Activating ODS to CUBE (urgent)

Hello Gurus,
I'm running an process chains where it loads data to ODS and activating ODS and loading data from ODS to CUBE ....
where my problem is while doing further processing for ODS to CUBE i'm getting an error as follows
1.Error 8 when starting the extraction program
2.Error in source system
3.Error occurred when updating data from ODS
Plz through some light urgent

Hi,
Dont create manually from SU01, the best way is just goto SPRO -->SAP Business Information warehouse -->Automated processes --> Create User for Background Process...
The system prompts with BWREMOTE..just give a password and save it ..it would automatically pull up the necessary profiles.
Error in source systems was giving to me when i have an extractor which extraction job in R3 was cancelled.....this error is received in BW....also you can receive this error if the connection between systems is lost....check in Source Systems and check Connection in order to check if is a network problem...
ckeck the RFC connection once.
check if any dumps created ( i mean for detials)
If possible give some more details of your problem
there may be no connection with source system to BW system.
please check the same in RSA1 Source system tree for the source system, context menu, check the connection.
if not activate the transfer stru. of this object in BW system by replicating the datasource.
Check in RSRV for the prg that updates data for this ODS,Correct it if you find some errors
Goto RSRV, Select the test for ODS Updating program..give the ODS name and execute,if you get an error, you have the option to correct it there..

Issue in loading ODS to CUBE(URGENT)

Hi All,
We are facing an issue in loading AR,AP and G/L ODS to Cube.
The steps we done are
1) Repair full request is done in ODS got around 35 lack records.
2) Done Full load in Cube n got 35 lack records.
3) Done delta load in ODS got 189 records.
4) Done delta load in Cube got 1 lack records.
This is where we guys couldnt find out what went wrong??
1 lack records to cube is not possible...??
Did we went wrong any where..??
Could any one guide us to do What has to be done??

Already delta is done in the Cube and ODS.
No we didn't do intialization . We did repair full in ODS and full update to cube,.
What we have done is
We planned to do the selective deletion from G/L cube for Q2 2007.
Done a repair full request to ODS
From ODS to Cube a full load. (as we have deleted the data from the cube)
Problem is after doing this it has pulled data for Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.(past five days)
But the problem is wilth delta.. it is still pulling only 189 same records that got pulled in yesterday evening data load
Can you tell me wat are all the methods to load those days records also delta records to CUBE.

Error in activating ODS--Most Urgent

Hi Experts,
I am facing error when activating ODS. THe load was succesfull and activation failed. when i checked in RSMO detail screen all the data packets are green but under subsequent processing it shows following error message
"Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table 0WS_VALUE"
"Error getting SID for ODS object"
"Activation of data records from ODS object 0WS_O01 terminated "
"Value ' 4 5 6 7 8 9 ' (hex. '20002000090034002000200009002000200020000900350020') o "
And under others also it is showing same message.
Can any one please suggest how to solve this issue. Its very urgent.

The string you provided contains multiple TAB symbol (' 0900' ). They are not acceptable by ODS. You need to remove or replace them.

Though, as I can see your system is on UNICOD - you'll need to make some adjustment to the code you'll choose.

Error while activating ODS Object (urgent)

Hi Gurus,
I am getting an error while activating ods object.
Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log --> Detail.
Row type /BIC/AGLCATODS00 is not active or does not exist.
Table type /BIC/WAGLCATODS00 could not be activated.
Table /BIC/AGLCATODS50 could not be activated.
Table is not yet classified.
Return code..............: 8.
DDIC Object TABL /BIC/AGLCATODS00 has not been activated.
Error when activating ODS Object GLCATODS.
If any one have come across this issue please help me out in resolving this issue.

There are only 3 info objects which i have created it and activated, only those i am pulling in the new ods but its throwing the same error what ever i do changes.
Is this issue is related to any authorization concerned?

Ods to cube data load verry urgent

Hallo ALl,
i have started the int from ods to cube (data packet 1200000) and its talking hell of time there are 85 data packet, can some suggest me how can i seep up the data load.

1) Stop the load first.check the job log and st22 if htere any shor dumps
2) go to the *8 gnerated infosource...
3) createa New IP.with the option as PSA and datatarget
4) it will take little time but it wont fail..
5) this will process package by package...

How to load data from a ODS to CUBE Request ID - by - Request ID?
The problem is that... some requests had been eliminated of the cube and the delta control between the ODS and CUBE was lost. The flag "data mart status of request" of all the requests of the ODS had been blank.
Now it is necessary to load some requests from the ODS for the cube.
Notes:
- it is not possible to make a complete load selecting the data to be loaded;
- the PSA is not being used;
- considering the data volume it is impracticable to reload the cube completely.

Considering the following:
-> the delta control was lost;
-> the data already are active in the ODS;
-> part of the data of the ODS already is in the cube.
The indicated procedure it only guarantees the load of the data that are in the ODS and that are not in the cube.

1.Name is not in the namespace for generated BW Metaobjects
2.Error 18 in the update

make sure that the Data source is replicated and tranfer rules r active.
And also check whether the all transport requests r imported properly.

