Activating PSE 4.0 After Installation

Hi, I'm trying to package Photoshop Elements 4.0 to be pushed out with Microsoft SCCM but don't want to activate it until after installation. Is there any way to skip activation until the first time PSE is run?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The above should have said like pse8 and pse 9 use.
I believe there were two versions of pse 4 for windows, one was the try and buy version
that you would get if one downloaded pse 4 from adobe and the other was the cd
version, which doesn't have a trial period, so i'm guessing there's not a way to install
without a serial number or delay putting the serial number in until after installation.
You can still download the try and buy version, but i couldn't tell you whether or
not it would accept your serial number.

That is usually a symptom thet the phone was hacked or jailbroken. Was it?

License Activation After Installation of an Windows 7 Image

I have a volume license installed on a image that I am deploying to machines in my office. After installation of the image on the computer I have to reactive the license. Is this normal procedure of is there someway I can ensure that the license
is activated after deployment so I can skip this step of the setup process?

It is required that license activation occurs on each machine, after Windows is installed on each machine.
Every Windows license is individuated for every machine (a unique CMID is generated).
This is especially important for imaged/cloned machines. Are you using sysprep? Are you performing a rearm prior to image capture?
You can have the activation occur automatically. Are you using MAK or KMS ?

HT201371 More Apple id's with the same Touch ID possible? I have two Apple ID's, one for buying apps since the first iPhone and later, one for iCloud. Now with my new iPhone 5s, after installation Touch ID is connected to the iCloud one.

I have 2 Apple ID"s, one for buying app's (since the first iPhone) in the store and another one for operating with iCloud things. Now, after installation/activation of my new iPhone 5s, the Touch ID is connected to the iCloud world. Conclusion, if I like to buy a new app. I still have to fill in the password for the other Apple ID. In the past I asked Apple to may join both, but that seems to be impossible.
Anyone a solution?

I am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

Photoshop elements 11 just after installation in the editor the mouse does not even scroll top menu

HI guys
Very dissapointed so far by this adobe soft, that I just installed a few hours ago. At this point it is worthless and no way I can use it like that . After installation I went directly into the editor and right away I saw that the software was very sluggish with my cursor dragging . After clicking on a top menu (File) the menu bar open (5 sec.)and if I scroll it down I do not see the blue color following my cursor, and if I click at the location in the bar of my cursor it takes a few second before it respond. I am also using the following adobe softwares that works flawlessly : Photoshop CS5.5 extended; Bridge; Camera Raw; Lightroom 4.2. My computer uses an Asus P7P55-E Premium motehrboard with Win 7 pro 64 bits with an intel I 860 2.8 mhz and 8 gigs of RAM. All my adobe softs are 64 bits, except for elements 11. After seeing that, I installed the upgrades without any visible problems. Even after that nothing has improved.
I have to say that I have quite a few softwares installed that all work perfectly such has Topaz bundle; Photomatix pro, etc. In fact of all my softwares this is the only one that is giving me troubles.
I hope somebody has a solution for this extremely poor behavior.

I think you are using Win7, if yes please try the following
Right click on the PSE icon and select Run as administrator
Now try to use it, check if there is any change or not.

Adobe Premiere Elements does not open after installation

Hello,
I have written before last week. I have bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11.
I had a trial version of Photoshop Elements 11 and with the code I could access the full version.
However Premiere Elements did not open after installation. I did not had a trial version so I first downloaded the full program. I went through the whole installation process and everything seemed ok, no error messages. But when I tried to open Adobe Premiere Elements after restarting the computer it did not open at all. Nothing happened.
I have de-installed and re-installed the program for a couple of times over and over again but with not result. Also tried to download the trial version first and also this didn't work. I checked my Quicktime and updated to the latest version.
I use a Windows laptop: Asus Intel Core i5-2430M, 2,4 GHz
I hope you can help me out!

Yes I saw it but PSE (refers to Photo Shop Elements??) and I have trouble with Premiere Elements..(so the video program)
The Photoshop Elements worked.
I am not sure what to do here also the link at your reply "working with your operation system tools" didn't work..(got the "broken link error")

Can't open Acrobat 9 Pro or Distiller after installation

All seemed fine:
Installation by Drag and Drop, done
Entering the Product key, Done
Entering Registration Informations, Done
But since that Acrobat 9 Pro does nothing. I only see the "buisy" mouse pointer, which is the turning watch, but Acrobat does not respond anymore, but takes about 60% of CPU.
In Finder I get the information message, that the programm does not respond anymore, so I only can kill that process...
Same with Adobe Distiller....
Any guess? THX

Well,
it wasn't a permission, it wasn't administrator... it simply was the company proxy server.
After installation, Acrobat allways wants to send the registration form by HTTP to Adobe.
Now the problem is, that our Proxy needs an authentification. Acrobat uses the entry in the keychain, but still cannont connect the port of Adobe, because this port ssems to be shut by our company system.
So I disabled all network ports on the system preferences, and restarted acrobat again. Now Adobe claims, that it is unable to send the registration, because of missing an active internet connection and want's a user choice, for send now, send later or cancel. I choosed send later and acrobat start up without any problems later.
Now I was going to the help menue, and disabled the automatical update process and automatical registration process.
Now Acrobat runs like a charm....

