Activating Dispute Management in Biller Direct

We are on ERP 6.0
We have now got our Biller Direct portal to work, and we are using UME for auth's
I have had a look at the configuration notes regarding the integration between BD and DM, and I have performed them, but it is still not showing up on the portal.
We have re-booted the Portal server as well.
Any help greatly received.

  • Biller Direct - Paid Bills

    Hi,
I configure the biller direct component, and I have the following problem:
The bills on the frontend are paid. Their state is in "In Process".
Now, if I use the transaction code F-28 to post the incoming payments, and activate the document number I want to post, I get the message "Item not activated; already arranged via Biller Direct".
I read that all paid bills will be balanced automatically after the payment date. But thats not the case.
    Anyone can help?

  • Biller Direct modification

    Biller Direct 3.0 SP9
It seems that we must implement some modifications in Biller Direct. F.e. the query for the user's business partners after log-in have to give additional parameters to the SAP function.
What is the right way in general to include such modifications when developing JSP components to make sure after upgrades the modifications work as before?

SAP provided information on the modification guide for Biller Direct 6.0 -
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/fscm/">http://service.sap.com/fscm/</a>
SAP ERP -> SAP ERP Financials -> SAP Financial Supply Chain Management->SAP Biller Direct -> Media Library
The document name is 'Modification BD FIAR/FICA ENGLISH/GERMAN'
Does anyone have information on the tools used and steps to unpack the SDA file so that you can make changes to the files?

  • FSCM: Biller Direct using Dispute Management

    Hi,
I've implemented SAP Biller Direct and I want to use the dispute management to create dispute cases directly from the webportal.
Dispute Management is activated. Its already possible to create cases in the backend (and to modify these cases on the frontend), but if I try to create a new case directly on the frontend, I get the following message:
"This service isn't available at the moment."
I dont know what to do. The biller direct integration in the Dispute Management is definitely activated. Customizing is done as well.
    Any ideas?
    Regards
    Rainer

    Hi,
have you activated all of the user id settings for Biller Direct? (XCM)
where are the 'user id settings' ? I've configured the userinterface, connectionmanager and application settings.
can you make any changes from Biller Direct to ERP?
    - Yes, I can change the administrative data (integrated with accounts receivable).
    - I can pay bills. Marked as 'arranged by Biller Direct' in the ERP. How can I post them, or is it done automatically?
What version of ERP are you using 6.0 or an older version?
    Right, I'm using ECC 6.0.
Have you got your BASIS / PORTAL guys to check the connections that everything is open? (JCO's)
    The connection works.

  • Disputes for Credit Notes are not displayed in Biller Direct

Issue: Back end ECC, allows us to create disputes on stand alone credit notes, but on the Biller Direct front end we are not able to see the disputes created.
    Description in detail:
    1. When a dispute is created on a credit note, system treats it as a Customer Disputed Credit Memo (CDIS_CRED) and it is created in ECC with relation F6.
    2. On the Biller Dircet Front end , standard actually display disputes for a Invoice created with relation F1 and F2. So we are not able to see the Customer Disputed Credit Memos.
    3. Front End (Biller Direct) allows only open invoices to be disputed and not credit notes, even though it is allowed in ECC.
We would like to know if you have come across this scenario before and have resolved it either through customization or Configuration.
    Advice/Recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Dave,
I just saw this thread now and I am glad I can share the solution with you:
For View: PRDIOOV/OBJECTOV, debug method GET_LIST_OF_STATIC_VIEWS and find out why system is suppressing some assignment blocks.
For some reasons, SAP has included these methods in Product Overview page which are meant to suppress some Assignment Blocks depending upon their usability.
Just redefine this method and delete the views from the Static Views Result List. Following is the sample code:
    CALL METHOD SUPER->GET_LIST_OF_STATIC_VIEWS
      RECEIVING
        RT_RESULT = rt_result.
    DELETE rt_result WHERE viewid = 'CUSRQMSLAPro.SRQM_SLAPRO/MainWindow'.
    DELETE rt_result WHERE viewid = 'SrvEnt.PRDSRV/SrvEntOVE'.
    DELETE rt_result WHERE viewid = 'ZIOBJECT_VC/VC'.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Biller Direct User unable to view open bills Once DirectDebit is activated

