One of the customer wants some information about Action BC's user property called "Contact Last Name". I can't find any relevant data regarding this user property, can somebody share anything if they have come across any info.

Hi,

  • Contacts' Last Names Duplicated on iPhone and iCloud

I find that from time to time the last names of the contacts in my iPhone 4s either migrate to the first name field, or are duplicated in the last name field.  For example, "Jerry Rice" would be listed as "Jerry Rice, Rice." I have painstakingly corrected each contact but the issue is happening all over again.  Help please!

  • Contacts - Last name first?

Is there a way to change the contacts listing so it sorts/shows contacts by last name instead of first name?
    thanks!

  • Search contacts by last name

I have recently deployed a new BB Pearl 9100 to a user that is attached to a BES server w/ MS Exchange 2003.  This is the users first blackberry coming from a Nokia device.  They are used to viewing their contacts by typing in the first character of the contacts last name such as "S" for 'John Smith" and all contacts whose last name starts with "S" are displayed.
On the current BB 9100 I can change the sort option on the phone by going to Contacts | Options | Contact Display and Actions | Sort By: Last Name. But when the user searches the contacts and types the letter "S" for 'John Smith' on the Blackberry, the user is shown all contacts that contain the letter "S" (first name, last name, or company).  I know that you can type"SMI" to narrow your query but is there a function on the device or a BES policy that can be applied to display/search for contacts in the manner that they are used to?
    Any help is appreciated.
    -Craig

they can maybe change the name to SmithJohn.

Cannot add user to PAB group when user has same last name as an existing Group member.
Seems to work, see number tick up and green bar flash, but, never really adds.

  • Can iOS only handle two seperate last names (QR-Code-Scan; vCard)

    Hello,
I'm having trouble scanning a QR-Code (vCard) from a business card. If the last name consists of three names iOS only displays two of the names. Example: Max van den Test (contacts app Max den Test).
I've already tried lots of QR-Code scanners from the App Store and tools to generate QR-Codes (vCard). It seems to be a problem with iOS. Android and Windows Phone display more than two last names just fine. I hope someone can help.
    Best regards

    Scanning error:
/home/username/.claws-mail/mimetmp/0000000e.mimetmp: lstat() failed: Permission denied. ERROR
Seems like a permissions error to me... maybe check the actual file it is attempting to scan... I know it is in your home folder, but just to be sure, you might want to check that everything is sane.

  • SBL-DAT-00222: An error has occurred creating business component 'Admin SEA

    Hello,
I am also facing simillar issue.
    I am trying to create admin account through Siebel Data bean using Business object "Users" and business component "User";
It works from Web client. but fails from siebel databean program.
Following is an error in SCCObjManager log :-
Please ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration.
ObjMgrMiscLog Error 1 0000001650241a04:0 2012-08-13 14:26:48 (busobj.cpp (1666)) SBL-DAT-00222: An error has occurred creating business component 'Admin SEA Application' used by business object 'Users'.
    Please suggest.
    Siebel Environment details:-
    Siebel 8.2.2.0.0 - Windows 2008 R2 SP1
    Database - Oracle 11g
We are using database as security adapter.

I have never worked with Databeans and neither with Siebel 8.2.2.
But when I look in Siebel 8.1.1.3 Tools at the Business Object 'Users', I don't see the business component 'Admin SEA Application'.
The Business Component does exist, but in a different Business Object.
Perhaps you should review the code of the Databean.
If all else fails, you can try to add it through Business Object 'Employee' and Business Component 'Employee'.

  • Nokia N80 - View names (first name then last name)

How can I change the viewing of the Contact list so that the contact is displayed with: 1st Name then Last Name. Currently the contact last name is displayed 1st.

I assume you have this issue sorted now, an easy one to do too, as the above post so eloquently said!

