Action profile for send email to multiple partners

Hi
i need to send Smartforms mail using action profile to all partners assigned in the partners tab.
Is there some standard way of doing it other than creating partner dependent action profile for each partner?

hi Itty,
based on my knowledge and experience, there is 2 ways for sending a smartforms via mail in action, ie :
1. using smartforms mail
2. using method.
for option 1, only can be send to one target only. therefore usually i used the option 2.
in option 2 basically you create an implementation class from defenition class EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF.
the implementation class basically just a program, so in this implementation class you can get all the partners in the partners tab using function modul CRM_ORDER_READ and get all recipient mail, generate the smartforms and send it as attachment to all mail target.

Action Profiles for Order Confirmation

Hello,
I need to set up basic action Profile for sending emails upon order confirmation. So I set up 2 actions inside an action profile
1. One action to send an email based on partner function Sold to Party
2. Another action to send email based on partner function Bill -to Party
When I go to the order, I can see only the Action for Sold to Party but not the other action. I need both these actions to execute one after another/or simultaneously
Both these actions do not have a start condition.
Both these partner functions is different
*Email address have been maintained.
I tried changing the sort also to see if it would make a difference, It is just not picking up the second one action.
Can anyone help me out!!!

Hi Karthik,
U have to check u r Action setting for u r action defination tick the below check boxes:
Schedule automatically
Changeble in Dialoug
Executable in Dialog
Also tick on Partner Dependent check box
Note : Check u r schedule condition for action condition b'cos without schedule condition fullfilled u r action condition will be appeared.

Help with sending emails to multiple users.

Currently we have a process to send mail to muliple users by looping through the list of users and sending each individual an email

Is there any way to setup tuser to contain multiple email addresses?
I have tried passing a list and a string separated by colons (ex: <s>[email protected]; [email protected]</s>) and neither one works.
Question 2
Is it a bad idea to try and send email to up to 50000 users at once using IDM? Besides the fact that I would need to search for specific users and get their email addresses based on their capabilities.

For sending emails to multiple users, use to instead of toUser. Put the names in comma seperated values

You can use IDM to send emails.
it will be a good idea to break down the email that you are sending into groups/batches. If possible, you can send email to DL s
Else, you can segregate the users based on roles and send emails. This will reduce the load. Hope it helps

Send email to multiple recipients

Hello,
Does anybody know what the syntax is for sending email to multiple email addresses? Should the email addresses be separated by commas or semi-colons? I can't seem to find an example anywhere and what I've tried doesn't seem to be working, because when I flushed my mail queue, nothing sent out. I know it works with only one address.

to put multiple address you needs to put a comma between addresses .
quote from htmldb documentation :
"Valid e-mail address to which the e-mail will be sent (required).
For multiple e-mail addresses, use a comma separated list."

Sending email to multiple address using Utl_Smtp

I want to send email to multiple address using the Utl_Smtp feature.
When I am sending email to one email address in the To:Field it works fine.However, when I send
to multiple address I am getting the below error.I am using a table(Email_test) to store all email id.

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol RFC 5321 specifications.
      RCPT TO:<forward-path> [ SP <rcpt-parameters> ] <CRLF>
   The first or only argument to this command includes a forward-path
   (normally a mailbox and domain, always surrounded by ">" and "<"
   brackets) identifying one recipient.In other words, you can only define a SINGLE mailbox address at a time. Multiple addresses requires multiple repeats of this command verb, once per maibox.
Do not confuse this and the To: tag line in the Mime header that contains a comma delimited list of recipients. That tag line can contain anything - it is not parsed, not checked, and not verified as matching the actual recipient mailboxes as specified via the RCPT TO verb.

Question regarding sending email to multiple recipients

I am creating a workflow that will send an email notification everytime a new campaign is created. I've learned that R16 is capable of sending emails to multiple recipients, the only concern I have is I can't find any doumentation on how to do it. It is stated in the R16 Administrator Preview Guide that you can select 'Specific Email Address' and enter multiple email addresses directly, I tried to enter multiple email addresses separated by comma - [email protected],[email protected],[email protected] as an example, but it doesn't work and prompts me to enter a valid email address. Could anybody guide me on how to enter multiple email addresses once the 'Specific Email Address' is selected or how to do it in the expression builder to define the expression that will define the list of emails. I know that using group email addresses can be used as an alternative to this requirement but I hope theirs a way to do this with workflows.

