Actions Wizard Panel missing actions

How do I get the Action Wizard Panel to show recently created actions? Mine only shows the 6 default actions that come with acrobat. The actions I created are listed at the very top  in the "manage actions" dropdown, but they do not display, and therefore, I do not seem to be able to run them! Has anyone encountered this before?  Windows 7, Acrobat XI Pro. I've updated acrobat, repaired the installation, and checked that it is the most current version.  What am I missing? Thanks!

Guess I'll answer my own question before I forget how to navigate to the forums. It may not be a total answer, but in a total fluke-move, I found out  it appears to have something to do with screen real estate: if I close all my panels, and open ONLY the actions wizard, the actions are all listed. Maybe the panel populates actions from the middle one out ...  or something.

Why is the Insert Panel Missing from Dw CS6 Build 12 v 5861?

If Nancy's advice doesn't make it pop up as a window, you may have it set as a tool bar, in which case, hitting Ctrl+F2 will make the tool bar appear/disappear.
To turn it back into a floating panel, click and drag the dashed line on the far left of the Insert tool bar and pull it away from the top. You can leave it as free floating or drag it to another edge until it highlights the edge and drop it to dock it to whichever side of the screen you prefer.

  • Behaviors Panel Missing columns FW-8

I'm running fireworks 8 on an intel Macbook, OS 10.4. When I
open the behaviors panel, I get a 'onMouseOver" listing but nothing
else. Cannot seem to highlight an event and there are no actions or
events headings in the panel. As say, a rollover, the behavior
works in preview, (and in dreaweaver), but if I want to use a click
event, instead of a rollover, I cannot do it. (This bieng for a
swap image action). Any idea of what is going on. At this point,
i'm adding all my behaviors in Dreamweaver...

  • Metadata Panel missing in Bridge

I have the latest version of CS4 (11.0.2).
I was working in Adobe Bridge when an error msg. appeared saying that Bridge had a problem and would close. I rebooted, and when I accessed Bridge again, the Metadata Panel was missing. I have "Metadata Panel" checked under the Window menu item, but that doesn't help. I've unchecked and rechecked it, but to no avail.
    Any thoughts?

I just fixed the problem by resetting the preferences. I found another problem in the forum that was solved in this manner, and I tried it. It worked, but I have no idea why.

  • Sharing Preferences panel missing

This is probably an old issue, I just can't seem to locate it here anywhere, and Googling only produces fixes I have already tried. Some of the Macs I support (all running 10.4.11) are missing the Sharing preferences panel in System Preferences. This would not be so bad--it doesn't seem to affect performance at all--but that I cannot re-name machines without access to that panel. I have installed the ARD client, installed the CD/DVD Sharing update, both of which seem to have fixed this in the past. Not now. What's up?

Hi jreyome, and a warm welcome to the forums!
Could be many things, but usually preventable and caused by pre-existing OS or Disk corruption...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
    5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
The usual reason why updates fail or mess things up, is if Permissions are not fixed before & after every update, with a reboot... you may get a partial update when the installer finds it doesn't have Permissions to change one obscure little part of the OS, leaving you with a mix of OS versions.
Some people get away without Repairing Permissions for years, some for only days.
If Permissions are wrong before applying an update, you could get mixed OS versions, if Directory is the slightest messed up, who knows!
If many Permission are repaired, or any Directory errors are found, you may need to re-apply some the latest/biggest updates.
May even need to do an Archive and Install if you have room on the HD, but saves all your files and gives a new OS...

I only use Software Update to see what is needed, then get them for real via...
    http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/
That way I can wait a week or so, check the forums for potential problems, and get Permissions & such in order before installing.

  • In CS5 document tab panel missing on startup.