How to make my application icon ancor in task bar after Installation

I want my application icon to acor in the task bar after installation such that users can right-clik on it
do some changes to the applications. I want it in the active icons bar next to the timer (around there). How do I achieve this

Runtime Error! after installation of Photoshop Elements 10

Yesterday I installed Photoshop Elements 10 and Premier Elements 10. After installation, whenever I log into my user account in Windows 7, I receive a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! It further says Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. In addition to logging into the windows account, the same error sometimes occurs when Photoshop Elements Organizer, editor and Premier Elements is started. My wife has another account in windows and does not get this error in any of the above cases. After clearing the error, I seem to be able to use the programs, but this occurs every now and then.
What can I do to repair the installation? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem remains. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

More information. I tried uninstalled PSE and then set up a new user account. Reinstalled PSE from the new account. Everything works fine in the new user account and my wife's user account. The account with problems continues to get the same error when logging in or starting PSE.
Checked the error using event viewer and found that the problem is with dynamiclinkmanager.exe. After logging in to the working accounts dynamiclinkmanager is running, but is not in the problem account. Cannot find any differences between the accounts. Below is the event viewer data. There is a fix; I finally discovered how to clear the Windows 7 xx64 Device Manager's warning of a missing Bluetooth Peripheral device.
Thinking Boot Camp 4.0 would correct thid, I installed it ititially today only to have the warning remain.
The Bluetooth company called Broadcom (you notice the reference during the installation of Boot Camp) offers a BlueTooth "device finder" (my phraseology) that detects all BlueTooth devices in your Apple or PC but withing a Windows operating system; included are Windows 7 , Vista, XP and even 2000 operating systems.
So download the 3 MB file, from Broadcom.com. While your Bluetooth equipment is plugged in to the computer, run the program. In my case, I ran the program, rebooted my MacBook Pro (in Windows 7 x64 and with the new Boot Camp 4.0 installed) and the missing BlueTooth peripheral device indication was eliminated. It took 10 minutes to complete.

That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.

Application directory Partition, Reverse lookup Zone , after Installation of Tree Domain

I have multiple domains (Windows Server 2008 Enterprize, and funtional level 2008) in an exisiting forest
after installation of new Tree domain i am facing the problem in creating reverse zone in DNS
Error message
"the partition to replicate zone data top all dns server that domain controllers on the active directory ws not created. The application directory partition operation failed. the domain controller holding the domain naming master role is down or unable
to service the request or is not running windows 2003"
plz reply soon i am facing a trouble .

The error message states that your domain naming master role holder is down or not responding.
First, you need to identify which one of your DCs is the holder of this FSMO role: You can use
netdom query fsmo command for that. If there is no DC that is currently holding this FSMO role then you need to size to one of them: https://support.microsoft.com/KB/255504?wa=wsignin1.0
If one of your DCs is holding the role then you need to check why it is not responding or unreachable. This could be checked by running
dcdiag on this DC to do a health check.

Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

Archlinux fails to find lvm volumes after installation

Hi,
yesterday i installed archlinux on a logical volume, root and boot are both on this volume (/dev/mapper/volg-arch).
the filesystem is ext3. the setup recognized the volume group and activated all volumes, so the installation was no problem, but when i try to start the system after installation, no volume group can be found.
lvm2 was enabled during installation using USELVM="yes" in rc.conf and HOOKS="base udev autodetect pata scsi sata keymap lvm2 filesystems" in mkinitcpio.conf.
i use grub2 to boot the system with the following entry
menuentry "Arch" {
linux (volg-arch)/boot/vmlinuz26 root=/dev/mapper/volg-arch
initrd (volg-arch)/boot/kernel26.img
it boots, however it cannot find any volume groups and because of that cannot load the root-filesystem.
my other linux-system works great, which is installed on lvm2 and using grub2, too.
did i miss a configuration?

yes, grub2 supports it., which is really great.
mkinitcpio was run after modifying mkinitcpio.conf automatically by the setup.
its really odd that it works during the setup but not later.

then it fails with errors (because of course no root-device could be found) and the ramfs-shell is started.
i think lvm-support is enabled,
because it is scanning for volumes.

just tried to boot with the following entry
menuentry "ArchInstall" {
linux (volg-arch-install)/isolinux/vmlinuz root=/dev/mapper/volg-arch
initrd (volg-arch-install)/isolinux/initrd.img
this is the volume where i copied the install-cd to (i have no cd-drive and did a hdd-install) and installed the system from.
IT WORKS! but of course it takes too long to load this setup-initrd for using the system.
so my initrd, generated by the setup, is wrong :-/
any hints?