  • Separating 1st name and last name in contact name in a component

    Hi,
I have a requirement as follows:
"while creating opportunity and after selecting the account, a pop up window prompted to choose the contact person. The form of the name has the Contactu2019s Lastname and Firstname concatenated into a field labeled u201CNameu201D.
    Now we need to
--Separate the Name into First Name and Last Name"
When I checked, the pop up is the componet BTPARTNER.Can any one suggest how to achieve the above?
    Thanks.
Edited by: Ginger on Apr 20, 2011 4:02 PM

    Hi,
you can have a look at Component BTPARTNER, View PartnerSelList, Context node BTQRSPARTDET, Attribute STRUCT.NAME1 -> GET_NAME1. Here you can see how the Name field is composed and you can change the coding, for example transfer the Last Name part to another field via set_property method and keep the First Name part in this field.
    Kind regards,
    Carl

  • Birthday calendar on iCloud sort by last name first name like my contacts

birthday calendar on iCloud sort by last name first name like my contacts

Curiously, the most recently inputted entries do sort properly, as do all company entries.
Does that mean "most recently inputted" AFTER you upgraded to Snow Leopard?
If that is true, it would mean that something about your existing records before the upgrade, for the records that are people contacts (with first and last names) instead of business contacts, do not agree with Snow Leopard and/or Snow Leopard's version of Address Book.
This may not be feasible, but if you exported the records with this problems and then imported them, maybe they will be re-inputted so that are properly sorted.
If you use Time Machine, maybe you can use the +flying through space+ interface to restore one of the records with this problem to see if the restore process makes the record sort properly.

  • "The file [name of file] may have been changed by another user since you last saved it." Issue affects both network and local files.

When a certain user saves a file in Excel 2010, she gets a message: "The file <name of file> may have been changed by another user since you last saved it."  She can choose to save as another file or overwrite with her changes.
This just started happening a week or so ago.  She was concerned that someone else was accessing her files, but we did several tests that opened, made a change and saved in a matter of seconds, and she still gets the message.  It happens on
most files, but not all – both network and local.
We already tried the QFE_Saskatchewan registry fix.  I also checked the file server for Services for Macintosh.

You may be confused by the error in Excel saying “another user”. Actually Excel cannot tell who (the real human) is editing the file. Based on my research the No.1 possibility of the error is KB2626998.
2626998  Connection to a network document is lost in the 2007 Office system or in Office 2010 after the computer resumes from standby
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2626998
For Excel 2010, follow these steps:
    a.  Click Start , click Run , type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK .
    b.  Locate and then select the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Excel\Options
    c.  On the Edit menu, point to New , and then click Dword Value .
    d.  Type NetworkAvailableTimeInSeconds , and then press Enter.
    e.  Right-click NetworkAvailableTimeInSeconds , and then click Modify .
    f.  In the Value data box, click Decimal , type a number value, and then click OK .
Note This registry subkey sets the time, in seconds, that Excel waits for the network to resume. For example, if you type 15 for the number value, Excel waits 15 seconds for the network to resume. You might have to do some tests in your own environment to
determine an appropriate value. You may have to try multiple numbers.
    g.  Locate and then select the following registry subkey.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\office\14.0\common\Internet
    h.  Repeat step 2C through step 2F again. Reuse the same value that you used previously.
    i.  Exit Registry Editor.
Feel free to post back. Thanks.
    Cheers,
    Tony Chen

  • Contact sort by Last Name

I  know this question has been asked before, but it's been a while, and I'm hoping someone has come  up with a solution.
My gmail contacts are sorted Last name, First name, but my contacts are sorted by first name.  While this is extremely frustrating, to make matters worse, my car uses the list, lust it is sorted by first name.
Please, please, please tell me there is a way to sort the contact list by Last name.

    bearone21 wrote:

Not quite sure that answers the OP question though!   One solution is to download a free replacement dialer from the market, such as Dialer One, which allows the sorting of all contacts by Last Name, First Name

  • File contacts by Last Name or Company Name.

On MobileMe you where able to file contacts by Last Name or Company Name. Not able to do that in iCloud. Is there someway to do that?

Rafael is correct in that the old Mobile Me, you could choose by individual contact whether the entry was sorted by Company or last name (or first name?).   There are many business contacts where I may not remember the account reps name.  I want the item sorted by company but have the acct reps name included.
Now with iCloud they are overriding that option.  You can only have it sort by Business Name if there is no individual's name in the contact info.
This is the common complaint that supoprts that Apple still doesn't get the Business aspect of using the software.
Here they had the feature and someone removed it.

  • 6233 Search contact in last name AND first name

    Hi,
the 6233 does not search Contacts in both first names AND last names. It only searches only in what come first.
Exemple : searching for "Paul" does not find "Smith Paul"
Do I need a firmware update to fix this ??
    Thanks for your answer !

    Hi Chen,
Based on my knowledge, there is no related method to enforce all users using More Columns as the default search option in Outlook Address Book. We can just change the search option for individual Outlook user by remembering the last search using as I mentioned
    above.
Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for your understanding.
