Actions Issue

Hi All,
When I delete any action for the employee, system does not delete all infotypes which i created
on the day when i was running this action, rather i have to go nad delete the data for the infotypes by
going individually to every infotype.
Can anyone tell me why is this happening?

Actually I remember in my last project, whenever I used to delete any action, system used to show some pop up saying that the action deletion wiill delete all the records in all other infotypes which i created on the day of action, And i am sure that we dion created any Deletion action.
Any also the operation used was Copy for all infotypes.
I wonder how can we do it at the config level?
Also I have seen my clients system , when they have maintained infogroup for any actions, IT0000 is not in the infogroup in action customisation, but still I can see that when we run the action IT0000 is the first infotype that appear while running theaction, I belive this is so because in Set Personnel Actions we checking U0000, so we can avoid using that in all actions inforgroups.
Can that be a reason , that i am unable to delete all infotypes together.

CS4 in Snow Lepard Action Issues

Snow Lepard 10.6.1 / illCS4 14.0.0
I have a collection of actions (CS3) which are essential to my work. In particular, actions which call up Layer and Colour Palette functions which are not included in Keyboard mapping. These actions are triggered by Function keys. When I started on CS4 I have re-created these actions and saved a new set - specifically for CS4. When launching CS4 these new actions load in, but appear as "containers" only - action header, but no contents: (blanks).
When I replace actions through Action side Menu, my new set is restored but Function Key assignments are missing and have to be re-defined.
I have eliminated what I think are all Keyboard assignment conflicts in illustrator, as well all Keyboard services in System Preferences.
I would appreciate any help.

Maybe not a cs4/snow leopard issue but an overprinting issue?
Is the white text that goes away set to overprint?

Document Numbering Action Issues

Been having nothing but problems with the Document Numbering Action provided by Adobe and unfortunately have a big need for it.
Currently, whenever I deselect "Include Page #" forces the the Doc# to become "Exhibit/Document NaN" and won't number the documents at all. Just showing Document NaN or Document undefined.
You can try and manually change it, but it will just over ride you.
Also, how can I change the text propertoes? I don't want Helvetica 10px Black which is default, and while I can change the background, I would like to be able to at least adjust the text size and color.
Tried on 3 computers, done a full Acrobat and Action reinstall and all have the same problem.

Well, I've found that if I simply allow the first document to have a page number, it will allow me to remove it for all the subsequent pages without issue. Then I just go back and edit it later.
Still trying to figure out a way to change the text colour and size however.
If it helps, I am combing all the files. Is there a way to batch change colours and size of comments?

Urgent help on a dynamiv action issue

I am working on SAP 4.6C and have an issue with a dynamic action. I started having this problem since a month. We did not customize this new dynamic action. I dont understand how it entered in my SAP R/3 system.Support packs were added last month can they be responsible.I am entering the discription of the dynamic action.

Photoshop CC 2014 skew layer action issue

Hello,
I have a set of actions from previous version of PSD (CS6 > CC) which includes skewing a layer and placing it in an exact position. Worked like a charm.
Now, I have upgraded to CC 2014 and these actions are useless...
E.g. - what one action did in previous versions of PSD:
two documents open in PSD:
1) take open document > flatten > image size to width 1000px keep ascpect ratio > select all > Ctrl+C
2) select previous documet > paste > move > free transform including skew
Result in previous versions of PSD was exactly the same. In PSD CC 2014 the skew is different (incorrect) and the placement of the transformed layer is wrong.
Tried to create the same action in the new PSD CC 2014 and the result was the same. Even more - the new transformed layer is placed as if chaotically depending on the zoom of the document it transformed in.
Any suggestions, please? I am quite desperate - I need to process large numbers of files this way...

Correct result from previous versions of PSD:
Error result in PSD CC 2014:

If your are replacing the wall image with image files that are the same size an resolution. Have you tried placing the image in the PSD file as a smart object layer, Then record the action to use replace smart object layer content. Rather then pasting in a new image layer and transforming the new layer. Since the problem you seem to have is the transform step is not working correctly. Recording transform steps can also be tricky. You need to have set Photoshop's ruler units so the step is recorded the way it need to be. Transforms can be recorded using absolut pixel values, relitive to document size in percentages and in relative units like inches which depends on the document DPI resolutio. Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 will not install - rollback action issue?

Im having problems installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.
The problem is right at the end of installation, it says status is registering and then immediately does an action rollback.
The message "The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again."
I am beyond frustrated as I have tried installing even as an administrator and Im assuming there is nothing wrong with the CD just my computer being a complete pain.
If anyone can offer some help that would be greatly appreciated.

Im having problems installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.

I have also created a new administrator account and after rebooting tried to install it but with the same result. It appears to get to the end of the program install but falls over just before the Organiser install. There are no error messages. AV and surplus programs have been stopped. Desktop clean up run. XP machine well within required spec.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dynamic Actions issue

Hi Experts,
Is it technically possible to know if an Infotype was updated through the Dynamic Actions or manually by an end user.
We have a case where an Infotype is updated in the background based on certain conditions through a dynamic action.
The same Infotype could be in certain circumstances updated manually through PA30.
Is it possible to know how the last change was done???