Loading through Process Chains 2 Delta Loads and 1 Full Load (ODS to Cube).

Dear All,
I am loading through Process chains with 2 Delta Loads and 1 Full load from ODS to Cube in 3.5. Am in the development process.
My loading process is:
Start - 2 Delta Loads - 1 Full Load - ODS Activation - Delete Index - Further Update - Delete overlapping requests from infocube - Creating Index.
My question is:
When am loading for the first am getting some data and for the next load i should get as Zero as there is no data for the next load but am getting same no of records for the next load. May be it is taking data from full upload, i guess. Please, guide me.

Hi,
The reason you are getting the same no. of records is as you said (Full load), after running the delta you got all the changed records but after those two delta's again you have a full load step which will pick whole of the data all over again.
The reason you are getting same no. of records is:
1> You are running the chain for the first time.
2> You ran this delta ip's for the first time, as such while initializing these deltas you might have choosen "Initialization without data transfer", as such now when you ran these deltas for the first time they picked whole of the data.Running a full load after that will also pick the same no. of records too.
If the two delats you are talking are one after another then is say u got the data because of some changes, since you are loading for a single ods to a cube both your delta and full will pick same "For the first time " during data marting, for they have the same data source(ODS).
Hope fully this will serve your purpose and will be expedite.

Error when loading from ODS to Cube

Hello Friends,
I am having trouble loading data from ODS to Infocube in my 2004S system.When loading data i get this message
07/03/2007     13:10:25     Data target 'ODSXYZ ' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable.
07/03/2007     13:28:42     Data target 'ODSXYZ ' is not active or is incorrect; no loading allowed
I checked for ODSXYZ in my data target but there is nothing by that name.Even the infopackage doesnt have it.What needs to be done.Please help.

Its a expected behavior. When you migrate ur DS, the infopacks associated with it, will grey out all the data targets that they were feeding before, that applies to any infopack you create even after the migration. You womt be able to delete it.
Having said this, this shouldnt impact ur loads from ODS to Cube. As this shoudl be taken care of by ur DTP's rather than ur infopacks.
A few questions:
How are you loading ur cube?
Did the data get thru fine to PSA with the infopack in question?
How did you load ur DSO(assuming the load was successful)?

Hi,
Check the following.
1. 0MATERIAL might be the reference char for ZOPA_8.
2. If so, then need to check conversion routines are same for both.
3. Then check the data (In PSA) under ZOPA_8 and check if it has any special chars or failing due to conversion routine.
4. Correct data and load it again.

Diagnosis
An error occurred in the SAP BW when processing the data. The error is documented in an error message.
System response
A caller 01, 02 or equal to or greater than 20 contains an error meesage.

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load) (give request name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
Also see if there is any 'sysfail' for any datapacket in SM37.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. (In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load). See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.(In source system if load is from R/3 or in BW if its a datamart load)
5) SM58 and BD87 for pending tRFCs.
Once you identify you can rectify the error.
If all the records are in PSA you can pull it from the PSA to target. Else you may have to pull it again from source infoprovider.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish. You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the data tables.

Error in ODS to Cube extraction

Hi All
We are in QA system. We transported our BW confing from Dev to QA system. Basically we are loading data from R3 to ODS and ODS to Cubes.
From R3 system to ODS extraction works fine we are getting data to ODS. From ODS to InfoCube the extraction fails and gives the following error message.
Error 8 when startingthe extraction program
Message no. R3019
Diagnosis
Error 8 occurred whenstarting the data extraction program.
System response
The data extraction is terminated.
Procedure
Check for relevant OSS Notes, or create a problem message of your own.
Please let me know to correct this error.
Your response in this regard is highly appreciated and its very urgent too.

Delta loading daily ods to cube

delta not laoding to ods to cube.last laoding in ods 3 /06 .
when m try to loading m getting erorr

same msg showing in

    Request REQU_D3K2IR788QJC4G9W7H8FWBNHK (2.130 ) for DataSource 0FI_GL_10
    from source system P02CLNT800 has the status green and a lesser SID (and
    is therefore older) than the request that you currently want to update
    into the DataStore object.
    This is not possible because the sequence of requests has to be
    followed.
    Delta- and init requests have to be updated to the DataStore object in
    the request sequence.

Go to RSRQ. Give this request no. REQU_D3K2IR788QJC4G9W7H8FWBNHK. There you will find the message that this request has not been properly updated. You will find a button to update the request. Update this to the data target and activate. You will be thru this time.

ODS to CUbe Zero Record Load

Hi,
A daily load from ODS to Cube is scheduled but the source may or may not have records. so every time the source hass zero records the load happens till the ODS and the status for the ODS remains yellow.
I manually change it to green and activate the request so that the process continues. Is there a way to automate this so that eventhough there are zero records in the load the ODS is activated.
Help would be appreciated

RSMO>select your request>settings>Evaluation of requests(traffic lights)>
IF no data is available in the system the request-->select the radio button.Status Successful..
