Activating an iTunes University Site

The activation link to set up my iTunes University account doesn't work any more. Does anyone know who I can contact to resolve this?

  • No Down-loads Possible at HACC iTune University

    Our entire HACC iTune University site is unable to down-load. Both manual selection and subscribe fail to start a down-load. Site has been down since July 25. I can go to other University sites and down-load. Our HACC site seems to be the only one down. Why?

    I checked out your site and found no problems downloading. This could be related to another problem we corrected. Read this thread:

    If the problem still exists, I would ask that you use the debug page to determine if credentials are being passed that allow download access.

    I live in DUBAI - UAE, and we need to creat a itunes u site for our university. It is one of the largest universties of the region.
    But when i go to create a site, in country list i don't find name list of limited countires, and UAE isn't there.

    Sorry, but iTunes U is not available in the UAE, so you cannot set up a site for your institution. When, or indeed if, iTunes U will ever be expanded beyond the countries in which it is currently available is something none of us here can say.

  • Problem Activating Itunes U site

    The activation email is sent to whomever is listed in the iTunes U enrollment as the the program manager and we sometimes see activation failures when an activation email is forwarded. Email systems can at times add characters to the end of the activation URL which changes the URL and causes activation failure. If the program manager decides to pass iTunes U site activation duties to another individual, it may be helpful to copy/paste the activation url into the email separately.

    The message reads:
    "We have accepted your executed iTunes U service agreement. The project manager listed in your iTunes U application has received further instructions to activate your iTunes U site.
    For information on getting started with iTunes U Public Site Manager, you can review our admin guide
    You can view and download your executed service agreement at any time by returning to our enrollment form
    and signing in using your Apple ID. "
    1.  I am the project manager and I have not received further instructions.
    2. The link "our enrollment form" just takes me back to square one....asking me to fill another application out
    3. Help me activate our iTunes U site please

    Hi, I have been on the iTunes university free course site and seen videos and documents before. Now, it doesn.t seem to work for some courses.

    We have been experiencing issues with uploads today. It will sometimes require multiple attempts. The error message that we receive most often is:

  • Can we use "Name of Institution on iTunes U" on our iTunes U site?

    We are redesigning our institution's iTunes public site. We have a few proposals and one is to use the text "Name of Institution on iTunes U" and there is some question if this is OK by Apple?
    Having read the 'Promoting Your iTunes U Site' document http://images.apple.com/support/itunesu/docs/iTunes_Promote_UGuide.pdf it does not instruct what can and can't be used on the the actual iTunes U site. Are there guidelines for the actual iTunes U public site as to what text and images can and cannot be used?

    You comment regarding redundancy with using "on iTunes U" within our iTunes U site has already been raised and we have used it as you have recommended on our launching page 'http://podcasts.swinburne.edu.au/itunesu/' but there is still a murmuring request from the working group to use it on the iTunes site also. I will report to the working group your comments and you have not mentioned there is no restriction to using "on iTunes U". I will also let you know what the final decision will be.
    I am coordinating the working group in regards to the redesign of our site and (mostly) reserving my opinion during the process but a comment from me is, I think users could use some more information highlighting they have arrived at iTunes U not the Music or Movie or Apps or Podcast section etc. The bread crumb is the only indication you are browsing iTunes U. Do you think there is a need to help users differentiate between the sections or should it be just a whole iTunes Store experience?

  • Trouble establishing iTunes U site

    I attempted a few weeks ago to set up our iTunes U site and have just gotten back to it. I am not certain if I answered "Yes" or "No" when prompted to create our site, but now I cannot access the link emailed to me from Apple (Message: "The iTunes U site for the domain gardner-webb.edu is already activated."), and the transfer information I saved is presenting problems (leaving me to guess I may have said "no" and do not have the correct transfer info). This link (https://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Browse/gardner-webb.edu) opens itunes but gives me connection error messages. Our debug suffix is /txj555.
    I have read through other similar posts but have not gotten enough information to forge ahead. Can someone please check us out to see if we are OK up to this point (before proceeding to Chp 2 of the Admin guide) or if we have done something wrong. Thanks! Didi

    It sounds like you have not created your transfer script. Please see the Chapter 2 documentation and example scripts at http://www.apple.com/support/itunes_u. Also you might find the FAQ at the top of http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1175&start=0 helpful.

  • Podcast is not updating its episodes on our school iTunes U site, but on general iTunes U site.

    One of our podcast is not updating its episodes on our (University of Minnesota) public iTunes U site.

    Guys, I just upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios6, it took 2 hours get it installed. However asfter installing there are issues with activating it.

    No, I did not find a way to fix it.  Went to Apple store to be told that the phone is dead and I would need to purchase a new phone.  A little frustrated with the fact that it is Apple who caused the phone to not work!
