Activating Object in IR - Getting Null Pointer Exception

Hello,
I'm having trouble activating object in my Intergration Repository. When I activate any object I get a null pointer exception. Below is the exception:

ViewDocument.jsp gets null pointer exception when using report token instead of docid for DHTML

The following command gets a null pointer error showing up in Tomcat log:../../viewers/cdz_adv/viewDocument.jsp?sEntry=<%=strEntry%>&lang=en&iDocID=830&ViewType=I&kind=Webiwhere sEntry is a valid report token but works fine if the ViewType is H or id=830 is used instead of sEntry. When the above command is issued the drill columns are displayed correctly but no report is shown and a null pointer exception is encountered.

I am trying to send email through email notification but instance doesn't through any fault but on opmn log it sends null pointer exception and doesn't send any mail. But some other flow using same SMTP server are able to send mail.

I am also trying E-mail Activity but I am not able to receive the e-mail.
I have set the following in the ns_emails.xml

In this "[email protected]" is the user configured and "Server' IPADRESS" is the IPADDRESS of the SMTP server.
Moreover I have also have SMTP server as the incoming server.
Now I have a simple BPEL PROCESS having Email Activity of sending a mail.
The "To" section has "[email protected]".
I am not able to recive the mail and I have also cheked the SMTP server there is no mail there but BPEL Process runs fine.
I also have one Script which can send mail to the user Ihave mentioned and it works fine.So server setting seems to be fine.Are there any other setting required.
If you are able to send the mail then can you give me your inputs on this issue.

Help please I get Null Pointer Exception with my SQL query

The following statement gives me a null pointer exception when executed
from the doPost of my servlet.
rs=stmt.executeQuery(sqlQuery);
The error message reads:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at stockserv.Servlet1.doPost(Servlet1.java:142)
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:760)
===etc.
when I execute the same statement and query (same DB and table) from a standard java
program I do not get the error and get the propper result.
Any obvious thing I should check?

Yes line 142 is as follows
rs=stmt.executeQuery(sqlQuery);
I also tried it with the folowing literal statement and get the same error.
rs=stmt.executeQuery("select * from table1 Where symbol= 'brt' ");
Does null pointer mean I am sending a null query or something else?
Again this same statment works from a regular java (non-server)program.

I am developing client for web services. It works fine when the web service is unsecured. Its giving a null pointer exception at call.invoke when the web service is secured. I have tried setting the system properties. It did not help. any other way I can do. Can you help me with settings i need to do to be able to connect to secured server.

Getting null pointer exception while running the UI project

Hi,
I created a new ADF UI project. I added a jspx, taskflow and jsff. The jsff is added in the taskflow. I dragged and dropped the TF as a region in the jspx. While running the jspx, I am getting a NPE. If I comment out the region, I see the jspx getting loaded. I tried changing the activation property of the taskflow in the page def as immediate. But I still get the exception. Please find below the complete stacktrace.

Getting null pointer exception when connecting to 10.2.0.4

We just had some of our Oracle databases upgraded to 10.2.0.4 from 10.2.0.3. Now, I get a 'null' response with a Java stack trace. I can work with the 10.2.0.3 databases fine, it's the 10.2.0.4 databases that error when trying to open the connection. I changed the properties from network alias (10.2 client installed) to Connection Identifier and it seemed to work. The below error is what I'm getting. The error you got seems to occur because you probably type blank spaces for the password.
If you change with a valid logon that should work!!!

Unable to use TestBed - getting Null Pointer exception

I just downloaded DTTestBed.ear from http://www.banzel.com/download/DTTestBed.ear. After I deployed the war file in 10.1.2 IAS, I tried to test my Data Template. I get the following error:

I have set the following in the ns_emails.xml

In this "[email protected]" is the user configured and "Server' IPADRESS" is the IPADDRESS of the SMTP server.
Moreover I have also have SMTP server as the incoming server.
Now I have a simple BPEL PROCESS having Email Activity of sending a mail.
The "To" section has "[email protected]".
I am not able to recive the mail and I have also cheked the SMTP server there is no mail there but BPEL Process runs fine.
I also have one Script which can send mail to the user Ihave mentioned and it works fine.So server setting seems to be fine.Are there any other setting required.
If you are able to send the mail then can you give me your inputs on this issue.

I have cretaed ajar file on desk top which also includes a .jpg file and .txt.When i run my jar in the desktop it is runninig fine.But when i have placed this jar on my pocket pc and tried to run it ,nullpointerexception is raised at the place where iam accessing jpg and txt files...
eg:

Null Pointer exception while invoking BPEL process

I am getting following exception when I am invoking a BPEL process1 (deployed in 10.1.3.1) from another BPEL Process 2 (deployed in 10.1.3.3)

Am I missing something here in configuration of 10.1.3.1 or any other issue? Please help as it is really urgent.

Am not getting exception now.In the jsp wer I ve written connection,am taking some values using request.getParameter("msg") . I had opened the connection statement before getting these parameter values.Think I ws getting null pointer exception due to this.Now I have opened connection after getting these parameter values...anyway am not getting the exception now...
