Activate drop down menu in browser

I have a palm pre plus on att. I'm trying to figure out how to get a drop down navigation bar to work on a web page. On my computer, I can do this by hovering on the bar. i can't get it to work on my pre.

Can you be more specific; a drop-down menu for what navigation purpose. Currently the drop-down menu will take you to saved bookmarks, create bookmarks, etc; what are you looking for?

Drop down menu turning to all caps after clicked in browser

Problem. drop down menu turning to all caps after clicked in browser, instead of staying upper and lower case.
Originally, I made the drop downs in fireworks CS3. Then when I work with them in dreameaver CS3.
It looks perfect UNTIL ... after clicking on dropdown once, then go back to that page and that particular dropdown menu turns to ALL CAPS instead of what it should look like.
How can I make it NOT do that?
I did NOT do any special code that I know of to cahnge anything, I hav not experienced this problem before.

I have attached the automatically generated .css file from fireworks that might be the source of the problem.

Take a look for this selector in your greenair.css file:

Found some instructions but they called for using keys my computer doesn't have ( key in OSX There is no file, edit , history, help, tools, navigation, all the things your directions say to use. Also I always get hung up and the message a scrip is running. I don't know what thises scrips are but I sure don't need them.

Browser drop down menu not working

My browser/navigation drop down menu is no longer working. I'm unable to select my most visited sites without have to type in the web address every time, how do i fix this issue?

I can access the website, but the drop down menu (from the navigation menu bar) doesn't save the web address, so i still have to type in comcast.net or www.yahoo.com every time, vs clicking on the drop down menu (from the navigation menu bar) if that makes sense.

Linking a page as a browser window from a drop-down menu item

I have tried to link from a drop-down menu item to link to a small browser window instead of a full page. I tried using the "behaviors" but I got both the regular page and the browser window. Is there a way to make it just the browser window.

I tried that target=_Blank" but I still got the regular page plus the small browser window . I got rid of the Behavior for now. My aim is to would display the page in a simple 450 wide x 450 long browser window with a scroll bar with nothing else. If you can give me a code hint to do that, It would be appreciated. I'll figure out the rest.
My HTML coding skills are limited, as I'm used to using FP.(FP seems to be to the Web circles as the Bard's Scottish Play is to the theatrical world)

Selecting an item in a Drop Down Menu to activate a field

Hi,
I'm using LiveCycle Designer ES to create a dynamic form and I wish to have an 'other' field appear when 'other' has been selected in drop down menu. I've worked out how to give each of the drop down items a Specified Item Value and use this to trigger the presence of the 'other' field. However I'm not sure which event to use to activate the presence code.

You can write the code either in the change event of the dropdown or in the Exit event of the dropdown.
If you use the change event use the below syntax..
     if(xfa.event.newText =="Other")
          fieldName.presence = "visible";
If you are using the exit event use the below syntax..
     if(this.rawValue =="Other")
          fieldName.presence = "visible";

HI thanks for the reply I do not know you but dude thanks for trying to help, we are down here in Indonesia trying to save the rain forest, we are introducing the use of the coconut palm tree to ues in construction purposes, like flooring, studs etc. anyway enough of that, it will all be in the website if i can get it up, we are not trying to be cheap and do the site our selves but I need to know how to do this stuff so I can edit the site, and I really dig it.

Can I change the order of lines in a drop-down menu?

Can I change the order of items on a drop-down menu? Specifically, the "open" menu that comes up when I right-click on a link.
Putting "open in new tab" on top of "in new window" makes sense, of course, since it is used more often. But I do a lot of surfing, and had the old position in muscle memory. Re-training my brain to click on the first line instead of the second is taking a long time, and makes me grumbly.
I'd love to put it back to the old order. Can I? and, if so, how do I do it? (Please give me detailed instructions, IOW, please assume I am a complete simpleton, because sometimes I am.)
HP G62 w/ Win 7 home premium. If it matters, it's 64-bit.
And my old desktop, which has, yech, Vista. (I haven't upgraded it to F4 yet.)

I don't want everything added or saved in the location bar. Only urls that I used a lot used to be saved there but now every single url (and url within a url)I visit is being added to it.
How can I stop this? This just started happening.
I'm sure it's a simple browser setting but I've checked and nothing gives an option to control this.

A possibility is to open the links via the right-click context menu or a middle-click in a new tab to make sure that Firefox sees them as regular links.

Wrapping text in the navigation drop down menu

Help! Is there a way to wrap text in the navigation drop down menu. Some of the text is too long and sits outside of the drop down box. Is there code that I can insert in the below example or would this need to be specified in the css stylesheet that is attached? If this needs to go in the css stylesheet, then what would the code be for that?

Height is determined by content & end-user's default text size.
Look at the Adobe Forum top menu bar. Mouse over Store > sub-menus. When text wraps to more than one line, the sub-menu adjusts to content. If you increase text size in browser it's more obvious.

As an <li> tag is not a block level element like a or <div> tag you can store a <div> container within the <li> tag and create an element in that menu item and us the following tutorial to create multiple columns depending on the ordering:

Depending on your target browser you could also use the CSS3 column-count to define the amount of columns. But with just a quick glance at this I would say it only works in the the later versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE9+.

Why Adobe Acrobat XI Pro is not in the drop down menu?

I tried to activate Adobe Acrobat XI Pro (Windows) in a Windows 7 Virtual Machine in Parallels in my MacBook Pro, but it isn't available in the drop down menu that is shown to activate the product. My serial number is correct. What can I do?
I installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro in Boot Camp within the same computer, but I couldn't used it any more as I had a major failure with Windows 7 in such partition. Therefore, I couldn' deactivated it before reinstalling it in the Parallels virtual machine. In any case, there shouldn't be a problem with the License as the new installation is the second one, and I can't used the first installation anyway.

Displaying drop down menu lists on :hover

I've been working with CSS for a while and can employ mosts techniques, but this is my first time attempting to implement a drop down menu. The main reason I'm here is because I'm looking to better understand why my menu won't display at all and how to overlay these lists over other positioned objects on the page. I'd like to have my menu display horizontally in the black bar on the top of the page and have the ul's in the li's (drop downs) display when I hover over a menu link with some margin (about 30px) to the right of each link. Additionally I find that when I hover my mouse over a link unless both it and its drop down lists have a fixed width, the menu item will "jump" to the side; if possible instead I'd be interested in using flexible width for each menu item and just keeping the drop down lists set to a fixed width, but I don't know how to employ this without the margins being messed up. I'm also concerned about the slider region I implemented being pushed down as a result of the menu not being in the header bar.
I know this is kinda vague but to be honest I'm really not sure what to explain than otherwise just showing it to you, so if anyone can show me what I'm (not) doing in my CSS that should be different it would be really appreciated. Thanks so much.
