Activate Customer field in delivery address in PO item screen

Dear Experts ,
In PO Item details ,delivery address tab , I want to activate the customer field ( between the address & Vendor tabs ) .
Please tell me where can this be done ?

Thanks for the response .
Our basic requirement to have a customer number tagged with a PO item is to have a retrospective analysis report to know what services /material & amount have been spent in order to facilitate a customer. These are freebies that the company provided the customer, but its analysis would help the us to understant customer wise freebies / facilities provided.
It would be great if you could tell us the way to activate the customer number field in the PO item details . Using address does not serve the said purpose .

Dear experts,
While creating a PO in line item level, under the "Delivery Address" tab, we are able to see the Vendor option and the Address option for selecting the delivery address in the PO. We are unable to view the Customer Option even though we have maintained the optional entry in table T162(Reference data, item).
We are only able to see the Customer option in the display mode, but unable to see in the create or change mode.
Please advise is there any other setting is required for getting the customer field under billing address tab under line item in create and change mode so as to be able to select customer code directly.

i have a reuirement where i have to add custom field in delivery address/performance location tab in SRM shopping cart and Ship to address Pop-up in SRM PO
i am doing below steps for this.
1. Adding custom field ZZfield in structure INCL_EEW_PD_PARTNER_CSF by using append structure.
2. Spro ->Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross application basic settings -> Extensions and field controls (personalization) -> Configure field control ->Configure Control for Fields of Substructures
then click on "Metadata for Fields of Substructures and Table-Like Enhancements"
add the below entry
Bus. Object Set Type : I am trying 7 and 29
Structure Field Name : ZZfield
Bus. Object Type       : BUS2121/BUS2201
Set Level                    : Item
Field Visible : Check box should be checked
Field Enable : check box should be checked
Can anyone has the idea of this?

Please create a enchancement for component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO.
Add new input field and label in view V_DODC_SHIPTO.
Bind the input field value with field ZZfield from structure /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_SHIPTO in the context node SHIP_TO .

Hi, I want to make the address field in delivery address tab as mandatory for the combination PO type NB and accouting type F. The customer exit EXIT_SAPLMMDA_001 is not getting triggered for this. So could you please help me with this. I am trying to find a BADI.

I assume you are not in a global working company.
There are many countries in the world which do not have formal region codes and do not use tax jurisdiction codes.
So making all the fields mandatory would disturb others that are not even able to fill something.
I do not really understand the rational behind this, because the address fields are always filled, either from your plant address or (if maintained) from the storage location address, or from address of ship-to party of sales order in case of third-party POs.

How to delete a custom field created in Address Book template?

It is possible to create a new custom field name in any of the pop-up field categories in the preferences template for Address Book.
But, once created, there does not seem to be a way to delete or edit the newly created custom field name. That doesn't make sense.
Tell me that I am wrong, and then tell me how to delete or edit a custom field name. Thanks!!

Thanks Pascal, I can change the viewed template field areas as you have described. My problem was with modification of the pop-up list entries: adding, deleting, and renaming user created custom field entries. I have since figured out how Address Book allows these functions; unfortunately, that specific information is not present in the Address Book help file.

Use of Address field in Delivery Address tab of Purchase Order

In Purchase Order, there is field Address in Delivery Address tab.
How can we maintain Address in SAP.
Also in what scenario we use the Address.
My understanding is:
We have marinated the Plant Address as Sec-59, Gurgaon and while creating the Purchase Order, the System picks up the same address as mentioned in the Plant Configuration. Now we to deliver the Material in , say, Sec 69 in Gurgaon, in this case the concept of Address is used.

I have created the address and is working fine.
Here we have got some confusing scenario:
We have created a Company Code 1000 & Plants 1001 (in Delhi) & 1002 (in Mumbai) under Company Code 1000.
We (our client) want to create purchase Order from Plant 1001 (Delhi) but we the Material to be delivered to Plant 1002 (Mumbai). Is this possible? To be my knowledge, the Material is received in the Plant from where the Purchase Order is being generated. Also there will a Tax related problems.
What can we suggest to convince the Client?

