Activated new devour, now no internet?

OK.So I broke my last devour, got a replacement in the mail. I had to go to another town to activate it because we don't have any Verizon towers, only alltel. So I did everything I was instructed to, its all activated, and in that town my internet and data were working fine. I'm now back home and no internet. I had this phone before, and data package and it worked fine, my husbands droid also works fine. How do I get my data/internet to work everywhere instead of just that one town w.o all the roaming options? Does anyone know, or should I just try to call them and go from there?
sidenote--my husbands droid has data options in his wireless settings along w.the roaming options, my phone however doesn't.

losophias, I am sorry your experiencing issues with your data connections. If your phone is roaming when you connect to the internet or data, you will need to ensure the data roaming feature on your phone is unchecked. I have listed the information below to manage this option.
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Settings.
Touch Wireless controls.
Touch Mobile networks.
Touch Data roaming.
Data Roaming is Enabled when a green check mark is present. Make sure there is no green check mark in that field.
If prompted, touch OK.
You also will need to ensure your cookies are accepted. You can use the steps below.
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Browser.
Touch Menu.
Touch More.
Touch Settings.
Touch Accept cookies.
Enabled when a green check mark is present.
Lastly, power the phone off and on can also re-establish your browser connection and if you continue to have additional issues, you may call us from an alternate phone for trouble shooting.

Error 8062 when I try to copy or move files on my macbook: "This operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8062)". Can even not install new software now!!

Since a few days when I try to copy or move files on my macbook, I often get an error message saying "This operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured (error code -8062)". And then it just quits the copy or move.
I searched a lot on the internet, but only found solutions for cases you cannot empty the trash due to this issue.
I tried those solutions for my trash and that helped after some trying.
However, I still have the problem with copying and moving files.
I even cannot install new software now, as it has to copy itself to the programs-directory, and gives the same error-message.
Who can help me??
Cannot seem to find any info on it on the support-forums or elsewhere.
My user-account is administrator, I use a 13" Macbook Aluminium (Late 2008). Mac OS X 10.6.8 CPU 2Ghz Intel Core Duo, RAM: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3.

Tips I received so far (thanks to A-Mac via Twitter http://www.a-mac.nl and Remco Kalf http://www.remcokalf.nl/)
- make sure you have at least 10% of your harddisk in free space (I had only 5%).
- do a PRAM-reset (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379)
- perform a hardware test (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509)
- make a complete backup (with for example Carbone Clone Copier, see http://www.bombich.com/)
- after complete backup: use diskwarrior (boot from Diskwarrior DVD, first perform diagnostics, then perform "Rebuild" which rebuilds your file directory).
So far I only cleared up some space on my HD, and already the problem occurs less.
Still, I will go through the other tips too.

Try this:
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
See if you are able to connect now.

I had the same problem with my iPhone 4, except mine did the exact opposite. I had to turn off wifi completely and stay on the 3g network. Luckily Verizon has unlimited data usage so it kinda solved that problem. The app store only works half the time and you can get on the internet, but you cant browse anything. The search engine works, but you cant open any pages. I dont know who your carrier is, but Verizon replaced mine under warranty with an iPhone that is still on the previous operating system. I spoke with Apple and Verizon about all the problems, and after numerous updates and restores and changing just about every setting in the phone nothing helped. The internet problem is just an awesome feature of the new iOS5!

You want to restore from the backup. Do not set up as new. You can read the article that Tom posted above, but it really is pretty simple.
Transfer any purchases from the old iPad into iTunes, backup the old iPad in iTunes and them sync one more time.
Connect the new iPad and when prompted during activation, restore from the backup that you just created and then sync with iTunes.
The new iPad should be identical to the old iPad, but you will have to enter some passwords again on the new device.

Check your Apple TV is connected to the internet and that your iTunes store location is set correctly.
Try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router.

This issue is blocking my access to iTunes and any other file from my home computer. It keeps on telling me that I have to autorise my computer to pass on files, yet, it seems, for all this to happen, I need to get logged in through the phone's Apple ID. This of course is different to my one on my computer - and I have no password for it.
This phone is not stolen!! I payed still a fair bit for it. Am still in contact with the previous owner. He doesn't know how to fix the problem either.
Would appreciate any suggestion ????

Settings>general>resets>erase all content and settings.
That will put it back to its out of the box state. Set it up with your own apple Id.

Olp PC crashed, new PC now how do I get my music back?

Have new PC now. Saved all folders from old PC HDD. Will install iTunes 7.6 on new PC but how should I get my music back from the old PC's HDD? My iPod contains music purchased from iTunes, plus music from alot of CD's I own. WOuld like to recover music from my old HDD rather than synching from iPod (which I don't know how to do anyway!)

Yes, just delete the duplicates but make sure to keep at least one copy!
Actually it might be easiest to start over - totally clear your library, and make sure this copy setting is turned off

Whenever I got to folder properties its always checked read only. But when i play the song it works just fine. Im sure this is just because I added music into itunes folder but is there anyway to fix it?

WMA files are 'window media audio' files, which is a Microsoft format. If you want to add them to your iTunes library on your Mac then you will need to convert them into a compatible format first.