    Hi All,
We are working on ECC 6 and we also have Biller Direct configured for the users to make online
    financial transactions.
But we have two problems as of now.
    1. WHen ever the Direct Debit is activated for the user, the User is not able to see his open bills. Once we remove the
direct debit authorization, again the Open bills are shown. We are facing this problem only after upgrade.
    2. Another problem is for some particular users, no open bills are shown at all, irrespective of whether the user has
direct debit or not. I have debugged the RFC which returns the bills to Biller Direct. At the end of the Function module all the
open bills are returned correctly. But they are not shown up on the Biller Directc screen.
Can some one please tell us and hel;p us on what exactly is going wrong?
    Thanks in advance.

    Y Gautham.

  • SD Credit memo from Dispute management

    Hi Experts
I need help in creating credit memo from Dispute management. I have contacted SAP for it and they suggested that it would be customization. Requirement is to create Credit memo directly from Dispute management module (Having a tab in UDM_Dispute ). Once i select that option it should create VA01 credit memo belongs to dispute details (assuming dispute was created belongs to SD billing document).
Can anyone direct me on which BAPI to be activated and which workflow event to get triggered etc?
Appreciate any help and points will be rewarded.
    Thanks
    Aleem

    Hi Aleem
Were you able to accomplish that? If yes, can you please share the details? We have a similar requirement and want to initiate a credit memo request from dispute case.
    Thanks

  • Dispute management reporting

    Hi all,
i'm doing some research into the disputes management module for my company who wish to use it to manage around 7500 claims per month.
I'm trying to identify what the reporting is like from SAP, but i cant see any standard reports for disputes management, only comments to say that the data is extracted to BI as standard.
Is there no dispute management reporting directly out of SAP (ECC6)?  Alternatively does anyone have experience writing reports in SAP for disputes management cases?
    Thanks
    Phil

The main area for dsipute management reporting is within the BI module.
That is not to say there are not standard ERP reports - however they are very basic.
The main report can be run by user, customer, reason code and status with drill down functionality into the dispute.
The volume of disputes would mean you would ideally be suited to BI, as you would want summary reports.
There is standard BI Business Content - but normally a client would enhance this to bring in billing and accounting information.

  • Questions on SAP Biller Direct Java Customization

    Hi,
I am working on SAP Biller Direct java customizations. Can anyone help me find answers to these questions.
--  I have created local DC from the Biller direct track in NWDI. I would like to change the User registration page in Biller Direct.
Can any one let me know the JSP page name for that and where can i find it in the components.
--- Also all this development do i have to do it in J2EE perspective and checkin my changes?
Also i would like to know if anyone can send some documents on devlopment part of Biller direct.
    Thanks

    Hi Aparna,
I have a couple quick questions about BD development and would really appreciate it if you could provide some advice since we are starting our build soon.
In my NWDI track, I have component FSCMBD and several other of the required SAP components. I did not create a new product or component, just followed the procedure in this thread: https://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1331894. Is that the method you recommend?
I am concerned about doing development directly on the FSCMBD component. How do I prevent my developers from modifying BD source code? Is the idea that they will create independent DCs in NWDS (as you described) and only modify those? I just want to make sure that we are doing development in a way that is supported and will not cause issues when applying SPs or upgrades to FSCMBD.
I also want to confirm that this "create project" activity is not something that I need to do as an Administrator in the NWDI track; this is something my java developers will need to do in NWDS at the beginning of the build.
    Thanks Aparna!

