Activating Lightroom 4 Trial With Cloud

I have LR4 trial installed on my computer but it is expiring.
I also have an active Cloud subscription.
How do I register the LR4 using Cloud?
I looked in my emails from ACC but I don't see anything regarding a serial number.
I would rather not have to download LR4 again through Cloud because I am on a very bad connection.
Thanks

Does it launch the Adobe Application Manager? When I click download under the Lightroom icon I get the following prompt from my web browser, then I click Launch Application which brings up the Adobe Application Manager.

  • Lightroom 5.6 with cloud and iPad

I am using Lightroom 5.6 with my MAC and iPad. I've added pictures to my Lightroom mobile at iPad and now at my desktop all pictures are shown at the folder IMPORTED from iPad, until now all right. But I saw that Lightroom download these pictures at my MAC internal HD and I usually store them at a External HD. When I try to move them to my external HD a pop up screen display an error and pictures are not moved. Anyone with same problem? Anyway to solve this issue? Thank you in advanced!!

  • Activing CS6 trial with Cloud ID.

I have a Creative Cloud Membership, but Adobe are seemed to have forced us into downloading everything twice directly to the final computer.
I saw a suggestion that if I download the CS6 trial version once on any machine, I can install that on both my home computers (with crap internet connections), and just use my Cloud ID to register the suite. That would save loads of download cost, waiting, and dropouts with the initail big files.
    Has anyone done this?
    All quality guidance much appreciated.

Several users have reported success using this process.  I would recommend downloading and installing the Adobe Application Manager from https://creative.adobe.com/ first though.

  • Lightroom 3 Trial is the same in quality as Final Version?

I have here the option to buy Lightroom 3 as my first choice in application for Adobe Software in environment desktop for 32 Bits acknowledge. I'm seeing here posterior versions have it 32 Bits as secondary standard option in 64 Bits version. I'm enthusiasmed about that in characteristic, cause I will not gonna loose the interactivity I have within dot point pixelization in 32 Bits for a posterior version. But I'm not really alarmed about that for newer versions, thinking about that as I still having it in the new features and the environment it presents for Lightroom 3 in flowing support for 32 Bits. But Something (not only talking about the processing in quality for 64 Bits) still regards for the trial I'm testing in 32 Bits for Lightroom 3 as Trial Application. It works as it responds gracious like it has made in functioning for the response 32 Bits have.
But the point of this thread is the question I have about the quality it assists as 32 Bits Floating Point for the definition in the trial Version. - I have experienced something like Photoshop 6 and something about the same thang about functionality or the half about main features; Photoshop CS2, which is a tremendous experience in image edition and about both is my first choice in quality and response for image Software. - I had liked a lot, and in both version I had nothing to complain about the dot point pixelized and processing manufactured as program. But the environment show's it as it duet for be showed as something knowledgeable as main understanding for response in magnificence and originality of masterization.
Ok, it's hard to understand pictures as masterizing, but knowing that about manufacturing we gonna see there in time that magnification always posterize after effects. Photoshop is great in quality, What I'm wanting to mean about that phenomenon which I held before to now days told to think for, just like Adobe have it, maybe to think as probability to co-exist in my own dignifcation.
I have here too a Nikon Camera, which transpose awesome pictures, and their software included (nView) is just great talking about resolution and a new step in technology for pixel taste, I have nothing related than my new experience with it in pictures. It's just futuristic and do it majestically with what it have, it's limited, but perfect! It still do not concerns as compression and noise rate like Adobe Lightroom do. And only are updating for those which are 64.
Well done, but knowing that about Adobe Lightroom, Lightroom 3 in Trial Version is giving nice environment and fast applicable response to my well liked Windows 32 Bits, but it's not having the quality I'm specting for in-vision as final art, I'm wanting that post to know if it's not responding as Final Art because it's Trial version, or it's about the third version, which do not have the complexion for the mean Final 3rd version i have as option to buy.
I know that will programming, and may in support, and public opinion will encourage-me to find that about 64 Bits Version more defined and responsible. May posterior versions which includes 32 Bits, will have the response I need about too. but just like the up-desk to 64 Bits, may it are less for the functioning in 32 Bits, which I already have as perfection for my Nikon in Raw file able. Instead I am wrong about that opinion in posterior versions for Adobe Lightroom 32 Bits.
Whatever, I have to choose and do it for, but I'm from the time which computer stereolize more the enthusiastic points about the knowledge we can have for the application, than the usability we can have for about the update. It's something significable too... But it's not the stereotype for man kind, as the place I have for it. Unless it dislike and hovering override the situation.
Whether it are more than ever,  I will just follow the rout and mark the point for what I can represent as possible and knowledgeable as util a software like Lightroom 3 can be, or aren't, just like I am wanting to know.

