Activation code required

hi - I've just got a 6300 and am trying to get teh music player to work. I have uploaded songs onto the devices memory using teh nokia music manager software. However when I try to play a track I get the error message "activation code required". I'm a bit confused and would like to know what this means? At first I thought it might be a DRM type lock but even when I load the songs directly from the original CD I get the same error massage. Can someone please explain what is going on?

May we know what version of Nokia PCSuites & Windows(XP/Vista) you are using? Don't use the PCsuite Music manager this time in ripping;try to rip the audio CD by XP/Vista WMP first to mp3 then transfer it to phone & check if you'll get the same message(Deleting first the previous ones).
When you copy an original audio cd by PC/Laptop program you'll be notified that your are copying a copyrighted product.

Did you restore the iPhone after Sprint told you that the unlock request had been processed? That's necessary to complete the unlock.

Hi. I have a never ending issue with my nokia lumia 710 i need a activation code, ive contacted the support centre in South Africa (where i am situated) with a result of them telling me they will contact me with the code but as expected im not getting a response,The lady helping me working for nokia even had the nerve to get angry with me for following up on the situation.And cant give me any information apart from they will contact me with a code, they cant even tell me more or less how long it will take. this is so frustrating and i am regreting purchasing a nokia as it is rendered useless. In rare cases, a new activation code is required to complete the Microsoft account sign-in process. In your case, does it mean you have successfully set up a Microsoft account yet you're still asked to put the code? Have you checked the resolution given by @Abi99? How do I proceed?

Sign in to your Adobe account online and see if your serial number is available via the My products section. If you regstered your software then it should be available there.
Your only other hope beyond that would be to contact Adobe Support thru chat and see if they can help you. Also ask them to reset your activations so that the lost installation is essentially deactivated.

Does Leopard require registration number/activation code like XP???

I am new to using Apple computers , well I learnt on Mac in high school which seems like decades ago.
I have been currently using XP until my boyfriend purchased his sisters old PowerBook G4 for me & gave it to me for xmas. I need the new operating system - Leopard - & I have seen it quite cheap on eBay. I was wondering if like XP, does the Leopard OS require a legit serial number/activation code? I am really inexperienced & would like to know before I go spending money on an OS that I cannot use. One of the sellers on ebay assures me it doesnt require any form of registration. He also told me that you cannot burn/back up a copy of Mac software eg. Leopard & assured me it is legit. Please Help!!!

No, the Leopard DVDs can be copied. I made a backup of it the day it arrived.

Not sure it's legal to sell that second disk. Your license and therefore the license for the DVD applies to your DVD(s). However, you might consider simply donating it to a worthy cause.

I don't currently have access to an AppleTV, so I can't personally test this. Keep in mind that Netflix streaming requires you to have an active paid account.
If the app on AppleTV works similar to the one for iOS (iPhone/iPad) then there should be a field to enter your Netflix email and password.

Non delivery of Activation codes

I am starting to hear lots of other people complaining about software they purchased at Ovi Store, which includes myself. Here is my story: I purchased Ultimate SMS direct from Ovi on my E71 and it installed and worked fine. I got an email receipt for my purchase and I thought nothing of it. Then new firmware for my E71 was released and after I installed this new firmware Ultimate SMS no longer worked so I had to delete it and re-install a trial version temporarily. To activate this to the full version again it requires an activation code but I was not sent one and this was not included in my original receipt from Ovi. I contacted Ovi support and supplied all the details they requested (about 30 lines of information regarding the purchase!). To date they have not replied and therefore I can no longer use a software that I legitimately paid for at the Ovi Store. As far as I am concerned this is nothing less than a scandal and apparently it has happened to many others.
I am not going to let this go as it is a matter of principal that Ovi and Nokia sort this problem out or it will become a legal matter. I am not going to pay again for the software but I will be pursuing this matter if it is not resolved. I will also not be paying for any more software from Ovi Store unless I receive a full activation code with my receipt. It is not good enough simply to allow one installation directly from the phone because, as we all know, future problems can occur. As far as I am concerned I purchased the activation code, or whatever is needed to activate the software, not simply the right to install it once from Ovi.

Problem in Transferring activity ID structure to activity codes

I am working on a power plant schedule. We have two sets of structure for Activities i.e. Activity ID consisting of 10 digits and activity codes. we have setup a database as per our requirement. People who have worked on Power plant projects might be aware that there are two many systems involved the numbers runs into few hundreds.
For a certain specific client requirement I have to use activity ID structure in place of activity codes. For this i need to transfer all system name and description in Activity ID to Activity Codes....its a tedious process. if anyone had encountered such a problem please revert back

This might be an area where the project.xls file would prove useful. It used to be available on the Primavera Knowledgebase, I assume Oracle has it on theirs as well. I assume, because I can't access the KB anymore.
Anyway, using Project.xls (or projectmod.xls) you can connect to the data dictionaries and create values much more quickly. Activity.xls (or activitymod.xls) allows you to assign values to activities pretty efficiently.
It has worked for us many times.

You can check you Adobe account online to see if the serial number is registered under your account. If not then your only option will likely be to contact Adobe Support directly thru chat to see if they can provide you with a/the serial number. For them to do so will require you being able to prove ownership.
