Activate in-app purchase upgrade on magisto on new ipod 5th gen ( was on ipod 4)
I've transferred magisto app from ipod 4 to ipod 5 but it's come up as basic account. I purchased the upgrade for £12.99 2 months ago and this does not appear on the ipod 5. I went through the motions of verifying my apple ID on ipod 5 and to purchase the upgrade again but a message came up- You have already purchased this subscription. Question- how to make purchased upgrade work on new ipod 5? Thanks

Does the app have an IAP download option in that allows you to download them and/or does the developer's website have any info on it about what to do ? If not then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

I recently upgraded to the ios 7.04 and ever since I am unable to download apps to my ipod (5th gen).
The new apps show up in my itunes library but they will not download onto my ipod.
I feel as though I have tried everything.

Some other apps say iOS 4+ but don't list the iPod Touch 2nd gen in the description, so I'm guessing they just don't work no matter the OS. However, the apps listed above say OS 3+ and just say ipod touch, so I think they should work. I'm running iTunes 10.3 but not the most recent release, and am updating as I type just in case that's the problem. Thanks for any help or advice! -

My ipod 5th gen says it is connected to the internet and i can go on apps that require an internet connection but whe i try to use the weather or another app that uses your current location it cant find me???
If you open the Maps app where does that say you are located?
For location the iPod uses the location of nearby routers that are in Apple's database of routers and their location. Thus it appears that Apple's database is incorrect. You do not have to be connected to the router, just within range.
Apple periodically updates their database based on information they obtain from iPhones, The iPhone has to have turned on the option to send info to Apple. no one has found another way to get the location of a router added/corrected.
You can confirm that by going to well-know place with wifi like Starbucks or McDonalds -
IPod 5th gen frozen after upgrading to iOS 8
I was able to download and install of iOS 8 on my iPod 5th gen (no iSight camera version). Everything went great, no errors or warnings. After it installed and the iPod reset, it is now stuck on a white screen with a black Apple and the progress bar. It has been stuck on this screen with the progress bar about 5/6 of the way across for hours.
It is still shows in iTunes with the model, capacity, and the check for update, restore iPod, backup now, and restore backup buttons. iTunes says it is on iOS 8. When I click on any of the above buttons, I get a message that "Find my iPod must be turned off before iPods can be restored." I feel like a ******* not turning Find My iPod it off before upgrading, but it should have told me to turn if off before upgrading.
I cannot power the iPod off to try to reset it, nothing happens.
Am I screwed and now have a metal and glass brick, or is there anything I can do?Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iTunes account no longer has everything on my iPod-5th gen. I want to put everything on my iPod on my iTunes on my new laptop without losing new purchases that are on the iTunes account or the old data on the iPod.

Also can't watch games on my ipad2 "unable to restore from iTunes" , iPhone 4s " unable to connect to MLB.com" or iPod 5th gen.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I bought a ipod 5th gen 32gig off a road side peddler for $175. It was working when I bought it. I wonted to remove his music and stuff off of it so I restored it with itunes and now it wont let me activate it. I do not have his info and I do not know how to get in touch with him I have had third gen ipods and never had any problums like this before Help!!!

You restore the media to your new computer using the backup you made of your old computer before it died. You did backup your computer, right?
