Activating US version of Iphone 3G overseas

I am hoping someone on this forum may know the answer to my question. I have been to an Apple retail store and AT&T but no one seems to know the answer.
If I buy a US version of the iphone with AT&T, then cancel the contract in 6 months when I move to Australia will I be able to activate it with Optus (an australian wireless provider)? Or should I just wait until I move to Australia and buy one from Optus?

You will want to wait until you get to Australia. Even if you cancel your contract, the phone is still locked to ATT in the US. It will be much simpler to wait until you get to Australia and then buy the phone there.

I purchased an iPad 2 for my wife for Xmas and it did not come with iOS 5 so I had to update it......

Dear Richard Antony,
The Versioning in the Workflow is very important its some what simmilar to the version on any SAP Objets like Tables, Program etc.
Here Suppose any change comes in working workflow, then in stead of directly change them you can create a version of them and them modify it. So that you can reverst back to that version if required.
Like wise there is lots of importance of versioning Workflow.
The Active Plan version is also important to establish at SWU3. As all the Workflow is using Organization management which is very depended on the Active Plan version. so based on which Plan version you want to use you can Provide in SWU3 to tell Workflow system to use this.

If it won't talk at all to iTunes, you can hold down the power and home button for 10 seconds, it will power off, this is ok, then let go of the power button while holding the home button until iTunes sees it as a device in recovery mode. You can try to reinstall iOS7 and then restore.

Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

What happens when you try to sync? Do you see any error messages? Which software on the computer are you referring to, iTunes? The latest iTunes is 11.1.3. If you cannot update the phone due to lack of storage, you will need to delete some content from the phone.

i am getting "no active plan version exists" while adding logical system in partner profile. while duble click on this it showing "set active plan version".
Can anyone answer me how to do the set active plan version. I asked my functional team and they didnt know how to set it.

Now i am getting different error while creating partner profile in we20..

How to get active plan version dynamically

Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.

Please help a Newbie uninstall Adobe Active X version . . .

I have been trying to do this myself for almost 4 days now. Here's the situation and heres the problem:
Situation: I installed the version I thought would fix my hesitant videos on UTube. What I see was installed is just the Active X version and not the plugin.
               Version 11.1.102.55. I want to simply get a version that I can USE to view videos that will not cache and load every 15 seconds like it does now.
               I do not have the plugin for this version installed. Is THIS my problem?
                I believe my system is compatible as per the Adobe requirements: 448 MB RAM.   AMD Semprom processor 2800+(couldn't find the GHZ           of      the           processor.   IE 8.0. Windows 32 bit.
Problem: when I go to the uninstall and run it, I am told to close out all browsers to keep the uninstall running. However, when I close out IE, I loose the uninstall! I just don't get it. How do you close out the very browser the uinstall is running on without losing tha application.
also-- do I even NEED to uninstall the Active X version. AND. do I need to install the plugin?
I am not dumb. I'm just not a tech person and it takes a long time to learn the processes. Can someone get on my wave length and tell me what to do?

Thanks So Much for your helpful information! I will try to get this Adobe 11 uninstalled, but only before you can give me your OPINION about the wisdom of what I want to do.
I want to get rid of this Active X version 11, Only so I can install an older version Adobe Flash 10 to get videos the way I used to get them just a month ago. Do you think this is a wise decision? Simple question, I know, but I would appreciate your opinion or anyone else's on this matter. Evidently tons of people are having horrid performance problems with Adobe 11, according to many of the newsgroups and help groups I saw on this very issue. You know my system is compatible with the Adobe software for 11, and surely for 10 from my information previously. A little heads up is all I need here. THANKS.