In fact we have a custom Infotype (IT9xxx: Eligibility for certain benefit) that we are automatically creating/updating in the background based on changes in IT0021; if a new dependant is added in IT0021, we automatically create for him a new instance in this custom Infotype etc...
Sometimes and for some special cases, the end user should update this IT9xxx manually.
Now, if I want to know each records in this IT9xxx were created manually and each ones were created automatically, is it possible or not ??? in other terms from a system point of view, do we have a flag or an indicator to tell us if the record was created/updated through dynamic action or manually.
I hope that it more clear now.

UCCE 7.2.7/CAD 7.2 SR1 Work Flow Action issue

This is on UCCE 7.2.7 with CAD 7.2 SR1.
Today, I created Agent Management Work Flow Action in CAD (via Desktop Admin). I want all of my agents within a specific Work Flow Group to be logged out at 9pm on workdays.
I choose the event "Time of day", create a rule and an action. The action is "Agent State Control" with value "AgentLogout". I choose to use automated reason codes. After configuration I hit "apply" and, just to be sure, I also sync the Directory Services.
The action is triggered, but the agent still has to choose the reason code to logout. Does this sound familiar to any of you or am I missing someting?

Assign it in the script.
Let's say you have created the ECC variable "userCADLayout" and you have been into CAD Admin and set this as the field index 252.
And you have created a number of layouts (e.g. Sales, Service) with different enterprise variables, ANI, DNIS etc.
Let's say agent Fred is in both the Sales SG and the Service SG.
Simply set the ECC variable in the script once you have decided its a Sales call or a Service call to the matching string "Sales" or "Service".
So a "Sales" call arrives at Fred's desktop and the arrangement (layout) is appropriate; ditto Service.
Once you have done this one time, you will realize how easy it is. Of ocurse, DON'T MAKE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES. ;-)

NetWeaver EE 5 jsp include action issue

Under NetWeaver EE 5 trial version I encounter the following problem:
page buffer is always flushed before jsp:include.
By default flush must default to "false", but either I specify flush="false" or miss the attribute - the buffer is always flushed.
Also the reason is not in buffer size - I make it large enough but the issue remains.

A.jsp says <jsp:include page="dir/B.jsp"/> and dir/B.jsp says <%@include file="C.jsp" %>. In this case the relative specification C.jsp resolves to dir/C.jsp.
In this case the jsp:include is the equivilent of a RequestDispatcher.include. This can be view as the request being passed on to dir/B.jsp which will act on th erequest as if it came from a browser. the dir/B.jso then resloves all relative urls based on it's location in the dir directory. This is runtime binding.
A.jsp says <%@include file="dir/B.jsp" %> and dir/B.jsp says <jsp:include page="C.jsp" />. In this case the relative specification C.jsp resolves to C.jsp."
This is an example of compile time binding. When the servlet container translates A.jsp into sevlet code it includes the code from dir/B.jsp into A.jsp's servlet code. When you reach the include of C.jsp it is inside the servlet code of A.jsp and is resolved based on the location of A.jsp.

Advanced conditional action issue

I am using Captivate 7. I am experimenting with Advanced conditional actions.
I am simulating a numerical keypad (0-9) with each number assigned to a click box.
working with 4 digits.
I need to impose limits for each of the 4 digits.
Example:
Digit 1 can only be a 0 or a 1
Digit 2 can only be 0-5
etc.
I trying to prevent going to the next action when a wrong number is clicked.
Looking for examples on how to properly implement this.

Some years ago I created such a use case, would certainly change several things now with Captivate 7. I would recommend to make ieach key a shape button, so that it looks like a pressed key if the user clicks it. And I would also use shared actions without any doubt. But no time to work this out, sorry.

Installing itunes + quicktime rolling back action issues

hey, i know this has been mentioned before, but i have been searching hours on end to try and fix this and nothing so far
I just got an ipod touch, and when i go to the apple site to download the itunes and quicktime, i go to install and it keeps rolling back action and in the end it says that "quicktime was unable to install, itunes needs quicktime to install". I tried downloading both of the separately and they both keep rolling back actions. I dont have itunes or quicktime installed on my computer previously, and I am running them as administrators.
this is really frustrating as I cant even turn on my ipod touch because I cant install itunes, any help with this problem?

Assign action issue

Hello,
I have modeled a view which contains two text editors and one button.
The first text editor A is read-only, the second text editor B is not.
The button invokes an assign action which perfoms the following assignment:
@A = @B & @A
That means that the content of text editor B is copied to the beginning of text editor A, doesn't it?
However, the desired behaviour is only visible when clicking twice on the button. The first click seems to change nothing.
What am I doing wrong?

I tried your scenario and it works perfectly fine , just with one click. [Here|http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/4408/texteditorot4.jpg], I have the two editors at runtime and also [assign action|http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/9712/assignqg3.jpg].
The input form has the 2 fields defined.
If you could share the design and define action or try what I have done, I am sure it would work. Let me know if it helps...