  • Biller Direct and R/3

    Hi,
We have installed SAP Biller Direct application on J2EE 620 engine integrated with SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise (WAS 620). For user management security we will use ABAP stack.
The link of this Biller Direct Application will be provided on company's web portal (not SAP Ent. Portal). Once user click on link , Biller Direct application will open it another browser window.User must create their own user id and password.Other information will also be asked like Last Name ,first name, etc) during user id and password creation. Basically user will create their own user master record. (just think of it as you are creating an email account in Yahoo portal connected to R/3)
    My question is :-
    1) What configuration I need to do on J2EE and R/3 side so that user record will be created in R/3 when user creates it's own ID and password?
2)If I want to link LDAP with R/3, how I can link the LDAP with R/3 (user mapping ) will it be automatic, once the user creates it user id in web portal? OR do i have manually synch LDAP and R/3
    I will appreciate your response
    Thanks

This forum handles anything matching pattern B*. Unfortunately the first sentence with J2EE already indicated that we will have to request that you kindly ask in another forum. I can see that you problem is actually more between Java and ABAP stack, so I am not sure which of the other forums can help. I am lost here.

    That's definitely a bug in 8.1. I filed CR111393 for it.
Can you show me your weblogic.log file? There's something wrong with
your application, and the deployment is failing. You should see a
message like: can't read ... right before the NullPointerException.

ok, anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
I'm just trying to deploy a simple .ear that contains 1 web module with a single
html file + servlet in it. I've used WebLogic builder to open the .ear, then
saved in WebLogic builder, then did a Deploy Module...
A quite similar technique works flawlessly in JBoss, but for some reason WebLogic
complains on this pretty simple example. Is this a bug in 8.1?
In this WebLogic deployment i've used the WebLogic builder to open the .ear and
then pressed Save which generated the WebLogic specific deployment descriptors.
Apart from that it's about the most simple .ear/.war example I can make.
    Any help much appreciated,
    Greg

  • Biller Direct Customer's Payment Advise

    Hi,
I am having an issue with Biller Direct (BD). The customer creates the payment advise in BD (starting with 09) and it is available in SAP with FBE3 and in BD showing the invoices to be paid and the amounts. It also shows any credits that the customer is using for the payment. Then when the payment is processed by Lockbox, the payment advise information in BD and SAP is deleted. The Lockbox report shows that the system created a  new payment advise (starting with 01), but I have not found the way to see the new payment advise.
The issue is when the customer disputes a payment, I have no way to see the original payment advise created by the customer to show the customer that the payment was applied according to the payment advise they created. Is there a way to see the original payment advise, does the system keep a history for the payment advises?
Thank you in advance for your help

    Hi Manish,
I tried to search but I guess there is no OSS note/SAP fix for this issue.
Our client wants to implement it in our project.
So, I was thinking is it possible to do it? I mean technically from ABAP enhancements? Or is it simply impossible to achieve this and I would be wasting time on it.
Can you please help a bit?
    Regards,
    Shweta

  • Biller Direct Electronic Bill Payment and Pool User

    Hi,
We have an internet front end system that will encapsulate the Biller Direct pages. This system contains the user management engine.
Biller direct can utilise pool users to connect the web server to biller direct. Would it be possible to have bills viewed and paid for using a pooled user rather than individual unique userids.
I was then planning to implement the logic to restrict viewing by customers in the web server.
    Thank you.

    Re: Bill Payment Fees
I do not understand why I have to pay a fee of $2 to pay my account at the post office. You are using a bullying tactic to make me do something that I am not comfortable with. You will charge me a late fee if I do not pay by a certain date but you do not even consider dropping the $2 fee when I pay my account within 2-3 days of me receiving my account at the post office. What has happened to loyalty to the customer. I have had an account with you for many, many, many years.
I pay all my bills at the post office (house rates, water rates, power, gas and even my home phone) and am not charged for any of these. It is so, so wrong. I have rung and talked to someone but got no satisfaction. I am so upset about this. It is not just the $2, but the principle of it all. It is soooo wrong.
