and QMLR*, but I do not find any FM for LT03and LT12.
I tried using the following FM but in config it says some parameter is missing and it s not compatible with QN Action Box. Is there any way to use the custom FM in Action Box.

Call to R/3 transaction from CRM CIC0 Action Box

I configured in CRM the action box to call MySAP (transaction VA01), I used the method BOR with the object BUS2032 and the method CREATEWITHDIA, but I need to configure the action box to pass data from the transaction CIC0 into the R/3 system via data flow, for example:
I need to send the field value CCMSEARCH_STRUCT-BP1_PARTNER (Partner - CIC0) to field KUAGV-KUNNR (Sold-to-party - VA01).
I tried to use &BUS1006005& to send the Business Partner, but it doesn´t work.
Any documentation is very appreciated.

Steps involved in solving escape Sales area popup while creating cash sale order from CIC0 transaction issue is,
In CRM system
Go to transaction EWFC0.
Configuration name ZABOXUSA.
Click on change button and select transaction VA1_ in transaction group R3OE.
Click on details button and change object type to ZZBUS2032 from BUS2032.
Assign values to transaction VA1_ in data flow.
Save and close.
In R/3 system,
Go to transaction SWO1 (Business Object Builder).
Copy object BUS2032 as ZZBUS2032 including program.
In the object ZZRBUS2032 click on the method CREATEWITHDIA then click on the button program on the application tool bar.
At line number 196 added the following lines of code.
DATA :        WA_SALESPARTNERS LIKE LINE OF SALESPARTNERS,
                  IT_KNVV TYPE KNVV.
**MODIFIED TO ELIMINATE SALES AREA POP-UP FOR CASH CUSTOMER.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE TRANSACTION WITHOUT USING ACTION BOX?

We are trying to implement CIC NON-TELEPHONY.
Our requirment is simple we need to create complaint from CIC.
Is it possible to create a transaction without calling it from action box using default workspaces.
I mean i will not configure action box at all all i do is create a default work space for complaint which appears when the CIC screen is called up.
Is it really possible to create this way or is it mandatory that the transaction should be called from action box only to create it?
Can some one please advice on this we just need to create a couple of transactions from CIC 'cause we are planning to set up a small call centre.
Though i am not sure of the way it needs to be created i tried to create it with default workspaces ( i mean i did not call it from the action box) but the problem is while i create the transaction in this way i have a problem with partner determination and organization determination they are wrongly determined.
So, i need to confirm is this way of creating acceptable.

Hi Sam,
As far as I know, the way that you use the Default workspace(Business Activity) with the transaction type as Complaint should be fine. There is no hard and fast rule to only create the Complaints in CIC via Action Box.
Pertain to the Partner / Org. Determination, when you launch CIC, then as per the configuration, the default workspace(Business Activity) of the transaction type Complaint will be used and at this very begining itself the partner determination(associated with the transaction type) will be executed. And this is what you can see in the workspace as well.
When you confirm a BP, then as per the customizing maintained in the transaction CRMC_CIC_SEARCH_RULE("Profiles for contact search"), the BP1 and BP2 partner functions will be pushed into the Activity you made as default for the interaction.
This is how the CIC - with Business Activities & Partner Functions will work. I guess, apart from the way that you had made the default workspace of the transaction type as Complaint, you can also have a look at the above mentioned transaction for Contact searches and according to your need you can change the partner functions.

MSS - PCR - launch JSP form from action box

We have a PCR (leaver request) which is workflowed to an administrator to carry out the HR action. One of the options in the Action Box is to view the form - we're using JSP forms for this (we're using NW04 SP11). I've configured the ISR according to the SAP notes to be able to launch the JSP form for the administrator to view the form.
When we click the Display Form option the portal is launched as expected, the user logs on, but then a blank screen is displayed - ie not the form...
The URL that is generated is http://<portalserver>:<port>/irj/portal/<portalcomponent>?SCENARIO=ZCLR&REQUEST_NO=000500000165&MODE=DISPLAY&IFV=P
Has anyone set this up successfully and can offer any advice?

Thanks for your suggestion, but it still isn't working - the portal is launched with this url but just stops at the user's start page in the portal. We're on 46C. Any other suggestions? Does the portal user (for the administrator) need anything to be able to view the jsp form?

IW56-Action box IW31 required

We have a below requirement
We are using IW56 for creating service notification.
In the service notification,header tab,we use service order function,create to do autamatic service order creation iw31 .
We would require to use this function in action box.
Can you please tell us what function module we have to use in the configuration
under plant maintenance,maintenance and service processing,.notification processing,Additional functions,define followup functions to cater this.
For creating autamatic sales order va01 we use function module QM06_RMA_ORDER_CREATE.
Please tell us what function module we should user for iw31 in action box

Iam not very sure whether this function moduel will support the requirement-QM07_MERGE_ACTIONBOX as when i give this functional module in config screen ,it says this function module doesn't have E_subrc parameter.
Iam not sure this is the correct functional module

1 . Quality Management - > Quality Notifications -> Notification Processing->Additional Notification Functions
->Define Action Box -> Define Follow-Up Functions (Generated Tasks/Activities)
= > Notification Types ->Activities->Dependent Follow-Up Functions
-> Define Follow-Up Actions for Tasks-> Define follow-up actions
= > Follow-up actions -> Function modules
2. Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Maintenance and Service Processing -> Maintenance and Service Notifications -> Notification Processing -> Additional Functions
->Define Action Box -> Define Follow-Up Functions (Generated Tasks/Activities)
= > Notification Types ->Activities->Dependent Follow-Up Functions
-> Define Follow-Up Actions for Tasks-> Define follow-up actions
= > Follow-up actions -> Function modules
If you want to use the dependent follow-up functions, the second level of Follow-up functions to be defined prior to use in action box.

Please check if the serial no. profile is maintained well and assigned properly as follows:
1. Go to u201CMM02u201D select u201CSales Genrl/Plantu201D Tab, in this add serial Number profile assigned to the material master, and save
2, Go to u201COIENu201D, here you select the u201CSerial Numberu201D group, by which the assignment of continuous serial No. with No. range would be assigned, and save.(use this option provided if you assigned your serial numbers using "OIEN").
3, Also check if you need to activate the Material in u201CMM02u201D for u201CInspection typeu201D under u201CQuality managementu201D Tab.
Now try with your process, I am sure it should work out.
I think you try this process using "Returns order processing with quality check" in CS Module, where through notification you can directly creat the order "SM03" after proper configuration.

Action Box config to return data from external transaction

Hi All,
My problem is that we need to config the action box on the win client to call an external transaction in R/3, return some data ( room reservation line items ) and then add them as service order line items into the CIC once the user has completed the external transaction.
We've configured the action box to call a BOR method on R/3 which runs the room reservation program in R/3 and gets the results. I've configured the action box to pass data from the BDD into the R/3 system which works fine (via data flow).
I have set-up a return parameter in the data flow in the action box config but I'm not sure how to get the data out of the return parameter. I can't find any documentation telling me where the return parameters can be accessed. Are these parameters just dumped into the BDD?
I know how to create line items in the service order but I don't know where to put my code.