    Which camera?
If it's quite new, Lightroom 3 will not support it. You would instead have to use the Adobe DNG converter to convert the camera's files to DNG format, which Lightroom 3 will be able to use.
But if it's a very new camera, the latest versions of the DNG converter (from version 8.4) are 64 bit too, I believe (and are definitely only Windows 7/Windows 8 compatible) - you'd have to use 8.3 for 32 bit (and Win XP, if you're using that OS) support, and that version might not recognise your camera.
This Nikon seems to be supported; I'm trying to have it as secret by now about the model...:-) But it's there in Lightroom 3 Trial with some exceptions. I will try that about the DNG converter. My Camera is upon the desktop.

I have just upgraded from Lightroom 5 standalone to Lightroom 6 standalone. I appear to have been automatically enrolled for a 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. Reading the FAQ, it appears that after the expiry of the free trial, if I do not sign up and pay, I will only be able to view my pictures on the desktop but not edit them - surely this cannot be true. How do I un-enroll for the 30 day free trial of Lightroom Mobile and CC?

When I was signed into Adobe (which was a requirement for installing the upgrade), Lightroom 6 told my at the top right corner that I had 30 days left of my free trial of Lightroom Mobile and Creative Cloud. In parallel with this forum posting, I am chatting with Adobe support. he is away to find out how to prevent any synching with Creative Cloud during the 30 day free trial. I do not think that Creative Cloud is an application that gets installed on your PC. I think Lightroom 6 has it built in, and can use it if if you are signed up to the Creative Cloud and Lightroom Mobile (which I am for 30 days)

  • Using original downloaded lightroom software after creative cloud trial

I originally paid for the lightroom 5 software, but after doing adobe's free creative cloud trial, I can't get back to using my original lightroom software, and my develop module is disabled. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

The normal reason for the Develope module being disabled is because a trial period of the software has expired, and it's possible your computer is confusing the end of the CC trial with the use of a perpetual copy of Lr.
The best way to solve this is to uninstall and then  reinstall your perpetual copy of Lr, assuming you haven't tried this already.

  • Trial version of lightroom 6, not the cloud version?

Can I Download a trial version of lightroom 6, not the cloud version?

    Thomas,
You can purchase LR6 at the link Kglad gave above. If you want to try LR6 first, you can install the Lightroom CC 2015 trial and then serialize it if you want to purchase the non CC version later. Please see these links for instructions:
Creative Cloud product trial | Download, install, start trial  -Step-by-step instructions for downloading and installing trial versions of Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
Serialize Lightroom CC trial to activate as Lightroom 6

  • Does the photography package (Photoshop & Lightroom) come with cloud storage?

Does the photography package (Photoshop & Lightroom) come with cloud storage?

    Hi
I'm really puzzled by conflicting information regarding cloud storage. 2GB seems like a really tiny amount. I assume, therefore, that people must only use the package for editing photos and then must use another service to store them in the cloud, as 2GB surely only amounts to about 500 photos, which I'd use in a couple of days. What would people's typical workflow be?
I'd read somewhere that there's unlimited lightroom web storage, but this seems not to be the case.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

  • Can't activate Lightroom from trial version after paying via the website.

It's stunningly hard to activate a trial installation of Lightroom.  A month ago when I downloaded the software I thought it was possible to buy the software outright.  Now it seems to be leased annually.  And now I paid the first year's instalment and received the 'activation' email,  I click the cloud download box and see the trial version I already installed pop up asking for a serial number.  I don't have a serial number.  My Account information shows an order number but no more details - that'll be available "in 24 hours".
So.  I paid,  but have no software and no service so far.  And Support doesn't have an email address...
Windows 8,  Firefox browser.  Any suggestions gratefully received...

with a cc subscriptionyou should have the cc desktop app.  sign out and then back in to that app using the same adobe id used to subscribe, Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app
    then open lr.

I am trying to INSTALL the free trials of AI and PS when I click on the link to install it goes to another page says installing but nothing is happening. I have the FREE TRIAL Creative Cloud Membership.
I am getting very frustrated with this. When I try to install the Creative Cloud thing it asks me to pay even though it says try for free.

    Hi Mirrormonolith,
Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
    1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
    2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
    3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
Please let me know of that worked.

  • Sharing Lightroom photos in Creative Cloud

I am trying to find tutorials on how I can share Lightroom photos in Creative Cloud. We make client presentations on a tablet so I would like to be able to log in to my cloud account to show clients photos of ideas that correlate with their design/sales presentation. Can I create a collection in Lightroom and have that synched to Creative Cloud? Any other suggetsions on how to make this work?

Victoria, you're absolutely right about the post.
However, Adobe should make some sort of overture to people who have bought into the Creative Cloud and want to have LR4 as well. After all, they announced that it is coming SOON. That leaves people like me out on a limb not knowing where to turn. Should I spend the money (waste is the proper word!) to upgrade from version 3 or should I just let the trial version expire and wait until they finally added to CC. Adobe should give their customers a little guidance!