Customer Exit for Delivery address

Hi Gurus,
Our Client Requirement:
At Present they are carrying out Import of materials in Single plant (P190).
In future they want to do Import PO for remaining plants in the Purchase Organisation (P191,P192,P193,P190).
But they have Import licence for one plant (P190).
Our client needs the delivery address to be same for all plants(i.e P190 address) irrespective of whatever may be the receiving plant (P191,P192,P193,P190).
Any Customer Exit is there for these.
otherwise any solution pleasee.

Hi,
I need to add custom fields in the delivery transaction(VL01N/VL02N) at Item level in Material tab screen.
Are there any screen exits available for delivery order in any other tabs or Do I have to modify the standard program.

We we would like to add our own customer fields to the delivery monitor (VL06), specifically to the selection screen of the List Outbound Deliveries report. Is there any way of doing this without copying and modifying the standard report?.

Custom field e-mail address

Hi, I would like to create a custom field for e-mail address with the correct e-mail address structure validation. Do you know the validiation codes for an e-mail address?

I had tried earlier to develop a syntaxt for Email field validation. What I could develop does a very basic field validation for emai adress.
syntax1-

Custom method to activate and de-activate custom fields.

Hi All,
I have appended 3 fields on sap std structire incl_eew_pd_item_csf_sc.
The requirement is by default the 3 fields will be not active.The custome fileds will only be changebale if G/L
account of thr item is maintained in table ztable.so i need to develop one custome method & custom class.
If g/l account is not maintained in the dedicated ztable ,these fileds will be de-activated & not ready for enduser.
In case of cost distribution on line item level, the three custom fields will be activated if at least one account assignment line of the item contains a G/L listed in ztable
what code should i write in the method?
Please give any suggestion.

Correct me if my understanding is wrong.
You have some custom fields shown in the screen which were added to the standard structure.
You want to control the display of those custom fields using the entry in ztable.
If that is the case, depending on the entry in the ztable u can use
   LOOP AT SCREEN
          IF screen-name EQ 'XXXX'.
                disable the field
                Modify screen.
          ENDIF.
   ENDLOOP.
-> U can create an implicit enhancement to create ur custom code.

Delivery address in PO item level

in PO item level there is a tab "Delivery address". Under this tab there is a Field "Address" having data for eg. 22706.
1.Please tell me from where this "address" comes. where is the customization for this "address".
2.Delivery address, is it related to storage location in the line item.

The address number used will be maintained on PO item table EKPO. The address number it uses is determined as follows (assuming standard SAP without user exits):
Default address;
- Storage Location Address, if maintained,
- Plant Address, if maintained AND If Storage Address is not maintained,
- Company Code Address, if maintained AND if the Plant & storage location addresses are not maintained
- Blank, if none of the above have been maintained
- If you look in table ADRC, this address will be assigned to address group CA01 (Customizing address)
- Maintenance of these addresses are performed in configuration.
The user has the option to change the default address, or add a vendor number,
    custom number, or address number in the fields on the right. They can only do
    one of these, not a combination of them
- Manual change of an address on the address tab:
     - If the address is physically changed on the screen, SAP will generate a new
       address number that applies to this PO only and cannot be reused on future POs.
     - In table ADRC, this address group is ME03 - One time vendor address.
- If they choose a vendor, the vendor number appears on the address tab, the address
     number for that vendor will be in table EKPO, in ADRC, it will account group BP
     (Business Partner)
   - Maintenance of this address is performed in the Vendor Master
- If they choose a customer, the customer number appears on the address tab, the
    address number for that customer will be in table EKPO, in ADRC, it will account
    group BP (Business Partner)
   - Maintenance of this address is performed in the Customer master
   - If they choose an address number, that number appears on the address tab, and
     that address number will be listed in ADRC as address group ME01 (Delivery Address)
   - maintenance of these addresses are performed in transaction code MEAN

BAPI_PO_CREATE1: same delivery address on several items?

Using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 I create a PO with - let's say - two items. I want to set one custom delivery address (no address number already available in SAP) for both, so I fill table param POADDRDELIVERY. Currently I would add two rows, one for item 10 and one for item 20. Both rows get filled with the same address data.
Unfortunately SAP then creates two address numbers, which leads to a printout of the PO where the same address is printed below each of the two items.
I would like to achieve that both items really are set up with the identical address (number). How could I do this?
I thought of using BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE to create the address before creating the PO and then using the address number, but it seems I can only change existing addresses with that.
