Could you tell me where to activate the TRM (Task and Resource Management) in WM?

First, you create the TRM site in:
SPRO>Logistics Execution>Task and Resource Management>Master Data>General Settings for TRM
You can assign your TRM site to you warehouse number here:
SPRO>Logistics Execution>Warehouse Management>Interfaces>Task and Resource Management>Assign Site
And you can also activate/deactivate the interface WM-TRM for some Source Storage Types / Destination Storage Types / Movement Type:
SPRO>Logistics Execution>Warehouse Management>Interfaces>Task and Resource Management>Control WMS-TRM Interface for Transfer Orders
Then, you continue with the rest of TRM customizing work.

Task and resource management - Task confirmation from supervisor

Hello,
we are implementing TRM. We would to like give to th supervisor the possibility to confirm task using monitor. This can be useful in case of downtime of mobile devices.
Currently it's possibile to confirm from the alert monitor only the tasks with status force confirmation (status = 7). In this case from a WM pont of view the picking is already cofirmed and through monitor it's possibile to confirm the task and so the putaway from WM point view
So we need to develop a functionality that confirm task indipendently from the TRM status and WM status..
I found the function LTSK_TASK_CONFIRM but it seems that doesn't work.
Have you any suggestions for the functionality or sample code to launch the function module LTSK_TASK_CONFIRM?
i think it's very strange that SAP hasn't developed a method in order to confirm a task and then TO without using mobile device.

Hi Andrea,
Why don't you just use tcode LP00? You will log on to your device/resource element as if you are logging on to a scanner. This tcode then simulates the scanner screens on your SAP terminal and you can confirm all tasks as per correct scanning functionality.

Task and Resource Management (TRM) - Replenishment/picking process

Hello everybody,
i need your help. We are implementing TRM module and we are facing issues with replenishment/picking process. We have storage location not HU Managed and wee have the necessity to create task bundle for picking/replenishment process.
Every times TRM make a bundle, it seems that force to execute a pick&pack
Regarding picking process when TRM creates a bundle it forces to specifiy a destination HU that will be inserted in the delivery as handling unit. So in this case we have no problem.
But in the replenishment process we haven't a delivery and so the standard avoid the insertion of HU.
The questions is:
1) Is possibile to have bundle without pick and pack? .

we haven't pick HU. I think that pick HU is only possibile for storage location HU managed. Our replenishment process foresees:
1) Make a bundle of picking from different source bins until
2) Make a bundle of putatway to different destination bins
So in we are facing two main problems that are driving us crazy:
1) The bundle in TRM works only in the pick and pack scenario. So in our warehouse replenishment (LP22) it doesn't work. A solution could be to make a cluster of task but it's not possibile to managed it in a system guided way. Maybe we have solved this problem by forcing HU numbers in the standard fields even if don't exist at IM or WM level. It's a dirty solution, i know.
2) Other problem is to manage a pick and drop. Operator could executed the picking bundle and then leave the mixed pallet in a drop-off point. Next an other operator has to scan the serial number of mixed pallet and put each material to a different bin.
Stantdard system can create only one task with the mixed pallet composed to the final destination while we have the necessity ti have n task.
I don't know if it's clear and someone could helps us in order to implement the scenario described above.
Other problems is that it seems impossible to develop custom functionalities in TRM because frequently the next step in the Logical transaction is harcoded in the standard code

HI SAP GURUS
I have created a Transfer Order with 4 line items for 4 different materials. And I have created 4 tasks with reference to the same TO in TRM Monitor. System is generated same group reference number for all tasks. Now how to assign this group reference number to a warehouse resource (worker) to create a task bundle?

Problem in Task and Ressource Management

I am working on Task and Resource Management, configured the system as per the requirements for TRM, then created inbound deliveries and Transfer order for that deliveries the TO is not confirmed. But when I am executing the TRM Monitor and dragging thes site to inbound delivery number onto the transfer order, the TO do not exit in the TRM Monitor.
Why itu2019s not coming any suggestion please.

Please check the tabl entries in SE16 or similar
1. Assigned the site to the WH number (T340DT-LOCAT)
2. Activated TRM for the movement type/Storage types (T347A-KZINA)
2. Turned two step confirmation on for source and destination storage types (T331_B-QUEIN & T331_B-QUAUS)
Can you see anything in LTRM TRM monitor (no selections = only enter site number) i.e. a delivery number or TO?
If not please try:
1 Transaction LTRCC
2. Deleting the data delivery/TO and recreated it?
If this does not help, I could take a look at you setup if you allow external access?

