Actiontec router port in use after software restart....need some help please

I am using Windows Media Encoder to stream video from a web cam through my Actiontec M1424-WR RevC router. Problem I am having is when I shut down the camera for the evening and then start it back up in the morning, I get a message that says the port is in use...try another port. I then have to reassign a different port. This causes issues because I then have to inform those that want to view the scene of the new port number.
Anyone know how to get around this anamoly?

You probably have to set up a static ip on the computer then set up the router to port forward to that static ip... Have you tried this?

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.

HT4796 I can't see where are the folders that I had in my old PC on my new Mac after the migration. Even when I see it on my Mac using the search box, it doesn't appear with the right order of my old PC. I need some help, please.

I used the Migration utilitie from Lion and eventhough I know the folders are there (with a quick search I find images etc) the proper order is not displayed.

After Bootcamp, I need some help

everything seems to be running quite well after I bootcamped and installed Windows XP. I have a few questions regarding the most basic stuff on the apple keyboard
volume keys (f3, f4, f5) don't seem to work on windows xp
brightness keys (f1, f2) don't work either
in addition, the battery meter seems to be out of wack, which is understandable cuz i mean im bootcamping, everything is not suppose to be running perfectly...
so my question is, is there like an alternative in adjusting brightness on windows xp? cuz it's killing my battery life...

Actually... under BootCamp your machine is basically a PC. All BootCamp does is allow you to partition your drive to prep it for installing Windows. There is no reason to expect everything to work properly under BootCamp (provided you have drivers).
There should be a little picture of a display in your system tray. You can use that to adjust the brightness of the display.

Losing applications after a reboot? Some help please

I was playing with my Ipad and something wrong happened and the Ipad started working slowly i don't know why and i shut down the Ipad cause i thought that will fix the problem and i guess it maked it worse cause i lost all my applications, but that's not the problem i can reinstall the applications but i'll lose my save and everything and the other problem is that when you go in Settings>General>Usage it shows you that how much space you used in your Ipad and it shows which applications took the most space and it says how much MB/GB took from Ipad space, ok the problem is that i used 10GB and i have only 10 apps that they are under 100 MB each application and when i'm in Settings>General>Usage i can see some applications but they have no names and it don't say how much space that application take it says "No Data" i hope you can elp me with this problem cause i don't know what to do and this is my first time happening this with me.

You might just be getting an incorrect reading on your iPad and for your sake I hope that you are. See what happens after you do this. It will not cause any loss of data.
Quit ALL apps completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Hardware or Software? Need Major Help Please

Please help. I have a list of questions about my newly purchased I mac g5 complete with the i sight
1) The dashboard likes to cause a lot of problems. It freezes on me but everything else is still running. I cant get out of the dash board. Its stuck. Ive deletd all the widgits ive downloaded but it still gets stuck.
2) My mac consistantly freezes when am using an application. It just freezes so I run the hardware check with the CD liek it says to do in the manual. and then THAT frezes on me too. It was 90% done checking my hard drive for damages or what not and thn it froze. It started to change the scren to a bunch of diffrent colours. this went on for 15 minutes before it finally returned to the hardware check menu. And when it finally does the mouse doesnt move and its stuck.
Please if anyone knows what to do about this help me.

You may have defective RAM or other internal problems. Since you just purchased the machine you can return it to Apple within 14 days of purchase for either a new machine or refund. Contact them at once. These machines are designed to be fully functional out of the box. Infrequently, a defective machine can be produced.
Also encourage you to purchase as much additional RAM as possible from a reputable 3rd party source, such as MacRam Direct or Crucial.

thought that it was possible to have the same iTunes library on any machine that was authorised, a kind of cloud-iTunes I guess.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Stupidly partition hdd on window7 in IMAC A1311, and now I can not use the IMAC...... Need some help

Just bought a used IMAC A1311 core 2 duo, and there are something called Bootcamp and Window7 on it, and i log in to Window7 and stupidly partition hdd on it, and i think it has formatted everything. now the window7 is error and I do hold (alt) key when I start up the machines , it show only the window7 hdd and i don't see any Recoery HDD........what should i do? Really need some helps right now.........

There are several models that use A1311. So I don't know exactly what model you have. If you received installer discs with the computer, then you will need to boot from Disc 1, erase the drive, and install Snow Leopard. Some models in the A1311 line can use Internet Recovery:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.

I wouldn't say pixelated; more like blurry.
Like ConnectedCreative said, what steps are you using? Are you using "bicubic sharper" when resizing down?
