I received an activation link and successfully activated our itunes U account. But now I am unable to access the site to begin setting it up. Please advise on what I should do.

Wondering if you can help here on the sctivation of our Public Site Manager...
I've activated the site, via the welcome msg from iTunes - and can login to the site within the iTunes app using my/our AppleID (is administor) - but for some reason, the apple ID doesn't work when trying to login to the PSM from safari (the login url you proved above).
The apple ID login works everywhere else when logging into apple services.
Any ideas?
FYI - we've had trouble for the last months with the migration to the PSM!

I have 2 active itune accounts on the same laptop. My orginal account was set up 3 yrs ago I believe for an ipod that I have but I hadn't used it in a long time. I have purchaed a few songs and ring tones from this new account, but since then I logged out and started using my old account a week or so ago. Stop using the account.
You need do nothing more.
You will need to authorize your computer for both accounts as you have purchased from both accounts.

Activated iTunes Match, now most of my music is missing...

After I upgraded to IOS6, I activated iTunes Match. Now almost all of music on my iMac is missing. When I click on a song, itunes says it can't find the song and asks if I want to try and locate it. All the songs now have have exclamation marks in a little cloud next to them.

I upgraded yesterday and all of my music was gone. I found a backup file of my music on my external hard drive. I put the files in my itunes media file and they are now showing up on itunes. However I lost all of my playlists. If you have a backup file maybe you can restore your music.

Although I am confused as to why you think you need to cancel iTunes Match. Didn't you originally subscribe on the US store? Or were you signed into the Indian store with a different Apple ID?

Activating itunes match kills my network

activating itunes match consistently brings my 15mb internet connection to a crawl. Packet loss etc.. kill itunes and my overall connection goes back to 15 mb. While iTunes Match is running and doing its thing connection is like 1 or 2mb and packet loss. This is a consistent repeatable problem.

You haven't said if the first iTunes Match session on your computer has been completed. If it has not, then it's possible that's contributing to your troubles.
Even if it is not, the first suggestion I have is to go to the settings on your Music app and toggle the new setting that appears once you have match enabled. Set it so show only the songs that are on your iPod Touch. By default it will show you what is in the cloud, plus what is local on the iPod Touch. So long as that music got on the iPod Touch from the computer you are using for iTunes Match, it should all still be there.
You may also want to power off the iPod Touch, wait a minute and power it back up.

Activated iTunes Match, songs on iPod that were not in computer library deleted

A few days ago I activated iTunes match on my iPod touch, iPhone 4s, iPad and my computer. I wasn't exactly sure of the full potential of iTunes match and was hoping for an easy way to get all of my music onto my new iPad. I have synced music to my iPod over the years using various people's iTunes libraries and therefore do not have all of the songs that were originally on my iPod, in my iTunes library on my computer. Activating iTunes Match has since physically deleted these songs which were not on both devices from my iPod. The songs appear to be present, as I can see them within playlists and such, but I am unable to play them when selected.
Is there a way to restore the songs I originally had back onto my iPod or is it a lost cause?

Unfortunately the music is gone.
iTunes Match does not scan an iOS device. Any music that is on an iOS device, but not in an iTunes library which means it won't be in the cloud after iTM finishes the scan, match and upload process, is deleted.

Yes. They wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. System requirements are stated on the iPhone box and Apple website.
Other alternative is to activate the phone on someone else's newer Mac OS X, but you'll still need iTunes to sync, backup, install etc.

i just redeemed an itunes card on my apple id account, but i can't remember the answers to my security questions so i can't spend it. i did not realize that i needed to answer these questions when i activated the card. is there a way to bypass the q and a step or transfer the money from my old account to a new account (if i create one)? this transfer would be like a regular bank account transfer, the money would no longer exsist in the old account only in the new one. please help

New iPhone: ATT says it's activated, iTunes can't talk to iTunes store?

So, I have a brand new iPhone. I plugged it into iTunes, set up my ATT plan, etc., and then iTunes put up an error saying "Could not complete the iTunes Store request. The store may be busy. Check your Internet connection or try again later." I then got all of the email from ATT saying I was activated, my number was transferred, etc. The SIM works fine if I pop it into another phone, so ATT seems to think life is fine. iTunes has been giving me the same error for 36 hours straight.
My Internet connection is fine. I've tried from multiple machines (including a Windows box), multiple networks, different times of day, etc. No joy. I'm getting very frustrated. Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm tempted to try one of the "activation server" spoofs, since they don't actually modify anything on the phone (and thus should not affect the warranty), but I'm worried that this would make it show up as not yet activated on Apple's end. I did check the warranty coverage, to see if it was a blacklisted refurb or something, but no, Apple says it's fine. iTunes just won't activate the phone.
I'm amazed to be having a better customer experience from ATT than from Apple, to be honest.

Amanda, Don't do it, you might void your warranty. I have had the itunes store do that also. Sometines they are busy. 36 hours is a very long time. Have you tried itunes customer service?
P. S. If you got an email from AT&T your phone is already activated. Can you make a call?