On OnPremise, Sending email to multiple recipients doesn't work with SendEmail method

We are creating a site collection on OnPremise from App by using Sharepoint Client API's (16 version).
After creation of site collection, we are sending an email to all site collection administrators. But we found that email is being sent to the only first person mentioned in the "To" list. For sending email we are using following method "Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Utilities.Utility.SendEmail()".
We tried different scenarios by passing alternately domain username and email address.
Here are the findings for the different scenarios for the "To" field:
1) "domain\user1; domain\user1" => sends email to first user
2) "[email protected]; [email protected]" => sends email to both emails (at least shows in inbox To field, two occurances of email)
3) "domain\user1; domain\user2" => sends email to first user
4) "[email protected]; [email protected]" => sends email to first user
Here is the code we are using:

I gone through that service complaint doc and found that for this transaction we have to define the actions like CREATE RETURN REQUEST, CREATE SPARE PART DELIVERY, CREATE QUALITY NOTIFICATION, CREATE CREDIT/DEBIT MEMO REQUEST AND CREATE TASK. Reports9i is better than Reports6i as far as sending emails is concerned. Reports9i allows you to send Reports in different formats as email attachements (PDF v3 is only one option). You can set subject, cc, bcc and some body text the way you want it. The Reports server only needs the address of a SMTP Server and you are ready to go. In Reports6i this is a bit more limited as you are not able to provide your own subject and body texts.
I know that you can do this with PL/SQL from teh databae, but never tried it before.
There is another option, which is to use a Java Bean in Forms for email. Thsi only works on the Web and a demo is included in teh Forms9i demos that can be downloaded from OTN. Though the demo is written for Forms9i it should work with Forms6i as well (not the Forms demo files because they are created in Forms9i).

Yesterday I had to send an email to some 30 other people (I only do this occasionally).
It refused to go and I received this error message:-
I have several email accounts but each one was the same.
At that time I could not even send single emails but incoming emails were unaffected.
Later in the day I received this email from my ISP mail account.

We need you to take a few minutes to confirm each of the BT Yahoo! Mail alternate email addresses you use are genuine. If you don’t, you might get more ‘553’ error messages and have problems sending emails. Just log in and follow these simple steps. We don’t ask for any personal information.
This is rubbish and I had a similar one last year which I ignored, as the simple steps were far from simple, and the following morning all was back to normal.
So I ignored this email and tried again this morning.
I was still unable to send emails to multiple recipients but now I can send single emails OK!
Any ideas what is going on?

From the error message, it looks like there was a problem with at least one of the addresses ("NONE"). It is possible that a bad address is in the list you tried to send to.
I don't know anything about BT Internet, so I can't confirm the authenticity of the email you received.
You should be able to log into your BT account directly from the web without using any links sent in the email.
The email also seems to indicate you used an alias as the reply-to (from) email address.
You didn't mask out the username for your smtp server and it is definitely different from the from account. This may all be normal, but it does tend to match what the email is telling you.

Sending EDI To Multiple Partners Using Single Send Port in Orchestration

Hi Guys,
I am having a scenario where i am receiving a Xml(which can be in between 11-15). I am having 150 Trading Partners with whom these datsets have to be shared. Now every Trading partner is having there own character Sets and unique numbers so i have created 150
party agreements for all the Trading partners. I am interested to use a single port. I have created an orchestration to achieve this. Below are the steps i used to create orchestration :-
1) Receiving 11 XML from receive shape.
2) Extracting the value of Node TSP(this value is used to know the trading partners unique number on which i am deciding to which party agreement this Xml needs to go) using xpath.
3) I am constructing the message in construct.
3.1) Mapping from XML To EDI.
3.2) As all 11 datasets are having different version. So i am overidding the value ISA and GS in Message Assignment(SourceName).
4) Decide shape to decide on the value of TSP to which port it has to be send.
But according to me this is not an optimized solution. Below are reasons:-
1) I have to create 150 branch into decide shape. As i am receiving 11 different Xml messages i need to create decide shape for all the different Xml messages.
2) I have to create 150 different ports which are having 15 operation(depanding upon Xml we received).
Note:- I have to create 150 different Send Ports only because of Party Agreement. So is there any solution? i only want Single Send port and i can select the party Agreement in the orchestrations.

How to send emails to multiple contacts w/o posting individually

how do i send emails to multiple contacts w/o posting them individually. previously i would hold down the "command" key and they would all go to the "to" area?

Enter a group name from your address book at to, cc or bcc and mail will fill up the group members with a valid email address. If a contact has more than one email address, you can choose which one you will use.
There are also some preference im mail under compose for handling the address book and groups.
Please consider, not everbody wants his email shown to other! Maybe you should enter your own mail address at "to" and your contacts at "bcc".

I am working on the requirement where I need to create workflow in which I am sending email to multiple users. I have receiver list in a 'Z' Table. So I have to fetch those users from the 'Z' table on some conditions and send emails to them. I am send email to single user mentioned statically in Receipent box but I need to find the receivers dynamically and not able to send email to multiple users.

Hi Ketan,
First af all create one MULTILINE container in your workflow say LT_EMAIL. its type should be SOXNA-FULLNAME.
Then thorugh some activity step, fill all the recepient's email addresses in workflow container LT_EMAIL. Then create one activity step type to send an email using SENDRASKDESCRIPTION method of business object SELFITEM. in the ADDRESSSTRING pass the multiple container LT_EMAIL and in TYPEID pass 'U'.

Send email to multiple users on form submit

I created a form with Shuttle object to select email addresses. Shuttle allows multiple select. But I am not able to send email to multiple email ids. Email is sent to only the first email id.
Please advice me on how to send emails to multiple ids on submit from shuttle