Occasionally, approximately every other start, when I use context menu "Edit with Fireworks" on a Fireworks PNG file, application starts with the file open in a single tab and top panel in that tab (Original/Preview/2-up/4-up, etc.) appears to be missing.  Hovering mouse over the area where it should appear reveals individual buttons.  I can then open other documents in tabs and panel would be just fine there but the first document tab would stay glitchy until I close it.
I wonder if anybody else is seeing it.  It's not really consistent for me.  Does not seem to depend on document size (in bytes or pixels).
I am trying to figure out if it's Fireworks or my video card (Nvidia GT330M).
Perhaps connected to this are two other annoying but not critical things:
    - on startup Fireworks starts drawing interface at certain size then slowly resizes itself to full screen, redrawing delay is just too large
    - whenever I save a document, it flashes white during save.  It's a relatively short flash, looks like it's semi-transparent too.

I was not entirely correct.  I now also tested this with Fireworks directly opening file, not just "Edit with Fireworks."  Initially the "Original/Preview/2-up/4-up" bar is completely absent.  But, if I open another document, switch to its tab and switch back to original document, then I can partially reveal bar by hovering mouse over its supposed location.
Also, turning tab into floating document window restores bar and I can then dock that window back, turning into tab, and keep the bar.  So, that's a workaround.
And it does not appear to be a video card related as the same exact thing happens and with same random consistency when I switch my laptop into stamina mode (i.e. use built-in Intel chipset graphics).
I'm off to file a bug report with Adobe.

  • Properties panel missing things in css mode (CS4)

Hi - I'm doing a tutorial in css with a Dreamweaver CS4 pre-designed layout. I want to make a nav bar by using an unordered list and hyperlinking the words in the list.
My properties panel (bottom of the window) in css mode does not show a box for links or a gizmo for making lists, indents, etc.Shouldn't those be available?
Do I have to use the menus at the top? Do I switch to <>HTML to get the features that are missing in css mode?
    Insights would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

He has recently updated from Logic Pro 9 to LPX, and has noticed that the Apogee control panel that is integrated in Logic seems to be missing.

    Cheers and thanks in advance!

  • Styles panel missing in Dreamweaver cs6 (Was: Dreamweaver CS6)

I have just downloaded Dreamweaver & the CSS Styles panels is missing?

The Styles panel has been replaced with the CSS Designer panel. Layout mode has been gone for some years, as has drawing AP divs.
The Styles panel didn't offer good access to the legacy CSS attributes and properties, or to management of selectors or sources. CSS designer does all of these much better.
Layout mode was removed in favor of the separation of content from presentation approach that CSS provides. Drawing AP divs has never been a good solution for page layout because of the many problems encountered when using these positioned elements as containers for text content.
CS6 is quite a different beast than its predecessors. It has been built with a strong committment to both producing valid code and the use of good methods. Its productive use will require you to have a fair understanding of both HTML and CSS.

  • Library Panel Missing in Muse

The library panel is completely missing; it's not just hidden. I'm on the newest version of Muse, just updated today, so that might have done it, but I'm not sure.
    Here's a screenshot:

No the widgets library is there; just the "Library" panel is missing. Here's another screen shot:

  • Volume Panel Missing in System Bar

I had dl and installed the following driver/application on my fresh installed Windows XP and notice that the volume panel is missing from the system bar.

    Creative Console Launcher 2.6.09
Had search thru the forum and volpanel.exe in not included in the above mentioned installation package. Please advise a solution. Thank!

& I had solved the problem by installing Creative Console Launcher 2.60.29 and follow by Creative Console Launcher 2.6.09
It seem like the volume panel is not included in the latest installation package.

  • LIBRARY panel missing in Illustrator CC

I'm trying to use the CC Libraries in Illustrator. I've looked at the tutorial about it, but there is no Library panel showing in the Windows list. It should be under the Layers panel, but it is missing.  Why?

Thanks for the prompt response Gary! Yes! I have logged out - logged in again and have done that repeatedly. I have however just a few moments ago uninstalled another version that was on the machine (cs6 beside the CC 2014 v18.0) and after logging out of CC (Via the Illustrator in-App Menu | Help | Sign out... ) I then restarted my machine and now the CC app icon in the menu bar is greyed out even though it propted me to log into CC which I did.? Thanks again.
