Activating problems - creative cloud

I have bought a one year subscription for creativ cloud and I have troubble activating the programs. I go to liscence this product, then log in with my adobe-id and instead of launching the product it keeps asking me for a serial number. Which I haven't got, because with creative cloud one year subscribtion it is only going to log in with your adobe id?
I have tried contacting adobe, but they keep telling me to uninstall, use adobe cleaner and then download again. Which clearly doesn't work, but they don't have any better suggestions...
I'm about to cancel my subscribtion - there is no use in paying for products that doesn't work. Thought perhaps someone in here could help me before I cancel. I would really like for the programs to start working...

    Creative Cloud member. Since one month, several times a day I had to activate my account. Strange, but not a big deal, It was working anyway.
    2 computers : desktop and laptop.
    Today it's not the same, I get an error message on the desktop while I try to type my password : "ERROR There was an error with this action. Try again later. 5c9136ff-c019-4fb4-908a-1ed865fe88be" .
    Now, I can't open any of Adobe products on my desktop (still ok on the laptop). And I need to work on projects, clients are not patient. ("sorry, I can't activate my adobe account" is not a good excuse..)

  • Installation Problem Creative Cloud

    Every time I double click to install the creative cloud installer on my MAC, the download will get about halfway through and then the window will just close out. I have gone as far as to reinstall my hard drive in case it's a problem with my computer. Nothing is working. What should I do? This is for a work computer.

  • Activation of Creative Cloud packages created with CCP 1.3 breaks when deploying via imaging

    Descption of the problem:
    If Creative Cloud products are deployed as a part of an OS image and the packages are created with CCP for Windows 1.3, the activation still breaks.
    The problem affects most of our class room computers but, however, not all of them.
    When a standard user tries to open any of the products, an error message is displayed instead of opening the the program. 
    Configuration error
    A problem has occurred with the licensing of this product.
    Restart your computer and re-launch the product.
    If this problem still occurs after restarting, contact Customer Support for further assistance, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.
    Error: 213:19
    Installed Products: Acrobat XI,Ai,Dw,Fl,Id and Ps 
    CCP version: 1.3.0, build 66
    CCP Workstation OS: Windows 7 SP1 32-bit
    Target OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
    Workaround: running APTEE on an resolves the issue every time. Yet according to Adobe this should not be necessary.
    Deployment workflow
    1. Create a single package containg all of the products with CCP and an Enterprise CC serial number.
    2. Customize Acrobat .mst file for the target language with Adobe Customization Wizard XI, leaving the serial empty. 
    3. Create a batch file to run ExceptionDeployer in pre mode, install the the other products and finally run ExceptionDeployer in post mode.
    4. Install the the package to a model computer using the batch.
    5. Run Windows's built-in sysprep tool  with OOBE and shutdown switches.
    6. Capture the image from the model computer and deploy it to other computers.
    We can unfortunately reliably reproduce this issue and we are, if not happy, but at least willing to provide you all the required logs and other info to find a real solution.

  • Activations for Creative Cloud for student teacher edition

    I need to upgrade my software and was looking into creative cloud.  I am a teacher and would get the full creative cloud package.  Is that a normal activation code that would work on two computers (my desktop and my teacher laptop)? 
    Second I have lightroom 4 and photoshop cs5 extended when downloading will that sync with my previous catalogs with all prior settings (adjustements, ratings, etc.)?

    If you purchase a student teacher version you typically have to provide some kind of proof of eligibility, the required codes and process varies slightly depending on whether you purchase from Adobe direct or a reseller. The license allows you to use the software on two computers.
    The Lightroom 4 catalog gets converted to 5 and should retain everything http://forums.adobe.com/message/5430081
    I'm not sure about the settings for Photoshop CS5 to Photoshop CC, I know it does it between CS6 and CC. You could post in the Photoshop forum about it.

    I get an "Internet connection required for subscriptions" error.  And yes, I'm connected to the internet, but I am behind a pretty mean firewall.  Product Updates can see my proxy and download, but Activation can't?

    Our IT guy talked with an Adobe guy for a while, and they determined that the proper ports are open, but it's still not working.  Here's another question from him:
    it looks there communication needs to translate on port 80 to make to work behind the proxy .. can you check if they can do that  or find alternate protocol that can transverse traffic on port 80 – because the web-proxies do not understand anything other than port 80 ..

    yesterday it took 46 minutes on hold for tech support to answer.Tthen two hours later after melicious tools bars were inapproporiately installed by your techs, I was told that the file must be corrupted. another 4 hours to download by DSL! Your "Cloud Servers" will not allow registration today and your phone lines are busy today and will not ring thru. What $#%%%@@#$%^ kind of support is this!

  • How t download apps when only trial versions appear?? - I am an active member of the Creative Cloud.

    After signing in to Creative Cloud, I attempt downloading of different applications (for example Photoshop and Illustrator) but
    I only get the trial versions as an option for download.
    I am confirmed as an active paying member and I did install the latest version of Adobe Application Manager.
    What else can I try? Please help.

    If you are getting the TRIAL option on the creative cloud website then follow the steps for section A.
    If you are getting the trial prompt when launching the installed application,  follow the steps on Section B.
    Section A (Applcations in trial mode in creative.adobe.com):
    1. Please make sure you are logged in with the active subscribed adobe id.
    2. Try to log out and log in back again.
    3. Try another borwser.
    4. Clear the cache and history of the browser reload it and then try logging again.
    Section B (Trial prompt when launching the installed application )
    Launch one of the problem Creative Cloud applications.
    On the Creative Cloud app trial screen, click License This Software.
    Sign in with your Adobe ID associated with your Creative Cloud membership.
