Activated LabVIEW 8.6 and now Labview 7.1 won't run

Hello folks,
I have a development computer that has had LV7.1 and LV8.6 installed on it for several months; however, I have only used LV7.1 because LV8.6 was not activated...until yesterday. Now LV7.1 will not run, and the symptoms are as follows:
When I click the LV7.1 .exe the LV7.1 splash screen comes up, but it hangs when the message on the splash screen says "Server: Exported VIs list OK". I have let it stay in this state for 15minutes, but the application doesn't go any further than this.
I have tried:
1. repairing LV7.1
2. uninstalling and reinstalling LV7.1
1. Should it be possible to execute LV7.1 or LV8.6 on the same computer?

Thanks for the information. Just to keep the thread in tact, renaming the LabVIEW.ini file did not do the trick (I assume the idea was that the .ini file may have been corrupt/erroneous and deleting it would force LabVIEW to re-create it)?
I am using the fpga module for LV7.1 and the fpga and real-time modules for LV8.6. From a very lengthy process of installing/uninstalling/re-installing LV and the fpga/real-time modules, it appears that LV7.1 becomes "un-runnable" when the fpga module (8.6.1) is activated. I don't have a clue about why this is happening.
I think my solution is going to be to create 2 bootable (i.e. System) partitions; one for LV7.1 and one for LV8.6 and unmount the drive for the one that is not in use. It's not ideal (I'd prefer to have one system drive with both LV7.1 and LV8.6 installed on it), but it isn't working out so I have to adapt and overcome.

Turn it off using iTunes, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3577. If your colors are inverted, also go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Invert Colors to Off.

When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.

Hi mnomi! Sorry to learn of the trouble you're running into with your new phone! Have you already switched the device via your My Verizon : http://vz.to/16lkVUY Once you have done this, and verify the sim card is inserted securely, the activation will begin. If the phone is stuck on the wheel and you cannot move forward, you may want to do an alternative reset. Please follow the below instructions:
1) Ensure the device is powered off.
2) Press and hold the Volume Down button (located on the right edge) until instructed to release in step 4.
3) Press and hold the Power button (located on the top-right edge) until the device vibrates (approximately 2 seconds) then release.
4) When the restore screen appears (exclamation mark), release the Volume Down button.
5) From the restore screen, press then release the following keys to initiate the reset process:
1. Volume Up button
2. Volume Down button
3. Power button
4. Volume Down button
*Allow several minutes for the process to complete (rotating gears appear on the display to indicate that the reset is in progress).

I was messing around with .kext files in the MacintoshHD and now my MacBook Pro won't start up.

I was messing around with .kext files in the MacintoshHD and moved the system.kext and two others to my desktop and deleted the originals and now the MacBook Pro won't start up. All I get at start up is the apple icon then a bunch of text shows up part of which says Mac OS version: not yet set. then the apple icon turns into the power icon and tells me to turn off the computer. I've tried reinstalling from the install DVD by holding down option when powering on and selecting the install DVD and it just goes to a white screen with the apple icon and stays like that. I didn't have the disk utility on my Mac before this happened because I deleted it to make room on my computer a while ago so I'm not sure if that's why it won't load the install DVD but anyone who knows the solution to this with out going to get it repaired would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Never mind my dad just found the original install DVD and that worked. Before I was using an install disc that Apple sent me for another issue I was having, but thanks for replying so quickly and trying to help on this Thanksgiving day!!!

It appears that the 64bit install messed up the device drivers for the Apple mobilie devices connecting as USB.
I tried many things, I may have missed a step below. But the following is what I believe was the fix - since it worked on a 2nd PC.
Make sure you are using an administrator account. Any of them on your machine will do for the following
a) Get Windows to restart the drivers:
    - disconnect your USB device and close ITunes
    - connect your USB device
    - if ITunes loads, close it.
b) File explorer:
Open File explorer and browse to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
In that folder there should be a set of files named "usbaapl64...."
right click on the one ending in "INF"
Select Install. It's very quick.
remove the USB device
c) Restart the computer.
When you login again, load ITunes before you attach your USB device.

There's a few different possibilities with a code 10, Kelly. To narrow in on the likeliest culprits it would help to have a closer look at your system.
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