  • 2 issues - Invalid Serial Number issue & Lightroom 5 Trial vs full version folder hierarchy question

    Hello
not sure if I should split these two questions...
1 - Invalid Serial Number issue
I'm helping out a friend with their large photo collection and they bought Lightroom 5 and received the serial number but when we add this to Lightroom it states that it's invalid - I tried leaving it until the following week (I visit them weekly) and it still refusing the number - when I went into their Adobe account and took a look at downloads the option to download the full version is greyed out (or an x - I'm not sat on their computer right now so can't double check) but it wouldn't allow me to do anything so we just had the trial version.
anyone know what the issue is - shall I get them to contact Adobe to get them to take a look - I also had issues trying to find a customer support email address lol. (I seem to faffing with lots of websites/software/companies this week so getting a little frazzled!)
2 - Lightroom 5 Trial vs full version folder hierarchy question
This question is linked to the above i- I am wondering if the folders in Lightroom are different in the trial version vs the fully paid version.
I had set up some greeting card templates and contact sheet layouts for my friend and tried to transfer them to her computer but whilst, LR 'sees' the folders it just doesn't acknowledge the templates - I tried it several ways but I've not had that issue before so will that sort itself when I get the serial number fixed?
Thank you for any help or suggestions - hope you all have a good weekend :-)
    Lenny

Hi Lenny, the two questions may be related but the trial is actually the same as the full version. I would suggest getting the serial number issue sorted out first. There have been known issues where a paid for product still shows up as a trial. There is not a lot the community can do. You need to contact Adobe directly using the link below. Use the dropdown menu for boxes (1) & (2) to scroll down the list and choose:
    1. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
    2. Serial number issues or activating my product
    3. Click on the blue button: Still need help? Contact us – then click the button marked “chat now”
It’s usually possible to start a live chat, if an Adobe agent is free, and often to get the problem fixed right away.

  • Lightroom 4 and Creative Cloud

I have a subscription to Creative Cloud and 20 days left on my Lightroom 4 trial. If the trial period expires before Lightroom is added to Creative Cloud, do I have to purchase it?

There's nothing immoral about keeping Lr back for a few weeks while they integrate it into Creative Cloud. At least they told you they were going to add it eventually (I had word from Jeff Veen, Adobe's Senior Product guy for Creative Cloud it'd be "a few weeks") rather than letting you buy it and it just shows up in the list. I'm actually pretty sure they wanted it in there from the start, but something slipped somewhere.
I'm guessing adding Lightroom to Creative Cloud is actually made MORE difficult due to the fact that the LR4 upgrade was released prior to CS6/CC. I'd assume that the LR licensing system is being retrofitted with the CC licensing and the install process is being integrated into the Adobe Installer process that the rest of CS6 uses. Lightroom has always been kind of an odd duck (it was the first Adobe app I can remember that had cross-platform licensing and it has never used the same install process as the rest of Adobe's apps). While CS5, 5.5 and 6 all use "Adobe Installer," Lightroom 4 is a standard Mac OS X package (on the Mac, I don't use Windows). It's going to take a while to integrate LR into the Creative Cloud. CS6 got the benefit of being developed and released alongside of Creative Cloud.
I'm sorry Adobe isn't giving you a drop-dead date, but they're actually being smart with that. If they told you June 1 and you made decisions based on that and that slipped (even a few days) you all'd be back in here moaning about how they missed their deadline and every news outlet in the world would give them guff about it. If they use nebulous language like "a few weeks" then you're (and I share this) a bit frustrated now, but it gives them a little flexibility in case things slip a bit.
I'm hardly an Adobe apologist (I think they've been a pretty abusive monopoly for a while now), but there are valid software development reasons that LR might not make it in on day 1. I also think Adobe deserves kudos for putting out a reasonably-priced subscription model and the new CS6 apps are awesome. I'm cautiously optimistic that they've turned the corner back to a company that I can get behind again.

  • Upgrading trial with CC membership

I've purchased a CC membership, and am trying to use Lightroom.  The other Adobe apps work fine with my membership key, but not Lightroom.  According to the instructions I can find on the Adobe site (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/convert-cs6-licensed-under-ccm.html), there is no way to upgrade Lightroom from the trial version.  But, I am also not able to follow the directions there to download and install it.  When I attempt to download, it opens up the CC apps and says Lightroom is already up-to-date.  There does not appear to be a Lightroom uninstaller, and I don't want to risk losing my current photo collections.  (But can't open the trial Lightroom beyond the first page now, since my trial has expired.)
How am I supposed to get Lightroom to work with my CC membership?

What is your OS?? Removing the Lr app will not affect your catalog/s or image files. On a Mac just drag the app to the trash, on a PC you will know what to do!!