I am wondering if anyone would have and is willing to share some documentation they may have put together around reporting views related to Project Management and Resource Management modules. We are installing the projects suite and I have never done custom reporting out of these modules and would be interested in feedback or documentation anyone may have related to these or any offer of assistance or direction in designing the reporting views.

What I can say. Maybe you should use SAP PPM as a operational Project Management tool and integrate it with WBS elements and projects in SAP PS. Probably it will be the best solution for you.
The second way is to use a second project structure for project management as you wrote, with different number of this project. So you will have 2 structures one for actual posting of costs and the second for rest management needs and statistical posting of costs. Probably you will need CO substitution for posting of costs to post costs on these 2 structures.
There will be many other conditions to get right solution but I think this 2 ways are possible.

Roles tasks and resources assignment

Hi there.
I'm working in CProjet and I need to complete role definition; I can define staf (STAFFING TAB) and assign task (TASK TAB).
In TASK TAB I can create also association between role, task and resource; now, I seem that STAFFING TAB considers TASK TAB assignment, but instead no automatic workload distribution happen.
It looks like no resources link exist between TAB...
Any suggestion about?

Hi,
In Staffing tab there is required capacity and available capacity.
Required capacity is given to role and that can be distributed in general tab if distribution activated to that role type.
Available capacity will be associated with the resource and that is given during staffing.
You can not distribute required capacity in staffing tab as it is taken from Role.

We have an intermitant problem which is badly affecting a group of our users. Can anyone help identify what SERVER this message is talking about???
Details: CF-19 Panasonic Tough Book, McAfee Enterprise 8.7i, Windows XP 2005 Tablet Ed. SP3.
Problem at login intermittantly we get a unmanagable/unresponsive window stating the following:
Window Name: Server Busy
Text: This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose ‘Switch To’ to activate the busy program and correct the problem
Buttons: Switch To, Retry, Cancel (Grayed out)
Event Viewer Message:
Source: DCOM, Type Error,

with DCOM within the required timeout.
I searched the registry for {D63.....} and found keys relating to "TCServer.exe" Little info available. But found
((KB895953 - Memory Leak in Windows XP Tablet PC Edition )) but this seems related to a pre SP3 update.... we have SP3 installed can I still install this patch?
I searched {6B1....} and found keys relating to "TSFManager". Again little information available.
How can I identify the servers with the long {XXXXXXXXX} keys, and what is tcserver.exe?

If the problematic XP PC is in a domain, please provide us more information on it, such as how many DCs, member servers and the OS versions. Does the error only
occur on one XP PC? Does the issue occur when logging on as some certain users? When did the issue begin to occur? Have you installed software, hardware or updates recently?
Please check whether the error occurs in Clean Boot mode.

I have no other programs open and when I wait a bit it clears with the 'retry' button. Happened following a recent update. I'd really like this to go away - any ideas?

For me this happens when I have Zenfolio or Facebook open in Google Chrome, even if Google Chrome is not active. If you use Chrome, when the error shows up open Chrome and close each one of the tabs and click on the retry in Lightroom. Also happens if Internet explorer is running with either of these two programs.

Does Siebel license limits the Max task of Object Manager?

We installed a Siebel environment on a Linux VM (Linux version el6.x86_64, Read Hat 4.4.6-4, the VM has 64g ram). The database (Oracle 11.2.0.0.1) and Oracle Http Server (ofm_webtier_linux_11.1.1.6.0_32) were also installed in the same VM. We used HP loadrunner to do a performance testing, finding out the maximum concurrent user of Siebel Marketing OM. We've set the MT Server=1 and MaxTask=500. Every time the task of Marketing OM reaches 43, the OM just went "offline". No more task will be created. We check SWSE log, there were errors like "SBL-SMI-00216: Internal: Not an error, all the threads are busy". We don't know what was wrong with this. Does Siebel license limits the Max task of OM ? We used temporary Siebel license because the test was for a trial customer.

I don't think it's the license that is blocking, but technical resources.
You could try to set the MaxTask to 40 and the Max MT Server to something like 13.
But you have to check if your environment can handle 13 MT servers.

Hi,
Tasks automatically get created based on Transfer orders with the help of this BADI and program:
LTRM_RQST_GLOBL_SCAN. Look at example implementation class inside BADI definition.
After implementing this BADI.
Call this Function Module to create tasks automatically:
LTRQ_REQST_SCHDL or you can set up this program RLTRQSCHEDULER in background
For you to assign a task , use the following FM:
LTSK_TASK_ASSIGN
